Want faster charging on Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra? Prepare to be disappointed.
TL;DR The Samsung Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra has passed by the website of China's 3C regulatory body.
The listing reveals that Samsung's upcoming tablet will have 45W charging, in line with last year's model.
A Samsung executive previously confirmed that the Galaxy Tab S11 series was in the works. We're expecting a launch window in line with last year's tablets, and it looks like the Galaxy Tab S11 range is a step closer to launching.
The Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra (model number SM-X930) appeared on the website of China's 3C regulatory body. The filing also confirms 45W charging speeds (15V/3A). Check out the screenshot below.
The 45W charging speed corroborates a previous Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra leak and is identical to the Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra's charging speed. It's worth noting that the Tab S10 Ultra took almost two hours to reach a full charge, though. Needless to say, we hope the Tab S11 Ultra spends more time at peak wattage to shave a few minutes off the overall charging time.
Other leaks point to a MediaTek Dimensity 9400 chipset, an 11,600mAh battery, and a waterdrop notch. So it looks like the Tab S11 Ultra could duke it out with the OnePlus Pad 3 to be the best premium Android tablet in 2025.
The filing also suggests that we aren't far away from a launch. However, a Samsung executive told us last month that these tablets would launch in line with the company's 'traditional cadence.' This suggests we'll have to wait until late September or early October.

Google Pixel 9 Pro, Pixel 8 Pro Price Slashed Ahead Of Pixel 10 Launch
Following the company's huge Pixel 8 Pro price drop , and giving away 12 months of Google AI Pro to Pixel 9 owners, Google is back with one last discount before the Pixel 10 lands. This story was updated on August 5th with new Pixel 9a deal details. Update below. This is the company's deepest discount for the Pixel 9 series yet. There will almost certainly be more after the Pixel 10 officially launches this month, but I don't see Google dropping the price by much more until next year. With that said, I wouldn't be surprised if we saw more aggressive trade-in deals, like June's promotion that paid out hundreds of dollars for years-old phones. Here are Google UK's current Pixel 9 deals. The star of the show here is the Pixel 9 Pro, which is down to £679 ($904.09). That is a solid price for Google's most powerful handset (the Pro XL has a bigger screen and battery, but the same 'pro' camera features). To quickly compare, Samsung's Galaxy S25 Ultra costs over £400 more (£1099 / $1463) even with the company's current £150 ($199.73) discount. Apple's iPhone 16 Pro remains, predictably, resolutely, at its full $999 price. Don't forget that the Pixel 9 Pro comes with one year of Google AI Pro for free. Google One subscribers also get 10% of the purchase back as store credit. It's not just Pixel phones, Google has also discounted the Pixel Buds Pro 2 by £30 ($39.95) (down to £189 / $251.65) and the Pixel Watch 3 by £100 ($133.15) (down to £249 / $331.54). Should You Wait For The Google Pixel 10? That depends on how patient you are. Google is promising an "exclusive offer' to people who sign up for marketing emails. I'd guess this is a free accessory or subscription for people who pre-order the phone. But even with pre-order deals, these phones will dramatically drop in price soon after their launch. Google has run some form of deal for its flagship Pixel phone almost every month since the Pixel 8. The price drops grow the further away the device is from its launch, as you can see with this Pixel 9 deal. Those discounts will start as early as October, especially as Samsung prepares to launch its Galaxy S25 FE and Apple's iPhone 17 lands. Update 08/05: U.S. Pixel 9 buyers aren't so lucky, the main suite of phones isn't on sale and likely won't be until after the Pixel 10 officially launches. The Pixel 9a is, however, $100 cheaper, which brings the price down to $399. This deal lasts until August 17th. The Pixel 8 Pro, too, is $400 cheaper, bringing the price down to $599. That $400 discount is a bit of marketing because the Pixel 8 Pro hasn't been $999 since 2024. Despite the chicanery, $599 is still a decent price for last year's flagship and it isn't much a downgrade from the Pixel 9 Pro. Read my story on that here. This is probably one of the last times you will be able to buy the Pixel 8 Pro directly from Google because it will be pushed down the pecking order after the Pixel 10 lands. Don't let that sway your purchasing decision, though, because Amazon, Best Buy and others will still carry it at even cheaper prices considering it is two generations old.

Tech analyst warns AMD stock has run ahead of itself as company prepares to report
-- Lynx Equity Strategies issued a cautious note on AMD (NASDAQ:AMD) ahead of its earnings release, warning that the stock's sharp rally may be outpacing the company's fundamentals. 'AMD's ~80% rise over 3 months has several assumptions built into it,' wrote KC Rajkumar of Lynx Equity Strategies. Chief among them is said to be the belief that AMD's MI350/MI355 and upcoming MI400X GPUs have secured broad adoption from hyperscalers like Meta (NASDAQ:META) and potentially AWS. But according to Rajkumar, 'we doubt if AMD has bagged share at AWS… Without AWS, AMD may be dependent on one key backer – META.' While some analysts are forecasting over 30% revenue growth in calendar 2025, Lynx warned that 'investors are yet to see tangible signs of MI350/MI355 adoption at hyperscale data centers this year.' The firm stated that expectations AMD will grow earnings per share to $7.50–$8.00 by 2027 and justify $200 price targets are based on 'hype built into Street expectations.' Lynx also questioned the significance of AMD resuming shipments of its MI308 chip to China, noting that China's internet regulator may apply the same import restrictions to AMD as it has to Nvidia (NASDAQ:NVDA). The firm's valuation analysis implies downside risk. 'Based on 25x multiple over Cy26 consensus EPS of ~$6, we think the stock is likely to test the $150 price level,' the note said. Rajkumar concluded: 'We think the stock has discounted multiple years of strong revenue growth and may have run ahead of itself.'
