Ai+ will launch its smartphones on July 8

How easily people put privacy and Google in the same sentence?
I wish I could meet one such person myself and ask him what he's smoking, must be something grade A.
Anonymous, 9 hours ago From the name to the marketing about privacy, it's a scam. How dare you! The party would never lie to you! Blasphemy! ...or whatever the equivalence is in agnosticism.
Soon: chatGpt launched it's first Virtual smartphone with chatGPT at the helm. After that, it contracted Gemini 3D printers to push out 100.000 units, that sold in a matter of seconds. Deep seek seeing the success of chat gpt took notes and launched himself 2 virtual smartphones, one with deep seek at the helm but with chatGPT like interface and the other with deep seek at the helm and 1000000 mAh virtual battery. Deep Seek is now struggling to push it's devices through the Gemini 3d printer. Gemini is reculent about Deep Seeks second device battery specifications, and said that the battery is a paper-specs only, while accusing deep seek of UI theft, puting manufacturing on hold. Deep seek needs now to seek other 3d printers with lesser strict rules or change it's ways. 3 months later: deep seek is now also on a 3d printer, happily puhing out it's paper specs devices.

Ngl that price tag is pretty insane, in a good way
[deleted post] It's got nothing to do with India. It's how sick the smartphone market, in general, has become. In India, nobody is focusing on building an Indian smartphone brand seriously, maybe Lava to some extent, and everyone is happy with what's available. I don't even want to argue which other countries contribute more to e-waste as that argument with someone like you is pointless. If you want to educate yourself about Indian innovation that is efficient, go read about our space programs. In my opinion, that's one area where we are doing a phenomenal job and they have also been quite underrated. Smartphones are not eco-friendly anywhere in the world. So I would request you to refrain from making such comments, unless it makes you feel good about yourself when you talk trash about something you have no knowledge of.
These phones look great. They really spend a lot of money to disguise a generic oem phone into a good looking one. The Unisoc chipsets are worth the price. The only problem is the false marketing of this. AI? Focus on privacy? This is a glorified generic phone.
[deleted post] Developed countries are the problem especially considering the plastic usageand production. In top 5 plastic producing companies there are two companies from US Dow inc and ExxonMobil. Moreover there are two waste landfills in the biggest landfills in the world list that are in US namely Apex Regional Landfill and Puento Hills California. That is after selling its a major plastic waste to Malaysia and other countries.
Give me any fact refuting this.
Anonymous, 20 hours ago That would be crazy good value What about this generic AI nonsense that offers absolutely nothing is good value? It's anything but that.
Anonymous, 20 hours ago You know all those cautionary sci-fi tales about how mankin... more Not really, its just a primitive marketing. They are brainstorming how to sell a lot of crappy phones and decide to spin-off a small part of the company under one of the executives and assign it the name of the current marketing hit in the world. If not AI they would call it whatever is the currently popular branding. And they will use worst possible hardware at dirt cheap prices. Also at no risk for the fpunding brand. And if it succeds somehow, they will up the price fo square the circle. No worries, Unisoc will not overtake a single kitchen, let alone the world. Its just shameful that websites like gsmarwna will start spamming "exclusive infos" and "newest images" and force those upon us as if we are interested in this e-waste. And entire cycle will repeat itself again once AI goes out of fashion.
DashF, 23 hours ago Why would you not expect low end specs in a phoen that cost... more HMD Crest at $70 would be much better value, and it's also cheaper than that, under different Indian retailers.
I think the funniest thing about this brand is how they are incapable of Not Using AI footage in their ads. Do they not have like. Models of these phones?
"Twitter, wikipedia.. Ai+?!" 🤣 .. who's gives names this things
Yolobs, 23 hours ago And some peoples think indian cant create something new ! Is this even example to give as something new ?
The whole article feels like they are targeting the company and telling it useless and not so valuable. Using words like "so-called" and so on. Let them enter into market first. People are becoming judge now-a-day without doing anything.
aadam, 23 hours ago lol designed in india they said slaps infinix design the... more So, when chinese companies were making this type of design what were you doing, why didn't you spoke anything, never mind the cheap mindset of people
rabbit OS 2.0 hahahaa
That would be crazy good value
Hamiyoo, 23 hours ago does AI really have to be in EVERYTHING You know all those cautionary sci-fi tales about how mankind becomes totally dependent on AI and it all goes horribly wrong? We're going down that same path.

Facebook now uses the photos in your phone to train its Meta AI (if you allow it)

Tech giants like Google and Microsoft, as well as social networks like Facebook, have been pushing for more laxed regulations of their AI tools. Unfortunately, in their endeavor to refine their AI, many times these companies purposefully invade the privacy of their users, even though often times that appears to be done with their this regard, it looks like Facebook has added a new AI-related feature for both iOS and Android users, which asks them to opt into 'cloud processing,' which in turn will allow the social network to provide them with 'creative ideas' when posting a new Story. Facebook users on phones must tap 'Allow' if they want to start using this feature and agree to Meta's AI Terms of Service. Once they agree, Facebook will be able to use its AI to analyze their media and facial features. More importantly, Meta's AI terms mention that it has the right to 'retain and use' all personal information users who agreed with its terms have shared, in order to offer these suggestions. Some Facebook users on Android and iOS have noticed a new option under the Settings, which asks for user's permission to enroll if they want to ' get camera roll suggestions when you're browsing Facebook .' When this feature is enabled, Facebook users will ' occasionally see photos and videos from your camera roll as new sharing suggestions .' Facebook claims that it will use basic camera roll data, including videos the user has favorited, as well as when exactly the photos were taken. Even more intrusive is the option below, which is meant to provide users with ' personalized creative ideas, like travel highlights and collages .' In order to receive these, Facebook users must allow Meta to select media from their camera roll and upload it to the company's cloud 'on an ongoing basis.' Then, Facebook will choose media based on info like time, location, themes and presences of people or objects. According to the social giant, only you will be able to see the suggestions, but you can share them if you want. Facebook cloud processing | Image credit: TechCrunch Facebook confirmed to TechCrunch that it's indeed running a test in the US and Canada, but mobile users won't be affected by this feature unless they decide to opt-in. – Maria Cubeta, Communications Manager, Video at Facebook, June 2025 Meta has been one of the most aggressive proponents of AI. The company's CEO, Mark Zuckerberg, is obsessed with creating a 'superintelligence,' which is why Meta now has a new division called Meta Superintelligence Labs. The move follows a rather lukewarm reception of Meta's Llama 4 model, which seems to have been outsmarted by the competition including DeepSeek, Google, and OpenAI. Leaked Pixel 10 Pro and 10 Pro XL specs will make you wonder why bother with an upgrade this year

We've all seen smartphone manufacturers rehash their high-end designs multiple years in a row while leaving many key specs largely unchanged as well, but at first glance, what Google is reportedly preparing to do with the Pixel 10 family might be (almost) completely unprecedented. Essentially rendered as carbon copies of their predecessors more than three whole months ago, the Pixel 10 Pro and Pixel 10 Pro XL are today getting (nearly) comprehensive spec sheets that look oddly familiar... to say the least. Granted, the information leaked by Android Headlines is by no means official or final, but given the typical credibility of that source, you can pretty much take all the following details and numbers to the bank. 6.3-inch OLED display with 2856 x 1280 pixel resolution, up to 3,000 nits of brightness, and 120Hz refresh rate technology; Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 screen protection; Google Tensor G5 SoC; 16GB RAM; 128GB, 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB storage variants; 50MP primary rear-facing camera; 48MP secondary ultra-wide-angle lens; 48MP tertiary telephoto sensor with 5x optical zoom; 42MP front-facing camera; 4,870mAh battery; 29W wired and 15W wireless charging support. What's the biggest upgrade Google's next compact powerhouse is expected to bring to the table over last year's 6.3-inch Pixel 9 Pro ? Without a doubt, a brand spanking new Tensor G5 chipset. Yes, the Pixel 10 Pro looks virtually identical to the 9 Pro in this leak from a while back. But no matter how fast the TSMC-manufactured processor (based on 3nm technology) will prove in real-life use compared to the Tensor G4 (which Google developed in collaboration with Samsung leveraging older 4-nanometer tech), that feels like a disappointingly... mundane key selling point for a new Android flagship. Mobile phones improve the raw power of their forerunners with every new generation, so even the most devoted Google fans might need something extra to be convinced of the Pixel 10 Pro 's value. Unfortunately, that something is probably not a 4,870mAh battery, which is only ever so slightly larger than the 4,700mAh cell inside the Pixel 9 Pro . The wired charging speeds are also barely expected to be improved (from 27 to 29 watts), while the resolution of all three cameras and the 6.3-inch screen will almost certainly go totally unchanged. Of course, the imaging sensors themselves might be upgraded in ways that are not always obvious simply by looking at specifications like the ones listed above, so let's wait and hope for the best before criticizing Google too harshly. 6.8-inch OLED screen with 2992 x 1344 pixel resolution, up to 3,000 nits of brightness, and 120Hz refresh rate support; Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2; Google Tensor G5; 16GB RAM; 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB storage options; 50 + 48 + 48MP triple rear-facing camera system; 42MP front-facing camera; 5,200mAh battery; 39W wired and 15W wireless charging capabilities. The Pixel 10 Pro XL doesn't look very different from the 9 Pro XL either. Unlike the Pixel 10 Pro , which is expected to start at the same $999 point as the Pixel 9 Pro with the same 128 gigs of internal storage space, the Pixel 10 Pro XL could cost $1,199 instead of $1,099 in an entry-level configuration with 256GB local digital hoarding room instead of 128GB. That's unlikely to be received well by many prospective buyers when you consider all the far-too-familiar other specs listed above, the marginal wired charging support bump from 37 to 39W, and a slightly bigger but not that important battery capacity improvement from 5,060 to 5,200mAh. Galaxy Z Fold 7 battery less than 4,400 mAh, IP rating also disappoints

If a new report from a very reliable source is to be believed, then the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 is going to disappoint in two key aspects. The battery on the phone is apparently still less than the 4,400 mAh that Samsung markets it as, and its IP rating is also not great. Galaxy Z Fold 7 Still Supports iP48 Only Rating. — PandaFlash (@PandaFlashPro) June 30, 2025 Galaxy Z Fold 6 was marketed as having a 4,400 mAh battery, but the actual capacity was around 4,273 mAh. The battery capacity on the Fold 7 will continue that trend, and will actually be 4,272 mAh. Of course, the all but confirmed 25W wired charging is also underwhelming. Furthermore, the Fold 7 will carry over its predecessor's IP48 rating. An IP48 rating means that the phone will only be able to keep out larger dust particles, while smaller ones can enter the device. Whereas an IP68 rating, seen on most flagships, is completely resistant to dust. An IP48 rating also offers much lower protection against water than an IP68 rating. Leaked render of the Fold 7. | Image credit — Evan Blass Despite these two underwhelming features, however, the Fold 7 is still shaping up to be quite an excellent foldable smartphone. In fact, the Fold 7 sold me on foldables before the foldable iPhone could, and that's saying something. It's just a shame that Samsung is still falling behind its competitors in some aspects, while it catches up in others. The Google Pixel 9 Pro Fold has a bigger battery ( 4,650 mAh ) and can withstand water much better with its IPX8 rating. Meanwhile, other excellent foldable options from Chinese manufacturers blow the Fold 7 out of the water that it can't protect itself Oppo Find N5, for example, has a battery capacity of 5,600 mAh and an IPX9 rating. Honor Magic V5, currently the slimmest foldable in the world, has a battery capacity of 6,100 mAh. Even Samsung's traditional Galaxy flagships don't hold a candle to the V5's battery. All of these battery-related miracles have been possible due to silicon batteries. But now silicon batteries are reaching their limits, before Apple or Samsung could even use them. The Fold 7 excels in many key areas over the Fold 6, so I'm hoping that a similar level of improvement takes place again, and the Fold 8 gives the others a run for their money for a change.
