Advertisement On Saturday, Cleveland Browns running back Quinshon Judkins was arrested in Broward County, Florida on charges of battery and domestic violence. Further details on the crime he's been booked for are not currently available. He is still in jail as of writing and his initial court appearance will be on Sunday morning. "Cleveland Browns rookie running back Quinshon Judkins was arrested on a domestic violence and battery charge in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, on Saturday, according to the Fort Lauderdale Police department and Broward County arrest records," ESPN's Daniel Ayefusi wrote. "Judkins was still in jail as of Saturday night and scheduled to have his initial court appearance Sunday morning, according to court records." Judkins was the No. 36 overall pick by the Browns in the 2025 NFL Draft. He was a record-breaking running back Ole Miss between 2022 and 2023 and helped the Ohio State Buckeyes win a national title in 2024. Advertisement But the domestic violence charges against him have caused the support and respect that Judkins has previously had to evaporate. Across social media, Judkins has been either condemned or mocked by fans in the hours since the news broke. "Dude was so in position. On-field, off-field and fantasy. Then this," one user lamented. At this point he'll be lucky if he's even allowed to play football in Week 1, let alone if he's being paid the amount he wants. 2025 Arizona Cardinals training camp roster preview: TE Trey McBride
We will preview every player on the Cardinals roster leading up to training camp. This is about TE Trey McBride. The Arizona Cardinals report to training camp on July 22 and begin the process of preparing for the regular season, forming the roster and determining starting jobs and roles on the team. Leading up to the start of camp, we will take a look at every player on the offseason roster, their background, their contract, their play in 2024, questions they face and their roster outlook. This focuses on tight end Trey McBride. Trey McBride background, 2024 season McBride enters his fourth NFL season, all with the Cardinals. He was a second-round pick in 2022 out of Colorado State. In three years, he has become one of the premier pass-catching tight ends in the NFL. After 29 receptions for 291 yards as a rookie, he set the franchise single-season record for receptions by a tight end with 81 in 2023 to go with 825 yards and three touchdowns. He bested that in 2024, catching 111 passes, setting a new record, for 1,146 yards (the second-highest single-season total by a tight end) and two touchdowns. He was selected as a Pro Bowler for the first time in his career. Trey McBride 2025 contract details, cap hit This offseason, he signed a four-year, $76 million contract extension, becoming the highest-paid tight end in league history, at least for a couple of weeks until the 49ers' George Kittle signed a larger deal. He got a $16.75 million signing bonus and will make a fully guaranteed salary of more than $5.4 million in 2025. His cap hit will be less than $9.6 million. Questions he faces, roster outlook There is no question about his roster outlook. He is a lock for the roster and is the unquestioned TE1 in the offense. The only questions he faces for the upcoming season are 1) can he keep up the rate of his production and 2) can he take the next step and produce touchdowns? He only has six receiving touchdowns in his career and only had two last season. He did rush for a score and recover a fumble in the end zone for another, but to be one of the greats, he has to find his way more consistently into the end zone.
