Oldham battle from behind twice to earn promotion to Football League
In front of a record crowd of 52,115 at Wembley, substitutes James Norwood and Kian Harratt scored within the space of two minutes after Leon Chambers-Parillon had restored Southend's lead just seconds into extra time.
An early own-goal from Manny Monthe had given the Shrimpers the lead, but was cancelled out by Joe Garner's penalty after Monthe had been brought down in the area.

Oldham boss Micky Mellon unsurprisingly named the same starting XI which won 3-0 against York in the semi-final, only to see his side concede their first goal of the play-offs with just four minutes on the clock.
Gus Scott-Morriss pounced on a loose pass in midfield and chipped the ball into the area for Charley Kendall to chase and his presence was enough to pressure the unfortunate Monthe to loft the ball over his own goalkeeper.
Garner came close to an equaliser when his header from Tom Pett's corner came back off the post and Oldham felt they should have had a penalty when Mike Fondop went down in the area under a challenge from Harry Taylor.
Taylor did not appear to get much of the ball but referee Elliot Bell waved away the appeals and the Oldham fans suffered more frustration in the last minute of the half as Fondop missed a golden chance to equalise.
A defensive clearance was charged down and left Fondop through on goal, but after clipping the ball over goalkeeper Nick Hayes he could only look on as it drifted agonisingly wide of the post.
It took less than a minute of the second half for Oldham to finally get back on level terms, Garner calmly scoring from the penalty spot after Monthe had been brought down in the area.

Neither side was able to find a winner in normal time but Southend regained the lead just seconds into extra-time, goalkeeper Mathew Hudson parrying a deflected cross from Scott-Morriss straight on to the head of substitute Chambers-Parillon to head into the empty net.
Oldham refused to throw in the towel and Norwood got them back on level terms for the second time when he latched on to a long ball through the middle and took a deft touch around Hayes before slotting the ball into an empty net.

Hartlepool chair calls on clubs to ban Jeff Stelling from boardrooms as row escalates
The broadcaster Jeff Stelling's dispute with Hartlepool United has escalated, with the chair, Raj Singh, writing to the other National League clubs asking them to ban the former Sky Sports presenter from their boardrooms. Stelling resigned as honorary president of Hartlepool in May in protest at Singh's handling of negotiations over the sale of the club, which Singh had put on the market more than two years earlier. 'As Chairman of Hartlepool United Football Club I would kindly and considerately ask that Mr Stelling is therefore not provided with official HUFC dignitary spaces in your Board Room, or equivalent, for any Hartlepool United fixture at your home ground. 'In the unlikely event that Mr Stelling independently attends any Hartlepool United fixture at your home ground, I'd further request that you consider to seat Mr Stelling separately to any HUFC dignitaries or staff.' Stelling resigned after it became clear that a consortium's proposed takeover was not progressing. The group led by the local businesswoman Shirley Hammond is understood to have grown frustrated that talks have stalled. 'I know this is only an honorary role, but it is the best way I felt I could protest against the treatment of the party trying to take control of the club,' Stelling said when he resigned. 'Supporters have been left in an intolerable position with a perceived threat to the future of the club should they not support the current owner.' Singh has since proposed holding a vote among season-ticket holders over whether he should stay in charge, although that has yet to take place. Stelling is a lifelong Hartlepool fan who often used his position as host of Sky Sports' live scores and results programme, Soccer Saturday, which he presented for 29 years until 2023, to promote the club. In 2016 he was appointed as the club's honorary president in place of Peter Mandelson, who was MP for Hartlepool from 1992 to 2004. August 5 - The visiting Milwaukee Brewers will bring the majors' best record into play on Tuesday night when they look to clinch a series victory over the hapless Atlanta Braves. After posting a 3-1 win in the opener of a three-game set on Monday, the Brewers are a season-best 24 games over .500 at 68-44 and hold a three-game lead over the Chicago Cubs atop the National League Central. Milwaukee has won four straight games and 12 of 16 since the All-Star break. For a lineup that produces by committee, helping the cause in the season's second half has been 28-year-old rookie Isaac Collins. Including hitting a three-run homer on Monday, Collins has reached safely in 13 of 15 games since the break, pushing his batting average to .281 and his OPS to .801. Admittedly, Collins has kept an eye on fellow first-year players across the league as he chases a possible NL Rookie of the Year Award. Joey Wentz (2-2, 5.02 ERA) is slated to make his fifth appearance and fourth start for the Braves on Tuesday after being designated for assignment after 25 appearances split with the Pittsburgh Pirates and Minnesota Twins. The left-hander is coming off his best performance of the season on Wednesday, allowing one hit over 6 2/3 scoreless innings in a no-decision against the Kansas City Royals. Atlanta lost 1-0 in 10 innings. "It's going to be challenging the rest of the year, until we hopefully get a guy back from that group," Braves manager Brian Snitker said of the pitching injuries. "We knew as soon as the last guy (Grant Holmes) went down, it's going to be challenging. Hopefully, these guys can hold up and give us a chance to win some games." Wentz has a 7.20 ERA in four career relief appearances against the Brewers.
