Khloe Kardashian criticised for claiming her kids planned lavish birthday bash

Daily Mirror26-06-2025
Reality star Khloe Kardashian enjoyed an early birthday surprise when, she claims, her seven-year-old daughter and two-year-old son planned a party for her 'on their own'
Khloe Kardashian was left in a birthday daze when her young children threw her a Care Bear themed early birthday party. The 40-year-old reality star will become one year older on Friday - but already has significant plans this weekend.
The Kardashians star is one of many guests that have flown to Italy ahead of the wedding of Amazon billionaire businessman Jeff Bezos, 61, and journalist Lauren Sánchez, 55. The happy couple will swap vows at a lavish ceremony in Venice - and Khloe is just one of the famous stars expected to be in the pews.

Before flying out to Europe for the celebrations, Khloe enjoyed some festivities of her own courtesy of daughter True, seven, and son Tatum, two. The kids have been credited with throwing a party for their mother which was Care Bear themed - taking Khloe completely by surprise.

Sharing details of the event, the mum-of-two wrote on social media: "True and Tatum threw me an early birthday pool Party today! True and Tatum Planned it all On their own with my incredible team. We love @carebears."
And the message was backed up by her social media influencer pal Olivia Pierson, who shared a video clip of people in Care Bear costumes dancing. She captioned the short clip: "Care Bear early birthday for @KhloeKardashian planned by True & Tatum."
But fans have refused to believe that a toddler and a child could organise such a lavish party without their millionaire mother knowing. Ridiculing the star, one fan wrote online: "Does she think people are dumb enough and believe that her young children did this 'by themselves'?"
On Thursday, Khloe was papped in Venice along with her sister, Kim Kardashian - who was deep in animated conversation with a newly single Orlando Bloom. Stars have descended on the Italian city in preparation for Jeff and Lauren's upcoming wedding.
The wedding is set to take place over the weekend of June 27 - with a string of celebrations around and leading up to the big day as famous friends arrive in the Italian city to celebrate. But not everyone in the area is happy about the nuptials.

Furious locals have targeted the wedding to accuse Jeff of not paying enough taxes considering he is one of the richest men in the world. Demonstrations against the businessman have even led to a last minute change in wedding venue after it was previously cited to take place in Cannaregio - a popular and central nightlife area.
Reuters reports: "For weeks some local residents and pressure groups have been complaining that the event will turn the scenic city of gondolas and palazzi into a private amusement park for the rich, and threatened peaceful blockades.

"After the wedding ceremony, whose location and exact date remain secret, although it is expected to be between Thursday and Saturday, some 200-250 VIP guests from show business, politics and finance will now head to a hall of the Arsenale, a vast 14th-century complex in the eastern Castello district."
Khloe is believed to be attending the wedding single as she has remained single following her disastrous romance with Tristan Thompson who she shared her children with - and who famously cheated on her during her first pregnancy.
Discussing her single status in December last year, the fame hungry star told Bustle: "Dating has not been a focus for me, and I've been single for about three years and love it. But I'm not single and dating. I'm just single. I have such power and strength in that. I'm not lonely."

Terrifying moment tourists scream as fighter jet performs nail-biting low passes and aerobatics over Spanish beach

Shocking footage shows a Spanish Air Force EF-18 Hornet roaring over San Lorenzo Beach, its nose diving towards the sea before pulling up just metres from sunbathers. Holidaymakers lounging on the beach can be seen grabbing their phones to film the heart-stopping stunt, with several screaming in shock as the jet thundered overhead. In another clip, groups of spectators watching from a nearby hill can be heard raising their voices in alarm as the supersonic beast tore through the air. The hair-raising display took place during the nineteenth edition of the Gijón Air Festival, held on Sunday over San Lorenzo Bay in Asturias. Around 250,000 people flock to the annual event, which has been wowing crowds since 2006 and is considered one of Spain's biggest aeronautical spectacles. After its perilous near-miss, the fighter jet continued its flight away from the crowded shoreline, leaving shaken tourists staring in disbelief. But online, viewers were divided over whether the death-defying maneuver was intentional — or a risky slip-up. 'Very risky maneuver... is that allowed?' one user asked on TikTok. Another on Reddit suggested: 'For me it looked like he lost too much height during the roll and pulled up too hard, making him lose a lot of speed, unintentionally. 'Could be the perspective, too.' Shock moment beachgoers surrounded by smoke as raging wildfires in Italian hols hotspot Others, however, were left awestruck. One thrilled festival-goer declared: 'I witnessed that live and it was one of the best things I've seen in a long time.' It comes as terrified beachgoers in Sardinia were forced to flee when a raging wildfire tore across the popular Punta Molentis coastline. Holidaymakers dropped towels and sunbeds as smoke engulfed the golden sand, with flames creeping right up to the water's edge in the blistering 34C heat. More than 100 people had to be rescued by sea after escape routes were cut off, while firefighters battled the inferno with Canadair water bombers, helicopters and even an Italian Air Force aircraft. Cars parked by the shore were left reduced to twisted metal after the blaze ripped through a beach parking area, torching around 200 vehicles and a kiosk. Local media said a 'jewel' of the Sarrabus coast had been destroyed, with footage showing families scrambling to safety as thick plumes of grey and black smoke filled the sky. The Sardinia fire is the latest in a series of Mediterranean infernos, with Turkey enduring a deadly 50C heatwave that has already claimed four lives and forced 3,500 people to evacuate. Greece has also been ravaged, with wildfires sweeping villages near Athens and scorching parts of the Aegean islands after a week-long heatwave pushed temperatures beyond 45C. A blaze even tore through a northern suburb of Athens at the weekend, forcing panicked residents to flee their homes. 5 The combat aircraft was seen spewing puffs of black smoke Credit: X

Prince William's billionaire pal welcomes baby who will bare brunt of controversial rule

The Duke and Duchess of Westminster, who are close friends with William and Harry, have shared the name they have given their newborn daughter Prince William and Harry 's billionaire friend has announced the birth of a baby daughter, sharing the sweet name they have given the newborn. Hugh Grosvenor and Olivia Henson, also known as the Duke and Duchess of Westminster, welcomed the tiny tot and announced that the little girl's name is Cosima Florence Grosvenor. ‌ After revaling they were expecting their first child back in March, the couple announced the birth of their daughter in a statement, saying the baby was born in London, adding: "Both the Duchess and Cosima are doing well. The Duke and Duchess now look forward to spending this special time together as a family." ‌ ‌ Cosima is of Greek and Italian origin. The name carries a beautiful, elegant meaning and is derived from the Greek word kosmos (κόσμος), which means order, harmony, or the universe. Billionaire aristocrat Hugh Grosvenor and his wife Olivia married last year, after they met in 2021. The duke, one of the UK's biggest landowners, is a close friend of both the Prince of Wales and the Duke of Sussex, and godfather to Prince George and also reportedly to Prince Archie. William acted as an usher at the Duke's wedding in Chester Cathedral in June last year but Harry mutually agreed with the groom he would not attend amid his long-running rift with his brother. ‌ When the couple tied the knot, Olivia became the new Duchess of Westminster, which, in turn, garnered attention on any titles their children would inherit. As it stood when they wed, any offspring would be affected by a centuries-old rule that also led to Hugh inheriting the immense Grosvenor fortune, estimated at £10bn. Peerages only pass down the male line (known as male primogeniture), which means that the peerage can only be inherited by a male relative. ‌ Therefore, the Duke and Duchess's new daughter, under the current laws, will not be entitled to inherit the Westminster title, nor the family fortune and estate that goes with it. Instead, she will be styled as Lady, and if they have any more children, with one being a son, they would be known as Earl Grosvenor until he inherits the dukedom. The same rule also directly impacted Hugh, who has two older sisters, Lady Tamara and Lady Edwina Grosvenor. When their father, Gerald Grosvenor, 6th Duke of Westminster, died in 2016, the family title went to Hugh, his third child and only son. ‌ Hugh, who was once considered one of England's most eligible bachelors, became a billionaire when he inherited his title and control of the historic Grosvenor Estate aged 25, following the death of his father from a heart attack in 2016. His property company, Grosvenor Group, owns hundreds of acres of land in Mayfair and Belgravia, as well as major city centre developments such as Liverpool's One shopping centre. In 2020, the duke donated £12.5 million to the UK's Covid-19 relief effort including funds for NHS Charities Together and for medical research and development.

Wolfenstein 3 hopes reignited as live action TV show is announced

Amazon is developing a live action series based on Wolfenstein, as it continues to expand its roster of video game adaptations. There are so many TV and film adaptations of video games currently in production it's hard to keep up, between new seasons of The Last Of Us, animated Splinter Cell shows, another Street Fighter movie, an OutRun adaptation from Michael Bay, and many others. There's a chance some of them will not see the light of day (Netflix's take on Tom Clancy's The Division appears to be one such casualty) but Amazon, following the success of Fallout, has given the green light to a slew of projects based on video games over recent years. And now another one has been added to the pile, with a series based on the grandaddy of all first person shooters. According to Variety, Amazon is in development on a Wolfenstein live action series. While plot details are being kept secret, the official logline just about sums it up: 'The story of killing Nazis is evergreen.' The show is being created, written, and executive produced by Patrick Somerville, who has a pretty strong CV. He previously created Netflix's Maniac starring Emma Stone and Jonah Hill, along with HBO miniseries Station Eleven, which was nominated for seven Emmys. Wolfenstein developer MachineGames is involved too, with the studio's co-founder Jerk Gustafsson serving as an executive producer, alongside Jonah Nolan, Lisa Joy, and Athena Wickham via Kilter Films. If you're unfamiliar, Wolfenstein is a series of games set in an alternate history of the Second World War. The first two games by Muse Software were 1981's Castle Wolfenstein and Beyond Castle Wolfenstein, which had a top-down perspective and were a very early example of a stealth game. The games remained little known until id Software purchased the rights and made 1992's Wolfenstein 3D – the precursor to Doom and the first widely popular first person shooter. More Trending Today, the series is synonymous with developer MachineGames, who rebooted the series in 2014, with Wolfenstein: The New Order and its sequel Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus. These featured much more storytelling and social commentary, while maintaining a heightened sense of absurdity, and are presumably what the TV show will be based on. A third mainline game in the series has been rumoured for some time but never officially announced, and it's unclear what the studio is working on now following Indiana Jones And The Great Circle. Although they have hinted at a Quake reboot (also an id Software property) multiple times. The Amazon adaptation implies there's now a greater chance of a third game coming to fruition, if it isn't already underway. Job listings in 2023 suggested another sequel was in the works, and Bethesda's former head of publishing, Pete Hines, was very keen on the idea, but the poor sales of Wolfenstein 2 and its spin-offs has always left a third title in doubt. This Wolfenstein series is one of many video game adaptations currently in the works at Amazon. Along with Fallout and Secret Level, which are both getting second seasons, the company has green-lit shows based on Mass Effect, God Of War, and tabletop wargame Warhammer 40,000 with Henry Cavill.
