The two stars tied the knot in New York in a small, intimate ceremony, attended only by immediate family, the actress' rep confirmed to PEOPLE.
Daly, 69, and Leoni, 59, first met in 2014 on the set of their CBS series Madam Secretary. They played husband and wife Elizabeth and Henry McCord in the political drama, which aired for six seasons from September 2014 to December 2019.
In December 2014, PEOPLE confirmed that the pair had been quietly dating since the summer of that year. Leoni had been spotted at Daly's performance of Red at the Dorset Theatre in Vermont over the Fourth of July weekend.
Their relationship came as Leoni officially divorced her husband of 17 years, actor David Duchovny, in August 2014.
The new couple made their red carpet debut at the White House Correspondents' Dinner in Washington, D.C., in April 2015. They were joined at the event by veteran journalist Bob Schieffer and former Secretary of State Madeleine Albright, and the foursome sat together at the dinner and posed for photos as a group.
At the event, Daly joked to Bloomberg TV, 'We're gonna be a hot table,' referring to his famous dates for the evening.
Schieffer chimed in to share how the four came to link up for the soirée.
'I called Téa and said, 'How would you like to come?' ' he recalled. 'And I said, you know, we'd love to have you bring Tim along.'
Days after the event, Leoni and Daly's Madam Secretary costar Geoffrey Arend told PEOPLE that the couple's off-screen romance even came as a surprise to the show's cast.
"I heard a rumor about it, and everyone was like, 'No, no way!' And I'm like, 'Maybe,' " Arend, 47, said at the time.

"Nobody really knew. You don't want to go to your boss and be like, 'Hey, so who are you dating?' So now I think we're all really protective," he added.
Arend went on to share his approval of the relationship, telling PEOPLE at the time, "He couldn't be a nicer guy. Tim's the best — they're really good together."

Stephen Colbert Riffs On Paramount's 'Big Fat Bribe' To Settle Donald Trump's CBS '60 Minutes' Lawsuit

Stephen Colbert riffed Paramount Global's $16 million settlement of Donald Trump's lawsuit, calling the payment a 'big fat bribe' and joking about the prospects that new owner Skydance will try pressure him to back off from humor directed at the president. In a clip from Monday's The Late Show posted on social media, Colbert joked in his monologue, 'As someone who has always been a proud employee of this network, I am offended, and I don't know if anything will ever repair my trust in this company. But just taking a stab at it, I'd say $16 million would help.' Trump had sued CBS over the way that 60 Minutes edited an interview with Kamala Harris in the lead up to the 2024 election. Many legal experts saw the lawsuit as meritless, and so did the Paramount-CBS' legal team, but the company needs Trump administration approval for its merger with Skydance. Colbert also said in his monologue, 'This settlement is for a nuisance lawsuit Trump filed, claiming that 60 Minutes deceptively edited their interview with then-candidate Kamala Harris last fall. Paramount knows they could have easily fought it because in their own words, the lawsuit was 'completely without merit.' And keep in mind, Paramount produced Transformers: Rise of the Beast. They know completely without merit.' Colbert added, 'Now, unlike the payoffs from ABC and Twitter, Paramount's settlement did not include an apology. That's good. Instead, the corporation released a statement where they said, 'You may take our money, but you will never take our dignity. You may, however, purchase our dignity for the low, low price of $16 million. We need the cash.'' 'Now, I believe this kind of complicated financial settlement with a sitting government official has a technical name in legal circles: It's big fat bribe, because this all comes as Paramount's owners are trying to get the Trump administration to approve the sale of our network to a new owner, Skydance.' Colbert also showed a headline from Puck. 'Some of the TV typers out there are blogging that once Skydance gets CBS, the new owner's desire to please Trump could put pressure on late night host and frequent Trump critic Stephen Colbert.' Colbert then pointed to his new mustache. 'But how are they going to put pressure on Stephen Colbert if they can't find him?' In announcing the settlement, Paramount said the 'lawsuit is completely separate from, and unrelated to, the Skydance transaction and the FCC approval process.' The transaction is still pending before the FCC. Some lawmakers, like Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) have called for an investigation to see if anti-bribery laws were broken. Superman discourse has already reached the playground argument stage: who would win in a fight – David Corenswet's Superman or Henry Cavill's Superman?

DC fans have taken the long-running James Gunn's DCU vs. Zack Snyder's DCEU debate to another level, as they argue over who would win in a fight, new Superman David Corenswet or Henry Cavill's Man of Steel. Warning, this article contains spoilers for Gunn's Superman, so make sure you have seen it before reading on. But first, read our Superman review. Zack Snyder and James Gunn fans have been head-to-head since the new Superman movie was still announced, with Cavill fans angry that the Man of Steel star wasn't recast as the hero, whilst Corenswet supporters were glad to see a new actor take on the role. Now that Superman has hit screens, both sides of the argument have entered into some rather petty clashes, including this one. The whole playground-esque squabble started when Twitter user FromSelinaKyle posted, "Cavill's Superman would wipe the floor with Corenswet's Superman," and the replies started rolling in. However, in the Gunn corner, a lot of fans came to Corenswet's defence, with one pointing out, "He escaped a black hole while half health and holding 3 individuals with his super breath, this feat alone solos Cavill's Superman." However, a Snyder fan clapped back, "Cavill's Superman literally did that. He escaped the Phantom Zone, which is stated to be a Black hole that pulls things into a completely different plane of existence." Round 2 saw fans debate whether Corenswet's Supes would have bested Ben Affleck's Batman, who notably beat Cavill's hero. "If Batman almost took out Cavill, David and Mr Terrific will mop the floor with him," said one Corenswet-backer, but a Snyder-head replied, "Affleck Batman can beat David Superman in hand-to-hand combat." However, many Cavill fans have highlighted how the new Superman movie starts with his defeat, putting him in a weaker light straight away. One fan said, "This Superman is pretty weak in comparison." But it is important to note that this was Supes' first loss in his first three years of being Superman, and he was facing a highly intelligent villain in Lex Luthor and his team. But at the end of the day, there was one voice in this argument who saw the light and said, "Sure, he could beat him in a fight, but he wouldn't do that. They're both the good guys. They'd respect each other like you guys should for them both… Cavill's Supes is still the good guy and would have 0 reason to fight HIMSELF." Meanwhile, both Gunn and Snyder are seeing the lighter side in fans pitting them against one another. In fact, the two directors even appeared in a recent episode of Rick and Morty playing parodied versions of themselves fighting over who created the best Superman. Superman is out in cinemas now.
