#NSTviral: Durian seller wins hearts after treating children to free Musang King

KUALA LUMPUR: Three children hoping to buy durian with just RM15 were overjoyed when a vendor gifted them a prized Musang King instead.
The heartwarming encounter, captured in a TikTok video that has since garnered over 1.9 million views and 145,300 likes, shows the young trio approaching a durian stall and being asked by the vendor how much money they had.
The clip shows the children revealing their pooled savings—RM2, RM5 and RM8—to the vendor, who then surprised them with the expensive fruit.
The vendor, known on TikTok as @bala_durian, was so moved by their effort that he offered them an entire Musang King durian, one of the most expensive and sought-after varieties.
"You have RM15? Alright, hold onto your money. Here is a Musang King. No need to weigh it, no need to pay, it's my treat," he said.
He also asked if the money was from their savings, to which the children replied yes.
Impressed by their discipline, he praised them and encouraged them to keep the money.
"Good on you. Keep your money," he said.
The children, visibly overjoyed, repeatedly asked for confirmation that it was indeed Musang King, hardly believing their luck.
The video quickly went viral, with netizens flooding the comments section to praise the seller's kindness and humility. Many were touched by the way he treated the children with such gentleness and respect.
"Thank you. May your livelihood be blessed and your affairs eased," said one user.
Another commenter showed interest in visiting his stall to support the trader who showed such generosity to the children.
"Thank you for treating the children so kindly. Where is your stall? I'd like to support you."

'You're Only Embarrasing Yourselves' – Mixed Marriage Couple Hits Back At Racists Commenting On Their Baby

Subscribe to our FREE The year is 2025. Yet, there are still individuals who insist on making harsh comments about other people's skin colour. Fila, a Malay woman, and her husband Adama, a man of African descent, are no strangers to snide comments people make about their relationship. 'From the first day that we got married until today, we've been criticised by others daily. But we don't care. They can say whatever they want,' she said. Here's an idea of the kinds of inappropriate comments they've received in the past: However the straw that broke the camel's back was when they were blessed with a child, and certain colourist individuals began turning their tongues against the infant as well. 'The attacks have reached our child who is innocent, small, and still a baby. So you know when it comes to a child, parents will get sensitive,' Fila added. People have called the baby 'orang minyak' and suggested that it may not be Adama's child The couple shares a few of the horrid comments they've received about their baby Assara throughout the video, exposing social media users who appear to have no qualms about making racist remarks about a child. 'That's great, you got an 'Orang Minyak' baby,' one social media user said. Another individual said 'That's not your husband's child, they don't look alike', while another suggested they run a DNA test on the baby. 'Why do you guys have to say that? That's not nice,' Adama said before explaining how he and Fila took seven years to have the baby, and finally had Assara through in-vitro fertilization (IVF). Regarding the baby's skin colour, the couple displayed comments about how their child would look better if she had lighter skin. 'If it's dark, it's not pretty at all because the colour of the skin is what makes the body look clean and nice. Be grateful the child is not pitch black and follows the mother more,' one TikTok user said. Adama then expressed how he is happy with Assara, and that he would still be grateful even if she was white, black, yellow or any other colour. 'You think that you are humiliating us, but you are actually humiliating yourselves and your families,' Adama said. masuk2 dlm live tiba2 cakap baby anak haram. eh? kau yg perangai mcm haram. nasib taksempat screenshot sbb live kena banned. kalau tak sampai lubang cacing aku cari. ni baru expose skit comment2 biadab. byk lg. yg beriyanya, org dh block tp gigih g comment dkt video org lain pasai anak kami. kisah sgt pasal anak org apahal Share your thoughts with us via TRP's . #SHOWBIZ: Soffi Jikan hospitalised with dengue, field fever

KUALA LUMPUR: Veteran actor Soffi Jikan, known for his role in KL Gangster, has shared that he is "on the mend" after being hospitalised with dengue fever and leptospirosis or field fever. The 54-year-old, whose real name is Mohamad Shoffi Jikan, told reporters via a WhatsApp message yesterday that he hopes to be discharged from Sungai Buloh Hospital soon. "Praise be to God," he wrote briefly, "I'm getting better." When asked for a specific date of discharge, Soffi said he was unsure. The actor's recent hospitalisation came to light after a man named Hasyim, believed to be a friend, posted a TikTok video showing Soffi in the hospital. Hasyim noted that Soffi was first admitted for six days with dengue and leptospirosis but had to be readmitted after his condition worsened. "After three days, he had a fever again, coupled with chest pains," Hasyim wrote. Soffi himself later provided a timeline of events in a post, explaining: "Greetings everyone, I came back from Sabah with a bad fever, got dengue and leptospirosis. Feeling a bit better, continuing work, going for a shooting in Johor then heading to Padang Besar, Perlis. Also got a heat stroke, then got an infection and was admitted to Sungai Buloh Hospital." Following the news, many fans and well-wishers have taken to social media to send their prayers and wish Soffi a speedy recovery.
