Pamela Anderson Responds To Meghan Markle 'Rip-Off' Drama With 1 Perfect Line
Pamela Anderson has no time for catty comparisons to Meghan Markle. The 'Baywatch' star appeared on 'Watch What Happens Live' with Andy Cohen on Sunday, and was asked if she found the Duchess of Sussex's cooking show similar to her own. 'On a scale from one to 10, how much of a rip-off did you feel like 'With Love, Meghan' was of your show, 'Pamela's Cooking with Love?'' Cohen asked Anderson. 'There were articles saying that these two shows were very similar.' 'One ― I didn't [find them similar],' Anderson said while shaking her head no. 'One?' Cohen followed up. 'On a scale from one to 10, a one. You did not see any similarities?' 'I didn't really look,' the 'Naked Gun' actor explained before expertly shutting down any drama with one perfect line. 'I didn't invent cooking shows,' Anderson said with a laugh. 'So I mean ― she's just doing her thing.' Anderson's show was released in February 2025 on Amazon Prime, while Meghan's show premiered on Netflix in March after a two-month delay due to the wildfires in California. Meghan's show and lifestyle brand have previously drawn comparisons to Anderson's show, as well as Gwyneth Paltrow's and Martha Stewart's empires. While Paltrow and the duchess unveiled a surprise social media collaboration to shut down rumors of any beef between the two, Stewart was a little cagier in her most recent response to supposed similarities. 'Meghan I don't really know very well, and I hope she knows what she's talking about,' Stewart said of the duchess during an interview with Yahoo Lifestyle. 'Authenticity, to me, is everything, and to be authentic and knowledgeable about your subject matter is extremely important,' the lifestyle guru added. Related... Meghan Markle Is Celebrating Her Birthday a Day Late with a Cheers to Latest As Ever Release
The Duchess of Sussex's latest rosé is described as "perfect for summer's end"NEED TO KNOW Meghan Markle dropped a new vintage of wine from her lifestyle line The 2024 Napa Valley Rosé is the second alcoholic beverage from As ever Meghan's debut rosé, a 2023 edition, sold out within an hour on July 1Meghan Markle is pouring more wine from her As ever brand. On Aug. 5, the Duchess of Sussex's lifestyle venture dropped its newest item with the release of the 2024 Napa Valley Rosé. A newsletter from As ever announced, "It's here — our 2024 Napa Valley Rosé." "With a graceful blush hue, the 2024 Napa Valley Rosé evokes the same effortlessly elegant notes of our debut vintage: delicately balanced, with soft notes of stone fruit, a gentle minerality and a lasting finish," it continued. "Reminiscent of the finest Provencal styles, this thoughtfully crafted blend is perfect for summer's end. Cheers!" The brand announced on Aug. 4, Meghan's 44th birthday, that the new rosé would become available to shop the following day. "Today, our founder celebrates another year (Happy Birthday, Meghan!) and tomorrow, we're raising a glass to celebrate our newest release!" an email newsletter from As ever said, revealing the details. "Harvested under the California sun, this dazzling vintage embodies everything we love – it's where timeless elegance meets the spirit of summer," the message said about the product. "We've worked thoughtfully to bring these exceptional bottles to you, and more of your other favorite As ever products are also being restocked shortly," it continued, referencing the shelf-stable food items from As ever's inaugural drop in April, which sold out within an hour then and again when the products were restocked in June. "There is so much to celebrate, and we're honored to share these special moments with you. Cheers to birthdays, a new vintage, and the last golden weeks of summer," concluded the note signed by the As ever team. Meghan had teased on her birthday eve that her upcoming rosé wine drop was "coming soon," and the 2024 Napa Valley Rosé is the second edition of the pink wine from the lifestyle line she unveiled earlier this year. As ever's first alcoholic beverage was the 2023 Napa Valley Rosé, and the offering was announced in the June 20 restock of As ever items. The 2023 Napa Valley Rosé became available for sale on July 1, which is both Princess Diana's birthday and the anniversary of when Meghan and Prince Harry started talking in 2016. Like As ever's other items, it sold out in less than an hour when it dropped in the shop. Can't get enough of PEOPLE's Royals coverage? to get the latest updates on Kate Middleton, Meghan Markle and more! A July 1 press release from the venture revealed future plans to expand in the wine aisle. The statement said that the 2023 Napa Valley Rosé "marks the beginning of As ever's thoughtful expansion into wine, with a Méthode Champenoise Napa Valley sparkling wine planned for the near future and additional varietals to follow." Charles ‘Fuming' Over William & Kate's Plans to Move After His Relationship With Harry Ended Over the Same Reason
The family dynamics in the British royal family seem to be the best they have been in a while, or at least moving in that direction. King Charles is still sick, but his cancer has been deemed manageable. He is on the road to reconciling with his youngest son, Prince Harry. The marriages between Prince William and Kate Middleton and Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are solid. So, of course, something had to happen to throw a wrench into all the good vibes. King Charles is reportedly not happy over Prince William and Kate Middleton's plans to move. The couple has reportedly decided to relocate from Adelaide Cottage on the Windsor Castle estate to Fort Belvedere in Windsor Great Park. More from StyleCaster Harry Just Got His Chance to Confront William in Person After Reports His Brother 'Absolutely Hates' Him With 'Every Fiber of His Being' King Charles Suffers Devastating Setback Amid Reports No One Knows 'How Much Longer' He Has Left to Live Related: Here's what each royal inherited from Queen Elizabeth But though the King's relationship with his son Harry was clearly affected by his and Meghan Markle's move to California in 2019, his objections in this case appear to be mostly financial. Rob Shuter's #ShuterScoop claims that the king is 'fuming' over how much the move would cost, particularly considering Prince William and Kate Middleton only moved to Adelaide Cottage in 2022. The new home will reportedly 'take millions to renovate,' and 'Charles sees it as an unnecessary extravagance.' The King has been trying to cut down the budget that the entire family operates with. However, Prince William and Kate Middleton are looking to move due to a renewed focus on 'privacy' on top of a need for more 'space.' Prince George's future is also said to be a consideration for the move—in a very particular way. An insider told #ShuterScoop that William and Kate have 'outgrown Adelaide Cottage,' as their kids get older, with Fort Belvedere considered the most suitable place for their family at this stage. According to the source, it has 'history, land, and proximity to Eton.' The last one suggests Prince George will end up attending Eton, which isn't actually surprising, all things considered. Fort Belvedere is described by The Daily Mail as a 'magnificent Gothic revival mansion' that is 'nestled in a hidden corner of Windsor Great Park' and sits on 59 acres. The 18th-century home has a tennis court, a private outdoor swimming pool, a rose garden, a greenhouse, private stables, multiple lakes, and three cottages for the staff. The estate was previously inhabited by William's ancestor Edward VIII, who ironically occupied it after he abdicated the throne to marry Wallis Simpson. However, that outlet also reports that 'no move is imminent.' Other recent rumors also indicated the couple was looking at the Royal Lodge, aka the mansion where Prince Andrew lives with his ex-wife, Sarah Ferguson. That would presumably be easier and cheaper to remodel for the family. However, it's said 'Andrew resisted pressure from King [Charles] to leave.' The couple reportedly even considered moving into a wing of Windsor Castle, but the area is 'understood to no longer be viable.' All of this comes as recent reports indicate King Charles is eager to reconcile with his son, despite the issues caused by time and distance. Pauline Maclaran, co-author of Royal Fever, said Charles wants to be part of Prince Harry's life. 'As a father and quite an emotional man, he is likely to want some sort of reconciliation with his son.' Where everyone will be living if and when that happens is anybody's guess.
