In an interview with Lallantop, Jaideep Ahlawat, popular for his roles in Paatal Lok and Raazi, revealed that he was offered the role of Vibhishana in Ranbir Kapoor and Sai Pallavi-starrer. However, the actor turned down the offer due to scheduling conflicts.
'I was offered the role (of Vibhishana), but the timing didn't match. It required a specific schedule because Vibhishan's scenes needed to be with Raavana. Talking about his earlier interaction with SRK, the 45-year-old actor said, 'In all my interactions with him — in the five to seven times we've met — starting from Raees, where I shot with him for four to five days, and even after that, whenever we met, he always made me feel like I was the closest person to him. He's a wonderful human being. He has some amazing qualities. Every time I've met him, he's made me feel important,' he added. Apart from Jaideep and SRK, King will feature Suhana Khan, Abhishek Bachchan, Jackie Shroff, Anil Kapoor, Saurabh Shukla, and Raghav Juyal in pivotal roles.
