Hope Hicks, a former top aide to President Trump, is joining forces with Megyn Kelly to help the podcasting star grow her burgeoning media empire, The Post has learned.

'Hope Hicks is exactly the kind of woman I want running my company with me — strong, smart, strategic and the embodiment of class and poise,' Kelly said in a statement obtained exclusively by The Post.

Hicks, who worked for the Trump Organization before serving as press secretary for Trump's first White House campaign in 2016, has been running her own media consulting company the past four years
The Greenwich, Conn., native was hired as the White House communications director following the Republican's stunning victory over Hillary Clinton and became one of Trump's most trusted advisers.
She stepped down in 2018 but returned in 2020 to serve as counselor to the president until 2021.
In between her White House stints, Hicks joined Fox Corp. as Executive Vice President and Chief Communications Officer.

Kelly first got to know Hicks during Trump's first run to the White House. The anchor famously traded barbs with him in 2015 while moderating a GOP presidential debate for Fox News.
She pressed the then-longshot Republican candidate about misogynistic, sexist comments he made in the past, such as calling some women 'fat pigs, dogs, slobs, and disgusting animals.'
The heated exchange led to Trump's notorious comment to Don Lemon, who was then an anchor at CNN, telling him that Kelly had 'blood coming out of her eyes, blood coming out of her… wherever.'

Nonetheless, Kelly supported Trump's return to the White House.
She recently told Stephen A. Smith on his Sirius show about how she's been able to 'check' her 'personal feelings' about Trump and that she's '100% rooting' for the president.

Internet Chicks and Their Impact on Online Culture

The internet is a vast, dynamic space where identities, trends, and movements emerge and thrive. One such phenomenon that has gained traction in online communities is the concept of internet chicks. These individuals are shaping digital culture and carving out niche spaces in ways that are both fascinating and influential. But what exactly are internet chicks, and why do they matter in today's digital conversations? This blog takes a deep dive into the cultural significance, characteristics, and impact of internet chicks on the virtual world. The term internetchicks typically refers to women who have built substantial personas, followings, or trends within online spaces. These individuals often engage with their audience through social media platforms, streaming sites, blogs, or forums. They may not be global celebrities but hold considerable sway over niche communities. Internet chicks can be influencers, content creators, gamers, or advocates for causes. What sets them apart is their authenticity, relatability, and ability to connect with their audience. They craft unique perspectives and often pioneer trends that resonate deeply within their circles. Internet chicks thrive on being genuine. Their ability to share relatable experiences, struggles, or victories makes them particularly endearing. Whether it's editing videos, building a brand on Instagram, or creating viral TikToks, internet chicks often succeed thanks to their savvy use of technology. A defining trait is how they interact with their communities. Be it through live Q&A sessions, responding to comments, or hosting giveaways, they build a sense of belonging. Many internet chicks create content tailored to specific interests—whether that's gaming, fitness, fashion, mental health, or feminism. This specificity attracts highly engaged audiences. Internet chicks play a vital role in shaping pop culture and influencing societal narratives. Whether it's through introducing new slang, championing inclusivity, or sparking movements, their presence online goes beyond entertainment. Driving Pop Culture Trends From TikTok dances to unique visual aesthetics, internet chicks are often the creators or amplifiers of trends. These trends frequently jump from social media into mainstream culture, influencing music, fashion, and advertising. Many internet chicks utilize their platforms to advocate for social and political causes. They draw attention to issues like body positivity, mental health awareness, and environmental conservation. Their influence transforms followers into advocates. Redefining Representation Historically, women's roles in media have been limited. Internet chicks break this mold by creating spaces where women express themselves authentically and enjoy visibility on their terms. This shifts the narrative around female representation in digital spaces. With their raw honesty and relatability, internet chicks serve as role models. They encourage their followers to be themselves, share their stories, and pursue what they're passionate about without fear of judgment. Communities built by internet chicks are some of the most vibrant, engaging, and supportive spaces online. These communities serve as places of learning, connection, and shared inspiration. From mental health to advice on career challenges, these communities foster peer-based support. Celebration of Diversity: These spaces frequently invite people from different walks of life to share their perspectives. Despite their positive contributions, internet chicks also face challenges. For instance, they deal with trolling, invasive scrutiny, and the pressure to continuously create engaging content. Balancing personal boundaries while staying digitally present is no easy feat. Additionally, critics argue that there's occasional over-commercialization, where authenticity is compromised for sponsorships. However, many creators are striving to address these concerns transparently. Internet chicks are more than influencers—they are storytellers, leaders, and change-makers who wield their voice to shape narratives. For their audiences, they provide a sense of belonging. Their contributions to culture, advocacy, and entertainment make the digital world more vibrant and inclusive. Whether they're driving progressive movements or simply providing a daily dose of laughter, internet chicks have proven that online spaces are not just platforms—they're communities where creativity, connection, and impact coalesce. The rise of internet chicks symbolizes how the internet democratizes influence. Access to online platforms enables women from all walks of life to share their voices, build communities, and spark real-world change. The cultural significance and influence of internet chicks will likely only continue to grow in parallel with the increasing digitalization of our world. These dynamic figures remind us that beyond the hashtags and pixels are people whose presence makes the internet a more colorful, engaging, and meaningful space. TIME BUSINESS NEWS

Budget-friendly spin on classic summer treat goes viral: ‘Road trip luxury'

A budget-friendly recipe is going viral for channeling an Italian delicacy with just two ingredients that can be found at most roadside rest stops: coffee and an ice-cream sandwich. 'It's July and you know what that means: It's gas station affogato season,' New York-based travel expert and television host Samantha Brown recently posted on social media. Advertisement An affogato, which means 'drowned' in English, is typically served with fresh espresso poured over vanilla ice cream. But Brown, host of the PBS show 'Places to Love,' was forced to improvise while on a recent road trip stateside. 'You're seeing everyone in Italy, Positano, the Amalfi Coast, but you're at a Gulf station off the [Massachusetts Turnpike],' she said. To make the experience 'fancy,' she grabbed a cup of black coffee and an ice-cream sandwich from the gas station. With her ingredients resting on top of an air pump, Brown dunks the frozen treat into the cup and takes a big bite. Advertisement 'Delicious,' the mom of two exclaims. 'Back in the car,' she adds. 3 To make the experience 'fancy,' she grabbed a cup of black coffee and an ice-cream sandwich from the gas station. Rep. Ralph Norman launches bid for South Carolina governor

Rep. Ralph Norman (R-S.C.) announced Sunday he's launching a bid to succeed term-limited South Carolina Gov. Henry McMaster (R), making him the latest Republican to throw his hat in the mix. 'I've seen way too many corrupt politicians in Columbia, S.C., looking out for themselves and not for you. And in Washington, I've seen career politicians who care more about their next election than they do securing our future generations,' Norman told supporters in Rock Hill, S.C. 'We do not need more career politician folks or lawyers running government,' he continued. 'We need business leaders, people who have signed the front of a paycheck and people who have signed the back of a paycheck, folks who have built something, taken risk, made money, yes, and lost money.' Norman joins several other prominent Republicans in launching a bid for South Carolina governor. South Carolina Attorney General Alan Wilson and state Sen. Josh Kimbrell have also announced campaigns to succeed McMaster. Rep. Nancy Mace (R-S.C.) is expected to make a decision on whether to run for governor soon. Nikki Haley, a former United Nations ambassador who also served as South Carolina governor, and former Sen. Jim DeMint (R-S.C.) have endorsed Norman in the race. Former Trump White House chief of staff Mark Meadows has also backed Norman. While the House Freedom Caucus member praised President Trump in his remarks, the question of whom the president endorses in the race still looms. Norman endorsed Haley in the 2024 GOP presidential primary, later getting behind Trump once the former U.N. ambassador dropped out of the race. But Trump places a lot of weight on loyalty and has been unafraid to go after Republicans who he's believed have been insufficiently loyal. Whoever wins the Republican primary next year is seen as the heavy favorite to win in the November election. Copyright 2025 Nexstar Media, Inc. All rights reserved.
