In a chat with Mumbai Mirror, the actor, who has been part of shows like 12/24 Karol Bagh, Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon, Punar Vivah, Do Dil Ek Jaan and Waaris, shares, 'I did Sankat Mochan in 2022, but in reality, my hiatus from television began after Dil Hi Toh Hai. I started feeling disconnected from the storytelling format of television, and that feeling only grew over time. I had been writing for TV briefly and working on my own stories occasionally. Eventually, the desire to explore different kinds of narratives led me to take a complete break from the medium. It wasn't necessarily a shift to OTT, but like many actors, I was drawn to stories that stood out.' He admits the transition hasn't been easy.
