Sean "Diddy" Combs is facing five charges, or counts. Jurors have reached a verdict on counts 2, 3, 4 and 5, but not the first count on the indictment - which was first announced after his arrest in September last year.

The scenes in court yesterday
As the prosecution and defence teams read the jury's note confirming they were split on the racketeering charge yesterday, Diddy's lawyers huddled around him - and the moment was captured by the sketch artist in the room.
The hip-hop mogul appeared dejected and at one point held his head.
As usual, his mother Janice Combs was in court to support him, along with his six eldest children. He appeared more upbeat as he got up to leave the courtroom, turning to them and blowing a kiss.
His mother asked about the verdicts, and Combs spoke reassuringly: "They came back with four verdicts and we're waiting on count one... It'll be all right, I love you."
Combs smiled, but appeared notably more subdued than he has been throughout the seven-and-a-half weeks of this trial so far.
He left court knowing a partial verdict had been reached but having to wait to find out what jurors have decided.

What is racketeering conspiracy?
Count 1 on the prosecution's indictment against Sean "Diddy" Combs is the most complicated of the five charges - racketeering conspiracy, which covers a number of alleged crimes.
This is the one jurors are split on.
Racketeering broadly means engaging in a criminal scheme or enterprise, and the charge falls under the Racketeering Influenced and Corrupt Organisations Act (RICO) in the US.
According to the US justice department's definition of RICO statute, it is also illegal to "conspire to violate" the laws, and this is what Combs is accused of, over 20 years from 2004 until his arrest last year.
Racketeering conspiracy is an agreement between two or more people to commit a crime, Judge Arun Subramanian has said. This doesn't have to be a formal agreement, but can be a mutual understanding, spoken or unspoken.
"You may, of course, find that the existence of an agreement to achieve the unlawful object has been established by direct proof," jurors have been told. "However, since conspiracy is, by its very nature, characterised by secrecy, you may also infer its existence from the circumstances of this case and the conduct of the parties involved."

Sean 'Diddy' Combs trial: Day three of jury deliberations - with partial verdict reached
Good afternoon on what could be a huge day in the trial of Sean "Diddy" Combs.
Yesterday, not long before the end of the court day in Manhattan, New York, there was a flurry of activity as jurors sent a note confirming they had reached a verdict on four of the charges against the hip-hop mogul.
These are two counts of sex-trafficking and two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution.
However, they said there were jurors with "unpersuadable" views on the most complicated charge - racketeering conspiracy.
The court did not hear the verdicts reached so far yesterday.
Instead, Judge Arun Subramanian encouraged jurors to continue deliberating on the racketeering conspiracy charge - which they will start to do today at 2pm UK time.

Just over seven weeks since they first sat down to hear the evidence in the Sean "Diddy" Combs trial, jurors have now reached verdicts on four out of the five counts against him.
They have been deliberating for about 13 hours.
There were tense scenes as the news was delivered to both the prosecution and defence towards the end of the court day today - but the hip-hop mogul will have to wait to hear his fate.
Jurors have been asked to deliberate further on the charge of racketeering, and will continue to do so tomorrow.

Judge asks jurors to keep an open mind as they continue tomorrow
The judge calls jurors back in again very briefly to thank them for all their hard work so far.
He tells them they won't need to come into the courtroom first thing tomorrow, but once all 12 jurors have arrived they can return to their deliberations on the racketeering charge.
Reminding them once again to keep an open mind, he wishes them all "a great evening" and says he will see them tomorrow.

Cops say speed was a factor in Sophia Hutchins' ATV crash as friend Caitlyn Jenner breaks silence on 'tough times'
Sophia Hutchins was speeding in the ATV she was driving when she rear-ended another vehicle on a winding mountainous road in Malibu, careening over a 350ft cliff to her death, investigators tell Hutchins, who was Caitlyn Jenner 's manager and beloved confidant, is believed to have been traveling at a rapid rate southbound on steeply-inclined Decker Canyon Road in a black and blue-colored 2013 Polaris 'side-by-side' when she slammed into a gray 2016 Mazda 6. 'It looks like she may have been speeding and rear-ended the other car, the other party, and then that caused her to veer to the right and go off the cliff,' said Sergeant Eduardo Saucedo of the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department, based at the Malibu/Lost Hills Sheriff's Station. 'It doesn't seem like she was following them. I think she just she came up on them and then hit the car.' Sgt Saucedo added that there were two females in the other vehicle, a gray 2016 Mazda 6. 'So it looked like she tried to maneuver to go around it, but she was going too fast and just ended up clipping the rear end of that Mazda, causing her to veer off and go off the cliff there.' The incident occurred at 11.30am on July 2, a quarter of a mile south of Decker Edison Road where Jenner lives. Sgt Saucedo said he believes the former Olympian, impassioned MAGA fan and supporter and of President Donald Trump attended the accident site while Sheriff's deputies were on scene. He said it would not be known if drugs or alcohol were involved until a toxicology report is provided by the coroner's office. A search and rescue team rappelled down the cliffside to recover Hutchins' body, who was pronounced dead at the scene. Both of the women in the Mazda were uninjured and stayed at the scene to be interviewed by the deputies. The driver, revealed Saucedo, was a local realtor who had been showing a house in the area. Speaking with the on Friday, Saucedo revealed that the damaged ATV had been left in place in the ravine because the 'tow company didn't have a line that was long enough to attach it and pull it up.' The same day, an emotional Jenner, 75, revealed to that she was going through 'tough times' amid her obvious searing grief. She spent the national holiday in mourning at her remote four-bedroom, four-bathroom mountain-top Malibu home, complete with stunning 360-degree views, that she purchased in 2015 for $3,575,000. Then in the afternoon, she was spotted visiting a local Starbucks on Pacific Coast Highway for a refreshment. This is not the first time Jenner has dealt with immense tragedy following a vehicle accident fatality. In 2015, she was driving a Cadillac Escalade towing a trailer with an off-road vehicle when traffic suddenly slowed ahead and she rear-ended a Lexus driven by Kimberly Howe, 70, which was already slowing or had stopped. The force of the impact shunted Howe's vehicle into the opposite lane, where it was struck head-on by a Hummer. She died at the scene. Four vehicles were involved in the horrific accident. Sheriff's investigators found Jenner was traveling within the speed limit, though possibly 'unsafe for road conditions.' She braked 1.5 to 2 seconds before impact, having eased off the gas around four seconds prior. The case was reviewed by the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office but prosecutors concluded that they could not prove beyond a reasonable doubt that her actions were unreasonable or negligent, so they declined to pursue vehicular manslaughter charges citing a lack of evidence despite the sheriff's department recommending manslaughter. Jenner had to pay $800,000 to settle a lawsuit and also pay for the plaintiffs' medical expenses and attorneys' fees. Hutchins featured heavily in the reality series I Am Cait which ran for two seasons. She previously told The New York Times that they 'were never romantically involved' with each other which Jenner has repeated. 'I don't feel a need to address my sex life, quite frankly, unless I want to,' Hutchins told the outlet in 2019. Then aged 23, she riffed on Jenner's superstar relatives: 'I'm on good terms with all the family, but I'm closest with Kris, Kim, Kylie and Kendall.' He was later sentenced to four days in jail. In 2012 he was also arrested for DUI after driving erratically but struck a plea deal that involved attending AA meetings in lieu of more severe punishment. However, after Madsen failed to attend his court ordered Alcoholics Anonymous meetings his probation was revoked. That same year he was arrested at his Malibu home after allegedly getting into a physical fight with his son after catching him smoking marijuana. The actor was being held in jail on $100,000 bail after being charged with child endangerment with cruelty to a child: a felony charge, which means it is considered a crime of high seriousness. He did not face any charges after his arrest for suspected child endangerment.
