Honor Magic V5 stars in unboxing video, here's what's in the box and how much it weighs
The Honor Magic V5 is still days away from being officially unveiled (it's coming on July 2, but people have been sharing their hands-on experiences with it already. Yesterday, we looked at some photos shared by Digital Chat Station, now Techtacle has posted an unboxing video that touches on the design and dimensions of the new foldable flagship.
Starting with the unboxing, the phone comes with a 66W charger and a USB A-to-C cable, plus a protective case. The case goes over the 'back' half and over the hinge too, but not the cover display. There is a ring around the camera that can be flipped out to act as a kickstand.

As for the Magic V5 itself, official numbers say that it measures 8.8mm when folded and, apparently, it is 4.1mm when unfolded. The camera island is quite prominent on the back, though it is reportedly not as big as the Magic V3 camera island.

Officially, the V5 is supposed to weigh 217g. However, in the video it tips the scale at 224g – perhaps that's a pre-applied screen protector adding a few grams. The included case is 29g, by the way, bringing the total to 253g.
The Honor Magic V5 is slim and light
In terms of design, this Honor Magic V5 is a red, gold and black combo. The spine (the hinge cover) has a 3D texture painted in gold, while the back is covered with red faux leather and gold trim around the camera.
The hinge is spring-loaded to help open and close the phone, but it can snap to 70° and 90° if you want to use the phone in a half-open state.
Honor Magic V5
Here is what to expect from the Magic V5. It is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Leading Version and a large 6,100mAh battery. It has a triple 50MP camera (though some reports claim the telephoto module has a 64MP sensor instead). The cover display measures 6.45' (and it's curved), while the inner display is 8'. The phone is also supposed to have an IP68/IP69 rating. Again, most of these specs have not been officially confirmed – the big reveal is on July 2 (Wednesday next week).

Oppo Reno15 details leak with major shake-ups
Before you hit up the comment section to inform us, YES, we are well-aware that the Reno14 and Reno14 Pro were only launched in China last month and have just begun their international rollout, with upcoming launches in Malaysia on July 1 and India on July 3. This is all to say that the Reno15 family is still a ways off from announcement. That said, it appears to be far enough in development for some details to start leaking. Industry insider Digital Chat Station has suggested that the Reno15 and Reno15 Pro are already being tested with 200MP main cameras on board. That's up from the 50MP shooters on the Reno14 line. Quite the potential upgrade. Both phones are also tipped to have a periscope telephoto, which is not surprising given that both Reno14 models have one. Reno15 info In a potentially more interesting possible development, the source also hints at a substantial downsizing for both phones. Allegedly, the regular Reno15 will feature a 6.3-inch display, effectively making it a 'compact' device by modern standards. Definitely smaller than the 6.59 inches of the Reno14. The Reno15 Pro will also apparently be downsized to 6.78 inches, compared to the 6.83 inches of the Reno14 Pro. Last but not least, Digital Chat Station claims that Oppo is considering new flagship hardware for the pair. We aren't sure exactly what that entails, but he does mention wireless charging and metal middle frames, so there's that. Source (In Chinese) | Via

Xiaomi Mix Flip 2 The phone's larger battery (5,165mAh, up from 4,780mAh on the original) promises longer battery life. The phone also supports wireless charging at 50W (more on that and accessories later). The Snapdragon 8 Elite has performance when needed but is also capable of running efficiently. Xiaomi Mix Flip 2: 4' cover and 6.86' inner displays The displays are the same size as last year – 4' cover display and 6.86' inner display. The crease on the inner display is very small, the best in the industry, reports DCS. As for the cover display, it was measured at 810 nits of brightness in sunlight mode, which results in good visibility outdoors. Xiaomi Mix Flip 2 Going back to wireless charging, Xiaomi offers magnetic cases that work with MagSafe compatible chargers and stands. Additionally, Xiaomi has built a portable photo printer. This CNY 700 ($100) add-on has a shutter key and can turn your digital shots into physical photos that you can share. A portable photo printer for the Xiaomi Mix Flip 2 By the way, Xiaomi also unveiled a new photography kit for the Xiaomi 15 Ultra yesterday – no photo printer here, not even a detachable battery grip. On the plus side, it is pretty lightweight at just 42g and still adds a two-stage shutter key plus a dedicated video button. Source
