120 Bahadur Teaser Launch Set For August 5; Farhan Akhtar To Bring Rezang La Battle To Life

Farhan Akhtar stars as Major Shaitan Singh in 120 Bahadur, a film based on the 1962 Battle of Rezang La. Directed by Razneesh Ghai, the teaser releases on August 5, 2025. Farhan Akhtar is all set to make a thunderous return to the big screen with 120 Bahadur, a film rooted in one of the most heroic and overlooked chapters of Indian military history — the Battle of Rezang La during the 1962 Indo-China War. The much-awaited teaser for the film will be unveiled on Tuesday, August 5, 2025, offering audiences a first glimpse into this untold saga of courage and sacrifice. Directed by Razneesh 'Razy" Ghai, 120 Bahadur casts Farhan Akhtar in the role of Major Shaitan Singh Bhati, Param Vir Chakra awardee, who led a battalion of 120 soldiers in Ladakh against an overwhelming force of Chinese troops. Despite being vastly outnumbered, these bravehearts held their ground — a defiant stand so powerful that it reportedly led to a unilateral ceasefire by the Chinese. Shot across the harsh terrains of Ladakh, Rajasthan, and Mumbai, the film's production braved sub-zero temperatures at altitudes of 14,000 feet, recreating authentic high-altitude war zones. To ensure cinematic scale and realism, the team brought on board the Oscar-winning action crew from All Quiet on the Western Front and collaborated with Snow Business, the UK-based specialists behind some of the most iconic war sequences in film. Backed by Excel Entertainment (Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar) and Trigger Happy Studios (Amit Chandrra), 120 Bahadur promises to be a powerful blend of history, grit, and patriotic fervour. The film is scheduled to release in cinemas on November 21, 2025. Meanwhile, sources close to the project confirmed to Hindustan Times that the actress came on board after impressing the filmmakers with her recent performances. 'Raashii has proved herself with The Sabarmati Report and Yodha, two completely different films and characters. The makers of 120 Bahadur felt that she would be able to hold her ground in a story which is so patriotic and hard-hitting, and bring added depth," said a source close to the production to the media house. While details about her character remain tightly guarded, her role is said to be crucial to the emotional arc of the narrative. With its stirring tale of indomitable courage and brotherhood, 120 Bahadur aims not just to entertain, but to etch the forgotten legacy of Rezang La into the collective memory of the nation. Nora Fatehi's Cobalt Coat Moment Is Straight Out Of A Fashion Fantasy

Last Updated: For her recent look, Nora Fatehi donned a cobalt blue coat from Alexandre Vauthier's Haute Couture Fall/Winter 2022-2023 collection. She shared the pictures on her Instagram. Nora Fatehi is no stranger to the fashion spotlight, and her recent look in a show-stopping cobalt blue coat proves why she's one of the most influential global fashion powerhouses of the moment. The outfit in question? A statement piece from Alexandre Vauthier's Haute Couture Fall/Winter 2022-2023 collection, worn with the kind of confidence only Nora can pull off. Shot against intricately painted blue walls in Jaipur, Nora Fatehi 's look was a striking interplay of architectural couture and traditional Indian opulence. The structured coat, crafted with sharp shoulders, exaggerated lapels, and rich faux fur trim, embodied both glamour and edge. Its vivid cobalt hue stood out like a jewel, echoing the regal undertones of the setting while exuding contemporary high-fashion drama. What makes Nora's style choices consistently compelling is her ability to balance bold fashion risks with refined execution. Instead of letting the maximalist coat compete with accessories, she dialled everything else down: slicked-back hair, dewy skin, and minimal jewellery. The sheer black tights and crystal-embellished pumps added just the right amount of contrast and sparkle, letting the coat stay front and centre. This look isn't just another couture moment; it's a continuation of Nora's growing legacy as a fashion force. From Louis Vuitton at Paris Fashion Week to Oscar de la Renta at the Oscars Vanity Fair After Party and Tom Ford at the American Music Awards, she's been making carefully curated appearances that place her in the same league as global fashion icons. What's most interesting, though, is how she's carving her path, one bold silhouette, one fashion risk at a time. In an industry often dictated by trends and play-it-safe styling, Nora's unapologetic fashion statements serve as reminders that style is as much about storytelling as it is about clothing. This cobalt moment? It wasn't just a look. It was a statement. view comments First Published: August 02, 2025, 20:00 IST Disclaimer: Comments reflect users' views, not News18's.
