If You're In Your Vanilla Era, These 24 Scented Products Will Have You Smelling Good Enough To Eat
Because please explain to me what's basic about smelling like lemon pound cake, strawberry milkshake, or vanilla green tea. 🤔
1. Eos' Vanilla Cashmere shea butter body lotion, which delivers soothing, lightweight moisture to keep your skin happy for up to 24 hours. The scent is absolutely heavenly, like being wrapped up in a sweet, sugary velvet blanket. Plus, tons of reviewers rave about how it stacks up against fancier brands like Philosophy and Bath & Body Works!

And if you want a complete Vanilla Cashmere shower routine, check out the body wash, whipped body butter, body oil, lip balm, and hand cream.
The Eos Vanilla Cashmere lotion is one of those beauty products that I always buy two of at a time because I cannot live without it. I'm a gourmand girl, and this literally smells like a warm cupcake. The texture is really creamy, it absorbs into my skin easily, and I don't have to worry about grease marks transferring to my clothes.
Promising reviews: "This is my second bottle. This lotion is life changing. I have never had softer skin. I am convinced that it is magic!" — Amanda Wilson
"Heaven-sent for your skin; a heavenly scent to enjoy. This feels absolutely amazing going on. Gets absorbed quickly, for a lotion rich with oil. Doesn't leave a greasy feeling, as long as you give it a minute or two to fully absorb. The scent is, for me anyway, like aromatherapy. It smells like an iced sugar cookie, and is a great base layer for fragrance. Very relaxing." — Dragonheart Jo
Get it from Amazon for $8.98.
2. Also from Eos: A shave oil formulated with the same delicious scent as the widely adored body lotion, making your skin smell and feel like a slice of heaven. It helps prevent razor burn, is nongreasy, and absorbs beautifully, leaving you moisturized and gorgeously fragrant.
www.instagram.com
You can also get the Vanilla Cashmere scent in a shave cream and pre-shave scrub.
BuzzFeed Shopping editor Daniel Boan says: "Dear reader, I have tried this and it is an 11/10. It's so easy to apply (it's more a thick gel when dispensed, but smooths out to a thin oil when applied) and my razor now glides across my skin like an Olympic ice skater. I also haven't experienced any irritation (which is rare for my delicate baby angel skin that freaks out if you just look at it the wrong way), and the extra touch of moisture left behind is a nice bonus. Also, I'm not sure if I've made this clear yet, but I really love the scent. Like, I want to cover everything in my life in this scent. I would like to awaken to a cloud of it spritzed in my face every morning. It is vanilla-caramel gourmand heaven."
Promising review: "I am absolutely loving this serum! It creates the smoothest shave I've ever had, leaving my skin feeling incredibly soft and hydrated. The serum glides on easily, providing a close shave without any irritation or nicks. My razor moves effortlessly, and I'm impressed by how nourished my skin feels afterward. The light, refreshing scent is an added bonus! It's a must-have for anyone looking to upgrade their shaving routine and enjoy a comfortable, irritation-free experience." — Shay
Get it from Amazon for $7.99.
3. A TikTok-famous "Soft" perfume rollerball that's captured the hearts of scent aficionados for smelling like the $65 Pink Sugar fragrance — while ringing in at under $10. This cozy aroma brings to mind waffle cones, lemon pound cake, and vanilla scones — and besides smelling absolutely divine, it layers beautifully, letting you craft your own signature scent.

Promising review: "Like so many, I found this scent on TikTok. I was a bit skeptical at first but finally got around to trying it. First off, this scent smells amazing! Almost every time I've worn it, I receive compliments. It has a sweet smell, almost like warm cake or sugar cookies with a hint of lemon. With such an affordable price, I would definitely recommend this to anyone curious about trying it." — Chrissy
Get it from Amazon for $5.97 (available in two sizes).
4. E.l.f.'s hyaluronic acid–infused "Squeeze Me" lip balm to drench your pout in hydration while leaving behind a sheer color, all wrapped up in the delightful scent of vanilla frosting. Unlike some pricier options (yes, we're giving a side-eye to you, Glossier and Summer Fridays), this gem offers a luxe experience without the hefty price tag.
BuzzFeed Shopping writer Emma Lord says, "I love love love this lip balm. I compare it to the $24 version from Summer Fridays, which I've been splurging on — I love that brand because it lasts so long and is so high quality, but this $4 E.l.f. version feels comparable and, more excitingly, comes in smaller versions so I can stock my totes and bathroom with them whether I'm at home or on the go. It's hydrating, lightweight, doesn't get sticky, and adds a perfect ~subtle~ gloss whether I'm using it alone or on top of a lip color."
Promising review:"I have one in my car, one in my purse, and one at home. These just feel so good on your lips! The flavors are very true to their name. They are pretty small though, so if you use it often it won't last long (which is another reason I have three of them), but for $4 each it is worth it. I sometimes like using this before putting on the E.l.f. Lip Reviver Oil. Such a great base to an awesome lip oil!" — Jax
Get it from Amazon for $4.
5. A Dove beauty bar with a delicate vanilla and shea butter scent that's a dream come true for those who find strong fragrances overwhelming. This moisturizing cleanser is pH-balanced and free from sulfates, parabens, and phthalates, making it gentle enough for even the most sensitive skin.
Amazon

It's a strawberry milkshake personified, but with an elegance that sets it apart from the usual sugary scents.
Sephora
I own this perfume in the biggest size, and it's already in my cart to repurchase when I run out. I did blind buy this before it was available in store so I didn't get a chance to smell it first. I was a bit afraid it would be artificial sugary smelling, but it's not at all. It's so sweet, flirty, and girly, but in a sophisticated way. You can layer it with other perfumes, but I usually just wear it on its own with a vanilla body butter. I get stopped so much out in public by people asking me what I'm wearing, I literally have to keep a screenshot of the Sephora landing page on my phone to show them.
Promising reviews: "I'm obsessed with this scent; it's so delicious smelling and it's long-lasting. It makes me feel cute all day long. Starts off strawberry and dries down to a sweet vanilla with a hint of strawberry. Highly recommend! 😍" — zeeafricanqueen

Bath and Body Works
It works in both high-efficiency and standard machines, cleans in all temperatures, and is septic safe.
Promising review: "Vanilla Suede is my favorite scent so far. I couldn't stop smelling the detergent before I poured it into the wash. It smells fresh and sweet, but not an overwhelming sweet. The vanilla scent is done just right and pairs so well with the scent of fresh linen. Whoever concocted this scent deserves a raise. It is absolutely beautiful, and I wish it was in a candle, hand soap, room spray, etc. It works so well as a laundry detergent and will keep your bedding and linens smelling fresh for days. Love it and will repurchase this in the future." — QTMouse
Get it from Bath & Body Works for $19.95.
9. Or Downy Toasted Vanilla laundry scent booster beads (which double as a fabric softener!) — just toss them in the drum before your clothes, and they'll work their magic during the wash cycle. The scent will linger beautifully on your clothes, ensuring you stroll around smelling like a snack all day.
www.amazon.com, www.amazon.com
Promising reviews: "I bought this thinking it was just scent beads and I LOVE vanilla scent, but it made all of my clothes SO SOFT and I won't be buying any other fabric softener ever again. This is the best fabric softener I've ever used. It smells amazing, clean and comfy. Definitely recommend!" — Alyssa D.
"This is the best scent of beads I've tried! Lovely soft vanilla scent. Will order this again and again." — Megan
Get it from Amazon for $18.97.
10. The cult-fave Tree Hut Sugar Scrub in Birthday Cake with a blend of creamy vanilla, baked cereal, sugar cookie, and fresh raspberry. This scrub smells so delicious, it will take every fiber of your being to *not* give it a taste. The exfoliating beads (which, adorably, look like sprinkles) gently buff away dead skin, leaving you feeling smooth and smelling like a delicious vanilla treat.
Amazon
Promising review: "I love every Tree Hut product I get, but this body scrub is my favorite. It is thick and in a way, creamy. The scent is accurate, it smells exactly like a birthday cake. My skin feels silky smooth as well. It is the perfect exfoliant because it doesn't hurt when scrubbing, but it is enough to get the job done." — Donna
Get it from Amazon for $16 (also available in a plain vanilla scent).
11. A limited-edition Living Proof dry shampoo you can use in between wash days to refresh and revive your hair — while infusing it with a delightful scent of vanilla, green tea, and citrus that ~lingers~ for days.
Sephora
Promising review:"I am extremely picky about scents when it comes to dry shampoos. I'm not into the 'powdery' or 'clean' scents. I don't want my hair to smell like fresh laundry when I use dry shampoo. It throws off my whole scent profile for the day. I tend to like slightly sweeter, more vanilla-leaning fragrances, but not overly-sweet gourmand cupcake vibes. I am also picky about ingredients. This dry shampoo is fabulous and I hope they make this scent permanent. Cleaner ingredients than most, excellent performance without being too drying, no white powdery residue, lasts all day, and has a great scent that isn't overpowering. I wish it were less expensive, but hey, I'm picky and this fits the bill, so whataya gonna do?" — AZsunshine93
Get it from Amazon or Sephora for $30.
12. Dossier's Ambery Vanilla perfume with an elegant scent profile similar to YSL's pricier Black Opium. This harmonious blend of mandarin, vanilla, pink pepper, jasmine, and cedarwood weaves together to create a fragrance that's both warm and invigorating.
www.amazon.com, Amazon
Dossier is a small business that specializes in alternative, affordable perfumes — check out the rest of their options on their Amazon storefront!
Promising review: "Gorgeous scent! I love perfumes, and I'm super picky. I either love or return. This scent is gorgeous. Smells a bit sweet but not overly sweet, not super vanilla, just a hint of it with sophistication. Very soft and sultry. I applied moisturizer (thin, thin layer of Vaseline) and then sprayed perfume. It stayed on my skin for probably over eight hours. I checked my sweater the next day you could easily smell it on my sweater. Definitely worth the money." — Amazon Customer
Get it from Amazon for $29+ (available in two sizes).
13. By Rosie Jane's Dulce Eau De Parfum if you've ever wanted to capture the essence of a creamy vanilla bean ice cream cone. This universally adored fragrance is a luscious blend of vanilla, chocolate, and hinoki wood that wraps you in a sweet, long-lasting embrace, leaving a trail so delectable, people will be stopping you to ask what you're wearing.
By Rosie Jane
BuzzFeed Shopping editor Amanda Davis says: "This. Perfume. Smells. AMAZING! I am usually a citrus fruit, summer-scent kind of gal, but this sweet vanilla is my new go-to. It smells ~adult~ but doesn't have the overly strong scent of many fragrances that make you cough (which is why I stick to the sweet stuff). The combination of vanilla, chocolate, and hinoki wood somehow still feels youthful, and it smells divine. Highly highly recommend!"
Get it from Sephora or direct from By Rosie Jane for $29+ (available in two sizes).
14. Sol de Janeiro's Delícia Drench shower oil ready to elevate your shower routine with the luxurious scent of vanilla orchid, sugared violet, and sheer sandalwood. This intensely moisturizing oil lathers into a rich foam, pampering your skin and supporting its natural barrier while providing a gentle cleanse. Reviewers rave about how deeply hydrated their skin feels post-shower — so much so, you could skip your usual lotion routine if you wanted to.
www.instagram.com
Delicia Drench also comes in a hair and body mist!
Promising reviews:"Ummmm, this has me smelling like a sexy marshmallow and my skin is so soft. I will buy this over and over." — careisluv
"I so didn't want to love this because of the price, but MAN it is so good. I got a little sample packet, made that last for three showers, and purchased the full-size. I live in Maine where it is bitter cold, so much snow, etc. My skin is dry in general, but during winter time, it is next-level dry — I don't even feel the need to put my body butter on afterward because my skin is left so hydrated!!! A little goes a long way! Price per use, for me it's worth it!" — Jaimeeeeross
Get it from Amazon or Sephora for $12+ (available in two sizes).
15. A line of body sprays that look and smell head-turningly similar to Sol de Janeiro. Sandalwood No. 2 channels that iconic Bum Bum allure with notes of caramel, pistachio, and vanilla, while Vanilla No. 4 is like indulging in a rich, nutty macadamia treat.
Daniel is also a huge fan of this: "I have tried the Sandalwood No. 2 scent and can confirm it is super similar to Sol de Janeiro. Like, eerily similar. It doesn't last quite as long as the original Cheirosa 62 (aka the Bum Bum Cream scent), but for half the price, it's certainly a worthy companion."
Promising review (for Sandalwood No. 2): "This smells exactly like Sol De Janeiro's Cheirosa 62 and for a fraction of the cost. You won't regret this purchase!" — Sarah
Promising review (for Vanilla No. 4):"This is an amazing scent! If you love Sol De Janeiro's Cheirosa 71, this is identical. Such a warm sweet nutty buttery vanilla scent. Put a huge dent in the bottle because I wear it every day." — Lexie P
Get it from Amazon for $11.99 (available in two scents).
16. An oil-infused Cyklar Vanilla Verve body wash, which isn't your typical sweet vanilla; it has a sophisticated, musky twist that even those less into gourmand scents will appreciate. The scent projection is impressive — one reviewer said they've received numerous compliments on days when they weren't even wearing cologne! It works wonders to soften and nourish your skin, leaving it feeling hydrated and pampered.
Cyklar
Promising review:"A n elevated vanilla body wash. Smells luxurious and is a great scent for any time of the year. It's my new favorite vanilla body wash. I can even shave my legs with it because it's so silky." — Chloe K.
Get it from Amazon or Cyklar for $35.
17. Phlur Vanilla Skin body mist, because every spritz smells like a batch of cookies that just came out of the oven. This decadent, comforting scent is your key to feeling cozy and irresistible all day long. It's perfect for all-over application, and if you're a layering enthusiast, it'll blend seamlessly with your favorite fragrances, adding a touch of sweetness that'll elevate your entire scent game.
Sephora
Promising review: "A true vanilla smell and lasts 'til the next day. It smells amazingggg. I've never smelled a vanilla like this. Usually, when I've smelled other vanilla body mists, I would expect it to smell like this, but they were just too light and synthetic smelling. THIS is what a vanilla should smell like: warm and cozy." — shshshgsshwjhe
18. Or — also from Phlur! — a spicy floral vanilla if you're looking for a light yet unforgettable fragrance. With a subtle sweetness that's not overpowering, this perfume strikes the perfect balance between floral and vanilla notes.
Amazon
Promising review: " Definitely a niche scent. The musky/spicy smell dried down to a vanilla/baby powder scent (which I like, but I know most don't). It wasn't overpowering, definitely good for layering. I placed an order immediately because I couldn't stop smelling my arm where I sprayed it." — Mackzp
Get it from Amazon or Sephora for $32+ (available in two sizes).
19. A Touchland hand sanitizer mist in scent Vanilla Blossom, offering 500 sprays worth of fast-absorbing, nourishing moisture that'll leave your hands bacteria-free and oh-so-soft — transforming the mundane (but essential!) act of sanitizing into a mini indulgence.
Sephora
Amanda says she absolutely loves this: "Aside from killing daily germs (which, as the main point of sanitizer, is awesome), it also smells amazing and leaves my hands feeling soft, refreshed, and *not* sticky like many other options on the market. I was so excited to finally get away from the strong, alcohol-scented hand sanitizers and love that this hydrates my hands, too. In my opinion, it's 100% worth the price (especially for my skincare lovers!). It honestly never leaves my purse!"
Promising review: "This scent is so good; it's the perfect scent for vanilla girlies and the perfect size to keep in my purse for on the go!" — bellapalfreyman
Get it from Sephora for $10 (also available in a set of three from Amazon for $30).
20. Mesmerizing Hard to Get Eau de Parfum from Forvr Mood that should be considered witchcraft because I didn't think it was possible to seal a lemon meringue pie inside a perfume bottle! The initial burst of citrus instantly brightens your mood, and as it settles, the jasmine adds a layer of floral sophistication. Finally, it leaves you with a lingering trail of soft, whipped vanilla that's both comforting and inviting.
Sephora
Promising reviews: "I'm so pleasantly surprised. I can't believe it took me so long to try this! This is literally spring and summer in a bottle. It smells like lemon meringue pie, sitting next to a vase, full of jasmine and vanilla. It is very sweet at first once it settles it smells fresh and sweet in a really good way. I can't believe it took me so long to try this." — 4everacting
" After purchasing the travel size, I quickly upgraded to a full-sized bottle and I really enjoyed this perfume. It honestly does fit that 'gourmand' vibe if that's what you're into. From the initial spray, it's very sweet but there is this 'deep' quality that I pick up on that makes this scent less juvenile from the jasmine note. I don't think this gives lemon cupcake to my nose but rather lemon tarte or square and spun sugar. You definitely get that more floral quality in the dry down. You get about 3 hours of projection and turns into more of a skin scent at the 4–5 hour mark where you'll likely need to reapply. I recommend this product, especially for the spring/summer season!" — vivi1233333
Get it from Sephora for $79 (also available in a travel size).
21. A bottle of Carol's Daughter Black Vanilla leave-in conditioner designed to detangle and enhance natural waves and curls. Infused with soy protein and vitamin B5, this hydrating conditioner helps revive dry, brittle hair, keeping your curls bouncy and frizz-free without weighing them down — and as an added bonus, your mane will smell incredible.
www.amazon.com, www.amazon.com
It was created specifically for wavy, coily, and curly hair, including 2A through 4C curl types.
Promising review:"Adds shine and manageability! I recently cut my hair and my texture changed and I had issues with finding products that would keep my hair moisturized. It promotes the definition of my curls and shine and allows for great manageability. It also has a great smell. I use this in collaboration with the Black Vanilla shampoo, conditioner, and comb-through creme. Right after I wash and apply the creme, I spray this over my hair and do a last comb-through and it adds that extra shine. I use this daily to refresh my hair as well. It has given me amazing results." — Charicka Tejada
Get it from Amazon for $11.87.
22. Josie Maran Vanilla Vibez whipped body butter so you can wrap yourself in a cloud of rich, creamy goodness. This luxurious body butter is infused with nourishing argan oil, so it'll transform even the driest skin into a silky smooth canvas — all while leaving you smelling like a vanilla dream.
Sephora
Promising reviews: "I absolutely love this product. I love it so much that I have bought several jars and refills. It is hydrating, it leaves the skin very smooth without a super greasy feel. It has a nice subtle scent." — MWill95
"I love gourmand, sweet scents, and this is definitely that. Not a traditional, sickly sweet vanilla. To me it's much more rich. The lotion itself is, of course, very thick and slightly sticky after application, but it dries down very nicely and leaves a slight glow. Expensive but worth it for a splurge!" — ren3202
Get it from Sephora for $36 (also available in a refill pouch and a travel size).
23.
A whole-body, aluminum-free deodorant spray to keep you smelling fresh while commuting to work or dancing outside at a music festival. This natural deodorant works by absorbing moisture and neutralizing odor-causing bacteria before it can cause a stink, and it can help cut down on chafing too. And as a HUGE bonus, you'll smell like a delightful blend of vanilla, sugarcane, and sandalwood — no one will guess you've just come from the gym or dashed to catch the bus!
Athena CLub
Get it from Athena Club for $12 (also available in a mandarin-orchid vanilla scent).

Or another aluminum-free option: A bestselling Native deodorant with over 65,000+ 5-star ratings — it's widely praised for its staying power, ensuring you breeze through your busy day without a hint of worry about unpleasant odors. It's formulated with a blend of coconut oil and shea butter that'll pamper your skin while making you smell a bit like a coconut macaroon.
www.amazon.com
The coconut vanilla scent also comes in a whole body deodorant spray and cream.
Promising review: 'This is the only deodorant I use, and I have been through dozens of brands, both traditional and natural. I have a skin condition that causes painful breakouts but Native has been a dream come true. The scents are lovely and the perfect strength. One day on a sweaty train I found myself wondering, ' What's that lovely coconut smell?' It took me a moment to remember that I'd put on the vanilla coconut scent that morning! The price can seem daunting, but for a natural, sensitive formula that's actually FUNCTIONAL, it's worth every penny." — Primrose17

People Are Sharing Interesting Celebrity Encounters And Secrets They Discovered After Being Face-To-Face With Hollywood Stars
Earlier this month, a Redditor asked the community, "People who've been around celebrities for work, what are some behind-the-scenes truths?" And the stories did not disappoint! 1. Pedro Pascal "Ahh, finally my time to shine: My sister has worked on all the seasons of The Mandalorian show so far and is also helping with the movie. Pedro got to befriend her, and ONE DAY, while I'm on the damn toilet in the morning, I get a FaceTime call from her. I answer going, 'Heeeyyyy bitch!' And what do I get in return? A very classy, VERY sweet, 'HEEEEYYYY BIIIITTTCHH!' from fucking PEDRO PASCAL! We talked for 15 mins and he was super fucking nice, man. He complimented my sister, we talked about his time on GoT, and then he peaced out to shoot some scenes." — u/Duvoziir 2. Jamie Lee Curtis "Jamie Lee Curtis asks crew members to wear name tags so she can greet and thank everyone by name." — u/PerspectiveNo1313 3. Henry Winkler "When my wife and I were in New York, we were standing outside waiting for a Broadway show, and Henry Winkler walked by. We waved and said hi, and he stopped and started talking to us. My wife was pregnant with our twins at the time, and we told him he was the first person we were telling, besides our parents, who already knew. He was so genuinely excited for us and stood there and spoke with us for another five minutes before he headed home. We got our picture with him, and then something else happened. About 5-6 weeks later, he was doing TV interviews at local stations. I work at a local TV station, and when I popped into the green room, I said, 'You aren't going to remember this, but a few weeks ago, my wife and I saw you, and she was pregnant...' He stops me and says, 'You're having twins, I remember!' It was one of the most incredible moments I've had with a celebrity, and I've had a few working in this industry." —Anonymous BuzzFeed Community Member 4. Megan Fox Jerod Harris / Getty Images for Uber "Megan Fox always had great breath, like, notably minty fresh, 100% of the time." — u/lmNotaWitchImUrWife 5. Jay-Z "Jay Z has incredibly soft hands, softer than you're than a very soft child. His hands are almost unnervingly soft." — u/Original_Campaign 6. Amanda Joy "AJ" Michalka from Aly & AJ "I once got into an argument with AJ from Aly & AJ. This was in 2017 so some of the details are a bit fuzzy lmfao. Someone who clearly didn't like her gave her a fake dictionary book that was used to store money as a birthday gift. She came into my store begging to return it. I told her she couldn't return it without a receipt, and she said, 'I'll take cash, thanks.' I repeated the policy, thinking maybe she didn't hear me the first time, and that's when she threw a full-on white girl fit. The item cost like $20, yet she was acting like it was draining her bank account. It got so heated that I had to walk out of the room. AJ's old ass boyfriend had to step in to calm her lmfao. She was incredibly rude and condescending. I let my manager deal with her snarky attitude while I was trying to decompress in the backroom. At one point, my manager came to get me because AJ wanted me back on the register just so she could put me in my place. She never got a refund. Instead, we just exchanged the item and gave her another one of those dumb fake dictionary books. I went from fan to hater overnight. 7. Paul Rudd Kyle Rivas / Getty Images "Paul Rudd makes sustained eye contact in a way that makes you feel like you're the only person in the room. But everyone in the room feels that way. The charisma just drips off of this man, it's wild." — u/lmNotaWitchImUrWife 8. Bebe Rexha Dave Benett /for The Gentleman's Journal "I knew Bebe Rexha before she got famous. I really don't have any dirt because she was always super nice to everyone. I was friendly with her at school and let her cheat off me in English. We snuck off a few times and she showed me songs she was writing. She always liked my music. She used to work at the MAC store, and I'll never forget one day she sat behind me in English and just went, 'Your skin is so emollient,' and I was like, 'I don't know what that means, lmao.' But it was a good thing; she was always complimenting other people. I never saw her have a diva moment or anything even close to that. I really have no notes. We weren't besties, but we had a lot of classes together and sat in chorus together. We were both sopranos. Wish she'd throw me a bone, but that's probably selfish and unrealistic. But girl, you cheated off me! Let me cheat off you! I'm just real." — u/parasyte_steve 9. Jesse McCartney Michael Buckner / WWD via Getty Images "Another celebrity I met back in 2017 was Jesse McCartney. He grabbed a few clothing items and politely asked to be let into the fitting room. He was super nice. I helped hang his clothes in the fitting room and closed the door behind him. Then a coworker walked up to me and said, ' Did you see Jesse McCartney? Damn, he got fat. He really let himself go.' I just stood there, frozen, mouthing, ' He's in there!' (Fucking embarrassing!). He definitely heard the entire conversation. I'll never forget the way Jesse came out of that fitting room, his shoulders slumped, and his whole demeanor had shifted. I walked him over to the register. He ended up leaving almost all the clothes behind and just bought a hat and a couple of shirts. Then, when it came time to pay, he pulled out loose bills and coins from his wallet. He looked at me and said quietly, 'I don't have enough,' and started putting items back. I could tell he was going through it financially. I told him, 'Don't worry about it, I'll give you a discount,' and he looked so relieved. It was honestly really sad. I could just tell he was hurting, and that moment stuck with me. Fame comes at you fast. I hope he's doing better." — u/Eventherich 10. Ariana Grande ROBYN BECK / AFP via Getty Images 11. Daniel Radcliffe Bruce Glikas / FilmMagic "Daniel Radcliffe hides at comic cons in full costumes. While he handed me his ID, I thought it was a Spencer's prop. He was dressed in a Spider-Man costume." — u/x65kos 12. Gwyneth Paltrow Ivan Romano / Getty Images "Gwyneth Paltrow brings her food pre-prepared most places in really nice glass containers. She then leaves the containers wherever she ate them and walks away. I had a set of her containers for a while, but I left them at my parents' house." — u/woolfonmynoggin 13. Jason Momoa Samir Hussein / Samir Hussein/WireImage "Met him at a [Comic] Con, in the elevator. I was in a wheelchair and looked up at him. My face must've done something amusing, because he looked down at me and deadpanned, 'I'm not that guy, I'm just a really good cosplayer.' He held it for a minute and then laughed really hard. He was a total sweetheart, and when my floor came up, he insisted on taking me out of the elevator, even though that meant he'd end up on a floor that wasn't his and having to wait for another elevator to come up. I squeaked out a request for a pic, and he happily complied. Nicest guy ever." —Anonymous BuzzFeed Community Member 14. Gisele Bündchen Harold Cunningham / Getty Images for IWC Schaffhausen "I worked in a garden connected to a property that had a ton of McMansions, and Gisele Bündchen had a home there, and her family would stay at it occasionally. I was alone and closing for the day, and suddenly she and her posse and children showed up right at closing time. I knew who she was instantly, but wasn't about to give her special treatment for it lol. So, as I'd do with any other visitor, I went over and kindly greeted them and let them know I'd be closing up in a few minutes. She pushed past the rest of her posse and loudly announced who she was, as if it were the secret password to letting her do whatever she wanted. Her kids then proceeded to go crazy in the chicken coops, breaking eggs and trying to grab chickens. While she had an impromptu social media photoshoot with an onion, she pretended to harvest it. She stayed a while after closing time, but I ended up not minding too much, as it was honestly hilarious to witness. No joke, it was one of the most comical experiences dealing with a 'celeb' I've had.' — u/hands_in_soil 15. Coolio Greg Doherty / Getty Images "Coolio (RIP) let me drink on his tab for knowing the lyrics to 'Gangsta's Paradise.' He told my boss to give me a raise. Also, he was rocking the same hairstyle as the music video, and that was impressive dedication." — u/thin_white_dutchess 16. Lastly, Donald Trump Bloomberg / Bloomberg via Getty Images "My father was a limo driver in the late '80s/early '90s. He drove talent for NBC and CBS. Donald Trump wasn't the insufferable a-hole he is now and offered my father a job chauffeuring his kids around. My father turned it down." — u/Soinclined2think Did any of these surprise you? "Best 10 Bucks I Ever Spent": 23 Phenomenal Things From Amazon's "Internet Famous" List Reviewers Wish They Could Give More Than 5 Stars
We hope you love our recommendations! Some may have been sent as samples, but all were independently selected by our editors. Just FYI, BuzzFeed and its publishing partners may collect a share of sales and/or other compensation from the links on this page. Shopping · "I can't believe this $6 product is better than the Nars, Bobbi Brown, and Charlotte Tilbury products that I have tried." —one *very* impressed reviewer after discovering this under-eye brightener Fun fact: Amazon has an "Internet Famous" section curated with TikTok-viral products. Here are a few of the current ones so beloved by reviewers that they are *definitely* worth the hype: 1. A sling backpack that checks all the boxes for style, functionality, and convenience. It's surprisingly spacious and has all the pockets you could dream of, and two of them are big enough for full-size water bottles. It's perfect for bringing along while traveling, hiking, and visiting theme parks. (BTW, reviewers say this fits perfectly inside lockers.) Promising review: "I would give this sling 10 stars if possible! Been searching and searching for a sling that will stay on my shoulder (a huge feat), is comfortable, phone easily accessible, has organization, is not too small or huge, holds water bottle, constructed with premium fabric yet looks professional rather than like I'm ready for a day in the woods. This is it!! An awesome bag! Can be worn as a sling over the shoulder or as a crossbody. Perfection." — Amazon Customer 2. A nifty gadget called the Bug Bite Thing because the mosquitoes are out and making their presence very known. This suction tool is designed to extract the insect saliva or venom left under the skin when you're bitten or stung and provide relief from itching. See it in action on TikTok! Promising review:" Best 10 bucks I ever spent! Oh my god, where has this simple, effective, ingenious device been all my life, and why hadn't I ever heard of it before? My 7-year-old got a bumble bee sting (yes, they DO sting and it HURTS). A few days later, I got stung by one. Then my 3-year-old got stung by one. Upon using this, it immediately stopped itching. I'd give this product a million stars!" — Me 3. An adorable pool floaty designed for your little future Olympic gold medalist so that they can learn proper swimming posture. It has four adjustable layers you can add or remove as needed to customize the float assistance and get the perfect buoyancy for your kiddo's swimming level. It's suitable for ages 3–12 years old, and they must weigh over 20 pounds. Promising review:"I've given other products 5 stars before, and if I could, I would give this one 10! My daughter is four now and always wearing a life vest, but I knew that she was ready to swim. I came across this while looking to upgrade her life fast and thought that, with the price being so reasonable, I would give it a shot. I could not be happier with the experience! She really wears the thing out too, using it three to five times a week and jumping in the water. It's so much better than a life vest because it goes with their natural buoyancy rather than encouraging complete dependence. If you're thinking about getting this, don't debate any longer — go for it, you won't regret it!" — ToddlersMom 4. A three-pack of vintage-inspired polarized sunglasses because you've been guilty of misplacing, sitting on, or stretching out your other shades by wearing them like a headband a few too many times. And let's be real — doing all that to a $200 pair of Ray-Bans just isn't it. Promising reviews:"I've been buying these for years. They replaced my Ray-Bans that look identical! Fit great and with the price point, I don't have to worry too much with my kids and being on the go!" — Jessica M "I wish I could give them 10 stars. So cute, made well, packing was perfect and came w accessories" — Chassie Price: $18.99 (available in 12 sets of three, as well as two-packs and individual pairs) 5. A heavy-duty Shark vacuum with a detachable canister so you can move freely from room to room, reaching tricky areas like stairs, blinds, and even those ceiling cobwebs! It boasts *impressive* suction that can easily transition from carpet and hardwood to tile and linoleum, with a built-in HEPA filter to lock in dust and allergens. Its two attachments — a wide upholstery tool and a narrow crevice one — can efficiently suck up debris before you fall victim to goldfish crumbs between your toes (a sensory nightmare). To give context for the photo on the right: The reviewer first cleaned their living room with a Bissell, then followed up with the Shark. You can see how much more dirt and hair the Shark picked up that the Bissell left behind. Promising review:"Holy mother of god, this vacuum is incredible. It sucked up so much dust and dirt from my carpet, it feels like a brand-new carpet and as if I've never vacuumed my floors before. 1 0/5 stars, would HIGHLY recommend this vacuum. A random video on Facebook of this vacuum sucking up glitter and various bits and sizes of confetti convinced me to buy this." — Maria Yuhas 6. A cruelty-free Catrice "Instant Awake" Under Eye Brightener making waves for its ability to hide and brighten dark circles. Your old concealers might start to feel a bit jealous of this one's color-adapting formula, lightweight feel, and seamless blending. To use, apply this in thin layers to avoid creasing, then follow with your favorite concealer and setting powder if you like. If you don't like applying products with your fingers, they also make a triangle-shaped puff that's perfect for using with this. Promising reviews: "I would give this product 10 stars if I could!!! This stuff has me in complete AWE!! It is a game changer, light, easy to apply with your fingertips, and looks AWESOME alone or paired with your favorite powder foundation! I'm going to be purchasing more and hopefully this product will be around a long time!!" — Cattipillar08 "I can't believe this $6 product is better than the Nars, Bobbi Brown, and Charlotte Tilbury products that I have tried. I didn't even set it, and it lasted all day in the 100-degree Arizona heat yesterday! I also have very sensitive skin, and this did not cause any reactions." — Charlene B. Psst — these are also available with matching setting powders for a more matte look! 7. A pair of scrunch workout shorts the gym girlies are saying is a copy of the often sold-out Dfyne leggings — and at almost half the price. Reviewers describe the fabric as thick, stretchy, and squat-proof, with the right amount of compression. Take this as a warning, though: You'll have to pick your jaw up off the floor after seeing how good it makes your bum look. Promising reviews:"Dfyne is always sold out, so I decided to try these. I put them side by side with my Dfyne shorts, and they're the exact same quality, just no brand names." — Anon "There are a lot of workout bottoms for sale. These are popular for a reason. The high waistband gives reassurance as you move through your workouts. I may experience slight roll down if I'm doing a lot, but it's nothing like what I've experienced in other shorts/workout pants that were horrendous with roll down. I wash mine in my washer/dryer regularly, and I'm not encountering any issues. I'm comfortable wearing these as everyday shorts, I like the longer cut on the legs instead of being cut too close to the booty. 100/10 would recommend." — haley 8. A power scrubber brush, which attaches to your drill to do all the hard scrubbing for you, saving your elbow grease for something else — like popping open a bottle of wine after a long day's work of cleaning. Useful Products is a US-based small business established in 2007 by car wash owner, electrician, and former bodybuilder Anthony LaPolla that specializes in drill-cleaning brushes and attachments. Note: Each color of the Drill Brush attachment corresponds to the type of bristles they have, and each one is best suited for a specific type of cleaning job (for example, the yellow brush has medium bristles, best used for bathroom cleaning — bathtubs, showers, tile, and porcelain). Be sure to check the listing for which color is best for your intended purpose before buying! Promising review:"Watch out sliced bread, there's a new unit of measurement in town. I used the larger diameter flat brush for 90% of the shower. Glass, tiles, floor, I drilled it all. I used the toilet brush-shaped head for corners and the slopes, and the smallest brush for hard-to-reach spots. There were spots of mold my wife and I tried to scrub in the tiles grout that we could never get out. After subjecting the mold to the unbridled power of my drill and these brushes, it went running and screaming to the drain. After ceasing my maniacal laughter, I stopped to marvel at the fact that something we've scrubbed with hand brushes for hours, literally, was clean in a matter of seconds. Since I cannot rate items 100+ stars on Amazon's limited rating service, I was forced to give this product a mere 5-star review." — Daniel Rose 9. A mess-free, reusable Bluey aqua art pad, aka the ultimate lifesaver for parents (or fun aunts and uncles) to keep little ones entertained without the mess while on road trips, in waiting rooms, or even just a chill afternoon at home. Just fill the provided brush pen with water and let them go to town! The set comes with one spiral-bound pad with four aqua art sheets, four story sheets, and the water brush pen. Promising review: "The best invention ever. If I could give this more than 5 stars, I would. These are the best coloring books ever. You just add water to the pen and they can color away! They're reusable and don't make a mess, so you can use them at home, in the car, without tight supervision. I can just give my daughter the coloring book and not worry that my whole house will be covered in crayon or marker. And the best part is that it fades and she can do it again and again!" — michelle kelly 10. A Bissell multipurpose portable cleaner because this little wizard is capable of handling all the messes life throws at you, from the spilled coffee stain on your car seat to the mark your potty-training pup left on your new rug. It's portable and has a large tank, which = more cleans in between refills. It's like watching a spell unfold, turning that mess into a memory. Each cleaner comes with a trial size of Bissell's Spot & Stain Formula, which is also available on Amazon for $12.99! Check out a TikTok of the Bissell cleaner in action. Promising reviews:" Wish I'd bought this years ago. Best thing for cat puke. It's really that simple. Use a good shampoo additive, and ta-da! Like magic. Works so much better than any other method. Seriously." — Charlee L. "This machine is amazing. Easy to fill the solution, clean with and clean out after. I would give it more time than 5 stars if I could!" — Jacqueline 11. A Revlon one-step hair dryer and volumizer (with nearly 400,000 5-star ratings!!!) allowing you to dry and style your hair in one fell swoop, which means you can hit snooze a few more times in the morning and still come out looking like you just stepped out of the salon. Unlike other hair dryers, this one can be held closer to the roots and scalp for a higher volume and lift and helps you curl hair at the end while it dries. It comes with three heat settings and is designed to work on all hair textures — reviewers with 2a–4c hair mentioned it working for them. Promising review: "I always read the reviews before I buy them. If I could give this product 1,000 stars, I would. Just buy it and see the difference to your hair. I have thick, wavy, shoulder-length hair. This hair dryer got my hair really salon-perfect. It cuts hair-blowing time in half and leaves my hair frizz-free, silky, and soft. Love this product soooo much that I threw out my blow-dryer and brushes. I now only use the Revlon!!!!!!!!"— Antonella M. 12. A fast-paced game of Taco Cat Goat Cheese Pizza that'll have everyone laughing all day long, no matter what age. It's pretty straightforward to learn, and you're able to pack it up and play it anywhere. It's perfect for family fun *or* a new addition to drunk game night — but don't be fooled by the cute design; reviewers call it "mind-bending" for a reason! Amazon It's recommended for ages 8 and up! Here's how to play: You deal all the cards out to your two to four players, and everyone keeps their mini deck face down. Everyone takes a turn putting a card down in the middle of the table, saying one of the words "taco," "cat," "goat," "cheese," and "pizza," in that order. If the picture on your card matches the word that's said, everyone slaps their hand on the card in a pile as quickly as possible. The last person on the pile has to take the stack and add them to their cards, and whoever runs out of cards first wins! BTW, Dolphin Hat Games is a small business that specializes in family-friendly card games! Promising review:" So much fun — I wish I could give it more stars! I have had such fun playing this with my 6- and 8-year-old grandchildren! It is easy to learn, but so much fun. Even better, it is a game you can fit in when you don't have a ton of time (it can be played quickly, unlike Monopoly, haha...). Quick-moving and hilarious — you won't be sorry you made this purchase!" — MiniDiana 13. A bottle of multi-use Bio-Oil ready to tackle whatever you throw at when you're channeling your inner Gordon Ramsay and have a mishap that leaves a souvenir scar, or your skin decides to go full desert mode, leaving you wondering when you moved to the Sahara. It's loaded with the good stuff (vitamin E, chamomile, a hint of lavender oil) to improve the appearance of scars and marks and hydrate your skin. Promising review:"If I could give this 10 stars, I would. Last year I broke both arms and had surgery on a few things, which left me with nasty scars. :( As soon as casts and bandages were all gone, I immediately started using this oil. I don't use very much, just a couple of small drops, but oh man, can I see a difference. I will always have the scars; nothing I can do to take those away, but this oil has changed the color of the skin on and around my scar to its natural color. Like I said, I don't use much at all — I purchased it a year ago and still have over half the bottle left." — Sara 14. The fan-fave Nyx makeup setting spray that every makeup enthusiast should have in their arsenal. A few spritzes of this miracle elixir will lock your makeup in place, preventing it from smudging, melting, or fading away. It's perfect for those days when your foundation seems to have a mind of its own. This personal makeup assistant comes in three different finishes — matte, dewy, and plump. Fun fact: The reviewer in the second photo said they worked a 12-hour shift bartending and thanks to this setting spray, their makeup still looked fabulous. Promising reviews: "If I could give more than 5 stars I would! Makes my makeup last all night!" — Jillian "Amazing makeup setting spray. I was very skeptical at first because it looked too good to be true for the price, but this little bottle works like magic. I apply my makeup early in the morning, and it lasts the whole day without melting down. Even in the warmest days, my face is never shiny or oiled, and I tend to sweat a lot on my face. I have very sensitive skin and suffer from rosacea, and this product does not irritate my skin. I'm sold. Already bought a second one for my makeup bag." – Feisty Shopper 15. A clear stadium bag perfectly sized to fit all your essentials: your phone, ID, credit cards, a small bottle of sunblock, and even a mini fan to keep you cool when you're dancing your heart out at all those upcoming music festivals. Promising review:"Bought for concerts and festivals — holds everything needed and then some! Nice thick and flexible clear plastic with very strong stitching and a very comfortable adjustable strap! I went to a festival, and there were some massive torrential downpours that sprung up. I was pretty well soaked to the skin. NOTHING inside the bag got wet at all! Not in the outside pocket nor in the main bag compartment! Absolutely giving this bag 5 stars, and would give it 10 if I could!" — Leeta Nor 16. Kitsch's overnight heatless curls set capable of creating dreamy curls while you catch some z's. Imagine going to bed with your hair wrapped up in a super soft rod, only to wake up with curls that are nothing short of fabulous. And here's the kicker: It's all done without an ounce of heat. This product is designed for use on all hair types! Promising review:"I had low expectations for this product to work because curls from a curling iron fall out of my hair pretty immediately. I was blown away by how well these heatless curls turned out, though! It's easy enough to do, but there's a bit of a learning curve to getting the curls tightly wrapped. It takes less than 10 minutes, and my hair is ready to go when I wake up. I'm a side sleeper and find it a tad uncomfortable to sleep on, but it's a small price to pay for curls that last all day, in my opinion. I'd give this 10 stars if I could — truly a game changer that's made my mornings so much easier." — Stephanie 17. Levi's Cinch Baggy Jeans to solve the age-old problem with denim shopping: that ANNOYING waist gap. These have a built-in cinch band, letting you bring in the waist for a customized fit that feels tailored just for you. And they offer just the right amount of stretch, moving with you so you can enjoy both style and comfort without feeling restricted. Promising reviews: "If I could give them 1,000 stars, I would! I have been on the hunt for jeans for so long, and I finally found them." — Zoë Van den Berg "This is one of my favorite pairs of jeans. I have been looking for something in this fit for some time now. I am usually a 32 and quite curvy, which causes waist gaps in most jeans. So I ordered the 32 and 33. They both fit quite well. I went with the 33 because it's longer and more roomy around my hips, and gives me the baggy fit I wanted. The cinch waist allowed me to tighten the waist. It really is perfect, and I just ordered this in another color." — Peace 18. E.l.f.'s Halo Glow Liquid Filter that not only serves as a radiant, blurring primer but also mixes seamlessly with your moisturizer or foundation for that "I woke up like this" glow. And for those days you're feeling extra, a little dab on top of your makeup makes for the most natural-looking highlight. But wait, there's more! It's packed with hyaluronic acid and squalane, which means your skin gets a delicious drink of hydration every time you wear it. Promising reviews: "With this, I can just skip the primer and even the moisturizer (but I still try to at least get some sunscreen in there, which we all know is very important), which saves me a ton of time and also allows me to be able to go out to run errands, etc. without worrying about my makeup/skin/how I look! And for such an affordable price, it's a very rare value!! Believe me, please, when I say that this product is true 'magic-in-a-bottle' that smashes all those other similar products to bits!" — Tami "100 stars!! Perfect as a base for your foundation if you're going for the glass skin look. Leaves a dewy finish and feels great." — Shelly Melanson (Magner) 19. A bottle of Paula's Choice salicylic acid liquid exfoliant useful for clearing out pores and evening your skin's texture and tone. It's gentle enough to use daily, unlike those other gritty face scrubs that feel like you're sandblasting your skin. Promising review: "12 out of 10 stars. Wow, just wow! I waited two weeks to post, and my skin has totally transformed in those two weeks. My dark spots are nearly gone, pores are definitely less visible, and my skin just feels so clean and clear. I notice a huge difference when applying makeup now. I use it with a toner, and I use it only at night, just because I'm not great at applying SPF during the day. This will definitely be a part of my skincare routine now." — Lauren 20. Kinetic Sand, a delightful sensory toy that brings the beach right to your fingertips, minus the sunburn and sand in weird places. It flows through your fingers like regular sand, but here's the twist: It sticks together and holds its shape like some kind of enchanted clay. You won't have to worry about a messy cleanup, and it never dries out! Promising reviews: "I would rate this 10 stars if I could. The entertainment value is impeccable! It entertains my 2-year-old toddler for hours! The quality and design of it are perfect! I have recommended this so all my friends with toddlers. It's a great sensory toy!" — Amber Goolsby "This stuff is great! I got it for my grandchildren. No mess, smell and easy to clean up! It's like magic. I liked playing with it too. It's great for if you need physical therapy for your hands." — Van 21. Color Wow's "Raise The Root" thickening and lifting spray so you can get (and keep) instant volume and body-ody-ody during these humid summer days. It works by acting like a spring at the roots of each strand, giving your mane that extra oomph without weighing it down. For that va-va-voom look, simply spray this product onto your damp *or* dry locks, focusing on the roots. Style your hair as you wish, and lock in the volume by using a blow-dryer for results that last all day. Promising review: "If I could give this product 10 stars, I would! I have a cowlick at the crown of my head that I struggle with daily. Saw this product and bought the small one to give it a try. Oh my gosh, it works!!!' Even the next morning (which, after sleeping, is at its worst), and it was still covered, I was shocked. Now I wish I had bought the bigger bottle. Truly the best product for this reason I've ever used, and I'm a hairdresser, and I've tried many, many products. Highly recommend." — Jillian Feltz 22. A handy tri-fold mirror that hangs right on your bathroom door, giving you a 360-degree view of your gorgeous self while you snip those split ends, touch up your roots, or braid your hair. Promising reviews:"The mirror is very easy to set up and perfect for its price! It's portable, nice, and of good quality. 100/10." — Oracio Lopez "This has helped me so much to do my root touch-ups and toning at home. I can see better the sides and back of my head. The size is perfect, and the height is adjustable. It's folds conveniently into a thin mirror, making it easy for me to store in my small bathroom cabinet." — Jenny G 23. A jar of 40% urea cream if the skin on your feet is A) thick, B) rough, C) cracked, or all of the above. This cream helps slough away corns, calluses, and dry patches while bringing your ~sole~ back to life with some much-needed rehydration. You can use it on feet, elbows, knees, and hands. It's made from natural ingredients such as aloe vera, safflower oil, chamomile, and tea tree oil. Promising review:"First off, I NEVER write reviews. But this is such a miracle product, I had to say something. I have had the hardest, driest feet with major cracking for almost my whole life (nearly 50 years!). I have tried numerous products. I pretty much had given up. But then my neighbor recommended this cream. I was skeptical at first, but after using it for about a month, I could not believe the change! My feet are SO MUCH BETTER! Not the hard, cracking feet anymore! Even my nail tech shakes his head in disbelief every time he sees my feet. He just can't believe it! He now recommends this to his clients! I use it 5-7 nights a week. Put the cream on the feet, put on some socks, and leave it all night while I sleep. I cannot stress how big of a miracle this stuff is!! I am still in shock at how good it is! I wish I had before pictures, but it was REALLY BAD!! Not anymore!!!! I would have given this 10 stars if I could!" — Shari Curley
