The Prince Charles Cinema will also be setting up an A24 pop-up shop with curated merchandise that are only available in the U.S.
The pop-up shop will stock screenplay books, collectible items and apparel.
A24 teamed up with the Manchester-based creative design studio DR.ME on the merchandise with a brief of 'do whatever you want.'
'The merch was inspired by the vibe of old-school uniforms from '90s U.K. cinemas — think the classic cap and two-tone color scheme. We also pulled references from vintage cinema ads you'd find in big newspaper spreads,' said Ryan Doyle, cofounder of DR.ME.
'A big influence was the Prince Charles Cinema itself. We loved the idea of making the merch feel really site-specific — like something that could only come from there,' he added.
A source close to A24 said they chose London for the project because they have 'always loved our fans in the region and the Prince Charles Cinema felt like a natural partner in an opportunity to surprise and delight fans in the U.K.'
A24 and the Prince Charles Cinema worked together on choosing the films being screened.
'Some of these films are our highest grossing movies of all time, are award-nominated or just memorable films that our fans love. And most of the filmmakers are repeat A24 creators, and have films coming out this year with us,' said the source.
Celine Song, Robert Eggers and Barry Jenkins have projects coming out with the entertainment company.
A24 has become an entertainment company with a cult following. It has produced controversial films such as Halina Reijn's 'Babygirl' starring Nicole Kidman to 'The Zone of Interest,' which won the Academy Award for Best Sound and Best International Feature in 2024.

New 'Friday The 13th' Movie Could Happen Sooner Than We Think
The Friday the 13th film franchise is currently at one of its most interesting positions in years. The rightsholders recently launched the 'Jason Universe' as a brand label to oversee new merchandise, the upcoming television series Crystal Lake , and new potential video games and movies. In fact, it was recently announced at Comic-Con that a new Friday the 13th movie was in the works, and now it could happen sooner than we think. As of this writing, no official details regarding the feature film have been released, but fans have started picking up on certain clues. In order to fully understand the situation, we must look at Crystal Lake , the upcoming television series that acts as some kind of prequel to the original film. This series is being produced by A24 but it's also slated to be released on Universal's streaming service Peacock. It's interesting that Crystal Lake is being released on a Universal streaming service, because it just so happens that Universal's Halloween Horror Nights will feature a 'Jason Universe' attraction including the new Jason Voorhees design. Universal is now involved with this Jason Voorhees relaunch in two major ways. Upon further inspection, the recent Jason Universe panel at 2025's San Diego Comic-Con featured an appearance from Atomic Monster EVP of Film Judson Scott. It hasn't been confirmed why Scott was at the panel, but the presence of Atomic Monster could indicate they're tied to a potential Jason Universe movie. If that's not enough, Atomic Monster recently merged with Blumhouse, which is another big piece to the developing puzzle. It's no mystery that Blumhouse has a distribution deal with Universal. Many of their films and shows have been released by the studio. Thus, if Blumhouse & Atomic Monster produced a Friday the 13th movie, one could see Universal being the studio to distribute it. And, if they're already distributing the new Friday the 13th TV series Crystal Lake , it would make sense that the Jason Universe label would have everything under this new roof. While this isn't confirmed, it's a scenario that makes perfect sense, and one that has an additional missing piece. When would such a film be released? As it turns out, there is an untitled Blumhouse movie scheduled to be distributed by Universal on March 13, 2026. This date also happens to be on Friday the 13th – the perfect opportunity for a mysterious Jason Universe project to be released. It might be wishful thinking to assume a new Friday the 13th project could get off the ground so quickly, but the turnaround rate for these movies has always been quick. After all, they nearly made one every single year in the 1980s – it's possible. Only time will tell what plans are in store for the Jason Universe, but if they want to relaunch the brand under Universal, all of the pieces are lining up that way.

Read All About It: True Tales of Men and Fiction
To the Editor: Re 'Attention, Men: Books Are Sexy!,' by Maureen Dowd (column, Aug. 3): Backpacking solo in 1995, reading voraciously, I met one of the loves of my life in Ubud, Bali. I was on a veranda overlooking rice paddies when Cherie, who was traveling with her mother, brazenly snatched the book I had my nose so buried in that I had not noticed her staring at me. It was a Penguin paperback, 'How Much Land Does a Man Need? And Other Stories,' by Leo Tolstoy. Cherie's eyes got wide, and I could tell she approved of my choice of authors, and my bookish interest in that collection of stories, to the exclusion of all around me. She told me that's sexy right then and there. We talked long into the night. The trip to Bali became ever better after that. Even her mother liked me. Lifetime memories. All because I was reading Tolstoy. Gowan McAvityBedford, N.Y. To the Editor: Maureen Dowd writes compellingly about men and fiction. Jane Austen of course is wonderful for men and women, and I read her voraciously because she is so good with language and thought. An added appeal is hearing the thoughts of a woman on men that we can all recognize: that our social posturing is just that, and a conscious female observer can see through it. I find myself far less interested in nonfiction. When I travel, I read a novel or a short story collection from the land I will visit rather than a travel guide — say, José Saramago before going to Portugal — because it tells me about how people there think, their worldview. It makes me feel at home and more understanding of the culture than any guidebook. Bill EslerChicago To the Editor: Maureen Dowd laments that men are reading less and reports, 'Women make up 80 percent of fiction sales.' Want all of The Times? Subscribe.
