KPop Demon Hunters 2 could happen after Part 1 recently hit a new record on Netflix.
In a recent post on X (formerly Twitter), the streaming giant announced, 'It's their moment! KPop Demon Hunters is Netflix's most-watched original animated film of ALL TIME.' This feat has increased the chances of a sequel to follow, in addition to the high demand from fans for one.
With KPop Demon Hunters becoming one of the top movies on Netflix, fans have been calling for a sequel to happen. This is also due to the somewhat cliffhanger ending of the movie. At the end of KPop Demon Hunters, Jinu is seen disappearing in an attempt to save Rumi. His soul has now merged with Rumi's, and it might be present in her sword. Yet, this has led to fans hoping for the character to come back.
Previously, while speaking to Screen Rant, director Maggie Kang addressed the chances of a potential sequel. When asked about whether a Part 2 can happen, she told the outlet, 'Always. There are always side stories, and there are things we've thought of while making this one.' Kang further added that the movie left 'a lot of questions' unanswered. Thus, according to her, 'there are a lot of pockets that we can explore.'

Expect an eye-opening Diego Pavia clip from the new Netflix SEC series to resurface in the Tennessee football locker room before the Vanderbilt game this November. T.J. Hooker Reboot in the Works at Netflix — But There's a Twist
Netflix has copped the rights to an iconic 1980s TV drama. The streaming service is developing T.J. Hooker, a feature-length action comedy based on the William Shatner police procedural, Deadline reports. Hooker, a sergeant in the Los Angeles County Police Department who was determined to rid the streets of criminals like those who murdered his former partner. The cast initially included Adrian Zmed (as Officer Vincent 'Vince' Romano), April Clough (as Officer Vicki Taylor) and Richard Herd (as Captain Dennis Sheridan). Clough departed after Season 1, at which point Heather Locklear joined the ensemble (as Officer Stacy Sheridan). Netflix has released the first teaser trailer for Jay Kelly , the latest film from director Noah Baumbach, and it gives us a first look at what looks like a personal and introspective character journey. George Clooney stars in the title role, playing an aging movie star grappling with his legacy, fame, and identity. Adam Sandler plays his longtime manager, Ron, and the two set off across Europe in what starts as a professional obligation and slowly becomes something much more profound.
