Mahindra Singh Dhoni was honored by the Jharkhand State Cricket Association for his induction into the ICC Hall of Fame.
Mahindra Singh Dhoni was honoured by the Jharkhand State Cricket Association (JSCA) in a special ceremony on Tuesday, June 10, on being inducted into the ICC Hall of Fame.
JSCA president Ajay Nath Shahdeo, Vice President Sanjay Pandey, Secretary Saurabh Tiwari, Treasurer Amitava Ghosh were in attendance at the event.
'Heartiest congratulations to #Mahi @mahi7781 on his #ICCHallOfFame induction! Had the pleasure of meeting him and celebrating this remarkable achievement. Wishing #Mahi continued success and admiration from fans worldwide!" JSCA president Ajay Nath Shahdeo posted on Instagram, along with a photograph of him presenting Dhoni with a flower bouquet.

Dhoni became the 11th Indian cricketer to be inducted.
Dhoni was joined by Australian batting great Matthew Hayden, South African duo Graeme Smith and Hashim Amla, and former New Zealand skipper Daniel Vettori as five men's cricketers were added to the list. Also inducted into the elite group were former England wicketkeeper-batter Sarah Taylor and ex-Pakistan captain Sana Mir.
The ICC praised Dhoni as a player who excelled not just in numbers but also in 'extraordinary consistency, fitness, and longevity".
Dhoni, who led India to the T20 World Cup win in 2007, the ODI World Cup victory in 2011, and the Champions Trophy in 2013, said in a statement shared by ICC: 'It is an honour to be named in the ICC Hall of Fame, which recognises the contributions of cricketers across generations and from all over the world. To have your name remembered alongside such all-time greats is a wonderful feeling. It is something that I will cherish forever."

India's Pratika Rawal, England team fined for breaching ICCs Code of Conduct after 1st ODI
Dubai, Jul 18 (PTI) India batter Pratika Rawal and the England team were on Friday fined for breaching ICC's Code Of Conduct after the conclusion of their opening ODI of the three-match series in Southampton. Rawal was handed a fine of 10 per cent of her match fee and given one demerit point for a Level 1 breach, concerning two separate incidents. Rawal was found guilty of making 'avoidable physical contact' with England bowler Lauren Filer during the 18th over and with Sophie Ecclestone in the following over. 'The Indian opener was penalised for two separate incidents that took place within a short period of time,' the ICC said on its website. 'In the 18th over, she made avoidable physical contact with bowler Lauren Filer while taking a single, and after being dismissed in the next over, she made similar avoidable contact with bowler Sophie Ecclestone on her way back to the dressing room,' it added. One demerit point was thus added to Rawal's record for it being her first offence in a 24-month period. India, who had clinched the five-match T20I series earlier, won the opening ODI by four wickets to take a 1-0 lead. The ICC said it has fined England team of five per cent of their match fee for maintaining a slow over-rate as they were found 'one over short of the target after time allowances were taken into consideration'. 'In accordance with Article 2.22 of the ICC Code of Conduct for Players and Player Support Personnel, which relates to minimum over-rate offences, players are fined five per cent of their match fee for every over their side fails to bowl in the allotted time,' the ICC said. It added, 'Rawal and England captain Nat Sciver-Brunt accepted their respective sanctions imposed by match referee Sarah Bartlett, so there was no need for a formal hearing.'

However, through patience and grit, Jadeja managed to build a partnership with Bumrah and Siraj later to take India closer to the target. Although both Bumrah and Siraj fell, Jadeja remained unbeaten till the end as India lost the game by 22 runs. 'Coming to the final moments, Ravindra Jadeja is someone I've known since his U-19 days at the National Cricket Academy. Even back then, he showed maturity beyond his age. He's a smart cricketer, calm under pressure, but this time, maybe the fear of failing, or the pressure of not trusting the tail, got the better of him,' Former India cricketer Balwinder Singh Sandhu in his Mid-Day column. 'If only he had trusted Jasprit Bumrah a bit more – especially when Bumrah was defending so well – and resisted taking that single off the fourth ball to retain strike. Had he backed himself to finish it in those last two balls, with the field up, it was a perfect moment to go for the boundary,' he added. Another Indian cricketer, Cheteshwar Pujara, supported Jadeja. 'He couldn't have scored faster on that track. I felt that it was because the ball was soft, and the pitch was on the slower side. I guess, Jadeja would have thought that the tailenders were batting well and the team was getting close to the total. And once they were a little closer he would have taken his chances. I thought he was batting well. It was very difficult to score runs on that pitch,' says Pujara. 'The only thing he could have done better is to look to score down the ground. Like there was a gap between mid-off and cover,' Pujara said Jadeja could have done differently.
