This "Bridgerton"-themed bus takes you on a mobile tea party tour of Charlotte

Axios14-07-2025
Context: Whimsy Wheels Wander Tour founders Ashley Harker and Ashley Kramer wanted to create an interactive experience that showcases the city's history, diversity and secrets in an entertaining way.
They launched their bus tours in April to offer an activity for those looking for things to do in a sober or family-friendly setting.
How it works: The tour, which lasts about two hours, takes you through popular Charlotte neighborhoods. Meanwhile, your tour guide shares both historical and scandalous facts about the city and the queen it's named after.
Expect games, royal photo ops complete with a throne backdrop, a curtsy tutorial, and in true "Bridgerton" fashion, Queen Charlotte will crown one lucky passenger as the diamond of the season.
It makes a 30-minute stop at The Market at 7th Street in Uptown.
The vibe: The 28-person bus, which its owner calls the Royal Carriage, was designed to be whimsical, decorated with floral wallpaper, a ceiling lined with flowers and pink lighting.
Sip on this: On board, you'll enjoy six custom tea flavors, including a blue matcha that turns pink when mixed with lemonade, and a peach mango refresher made with green tea.
You can pair the tea with light snacks and desserts. You'll also receive a custom tea tumbler to take home.
If you go: Whimsy Wheels Wander Tours run every Saturday and Sunday from 12-2pm and another from 3-5pm.
Tickets are $69 per person. "Bridgerton" attire is encouraged but not required.
Private events and custom tours are available Monday through Friday.
What's next: Starting in August, they'll add a Friday night "naughty tour," which will be a theater-based experience featuring dance numbers, including some burlesque, and it'll be BYOB.

One Piece Season 2: Latest updates on release date, cast and plot details

By Aman Shukla Published on July 26, 2025, 21:00 IST Last updated July 26, 2025, 20:35 IST If you've been waiting (impatiently) for more Straw Hat shenanigans, you're not alone. After Netflix's live-action One Piece crushed it with Season 1 in 2023, fans have been counting the days until the crew sets sail again—and now we've finally got some solid updates on what's coming in Season 2. Spoiler: it's going to be wild. Release Date: When Can We Expect Season 2? Netflix has confirmed One Piece Season 2 is officially dropping in 2026. Yeah, we were all secretly hoping for a late 2025 surprise, but those rumors have been put to rest. At Tudum 2025, Netflix made it clear: 2026 is the target. Filming's already wrapped in South Africa, and the cast even celebrated on the Going Merry set—which makes the wait a little more bearable. With Eiichiro Oda still involved and the showrunners aiming to top themselves, we're expecting something worth the patience. Cast: Returning Favourites and Exciting New Faces Our main crew is all returning, thankfully. That means we'll see: Iñaki Godoy back as our lovable rubber-powered captain, Luffy Mackenyu slicing it up again as Zoro Emily Rudd bringing heart and smarts as Nami Jacob Romero as the ever-dramatic Usopp Taz Skylar cooking and kicking it as Sanji But here's where things get really exciting: Tony Tony Chopper is joining the crew! Yup, everyone's favorite reindeer doctor is finally here, and he's being voiced by Mikaela Hoover ( Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 ). Fans got a sneak peek during Tudum, and yep—he's just as adorable as you imagined. Season 2 is also adding a bunch of new faces, especially from the Baroque Works storyline. Here's a quick rundown: Katey Sagal ( Sons of Anarchy ) steps in as Dr. Kureha , after Jamie Lee Curtis had to drop out Mark Harelik plays Dr. Hiriluk , an important figure in Chopper's past Charithra Chandran ( Bridgerton ) shows up as the mysterious Vivi Joe Manganiello is stepping into the villain role as Mr. 0 (aka Crocodile) Lera Abova plays Miss All-Sunday David Dastmalchian as Mr. 3 Daniel Lasker and Camrus Johnson as Mr. 9 and Mr. 5 , respectively And Anton David Jeftha takes on the role of K.M. Plus, familiar faces like Buggy, Koby, and Garp are all expected to pop back in. Plot: What Adventures Await the Straw Hats? Season 2 picks up right where we left off—with Luffy and the crew sailing straight into the Grand Line, the most dangerous and mysterious sea in the world of One Piece . The showrunners (along with Oda himself) have teased that this season will tackle some fan-favorite arcs from the early Grand Line saga. Here's what we're heading into: Loguetown : The last stop before the Grand Line, full of surprises (and a run-in with Marine Captain Smoker). Reverse Mountain / Twin Capes : Expect a wild entrance into the Grand Line and a massive whale named Laboon . Whiskey Peak : A too-good-to-be-true town that turns into a trap. Little Garden : Dinosaurs, giants, and chaos. What more could you ask for? Drum Island: The emotional core of the season—this is where Chopper's story kicks in, and we meet Dr. Kureha and Hiriluk. All of this builds up toward the Arabasta storyline, so yeah—big things are coming. Expect more intense battles, deeper character moments, and that signature One Piece blend of heart, humor, and adventure. Ahmedabad Plane Crash Aman Shukla is a post-graduate in mass communication . Fancy some Regency-era audio porn voiced by Tom Blyth?

It's no secret that modern dating can leave a lot to be desired. Swiping to meet, deciphering confusing texts, navigating the minefield of buzzword bad behaviours. It's no wonder that so many of us are escaping into fantasy RN — whether that's via romantasy novels and monster erotica, closing our eyes and disappearing into an audio porn story, or getting stuck into passionate period dramas like Bridgerton. We're all craving a romantic love story, and ideally one that doesn't involve technology (in the story, that is — headphones and TVs obvs essential for our escapism). If this plight sounds familiar, audio erotica app Quinn might just have the thing for you. The latest iteration of its star-studded Original series is The Muse: a Regency-era romance drama starring The Hunger Games' Tom Blyth. Blyth voices William, a struggling pianist and composer, who takes what he thinks will be a fairly mundane job teaching piano to the adult daughter of a wealthy Lord. As Blyth reveals in the series trailer, though, she's 'not exactly your typical debutante' — rather, Aurelia is 'fiery', 'plays by her own rules', and, as per Quinn, unnerves and inspires William. As their lessons progress, sparks begin to fly. 'The Muse explores the electric tension between teacher and student, the line between discipline and desire, and the transcendent power of artistic connection,' says Quinn. 'This is a story of restraint unraveling — of intimacy, music, and mutual obsession, set against the lush, candlelit backdrop of early 19th-century London.' As is usually the case with Quinn's stories, the listener plays a lead role — this time, you're Aurelia, and Blyth (as William) is speaking directly to you. Yep, it's hot. If you're into fantasies of power, forbidden love, and Blyth's sensual voice whispering in your ear, then you should head over to Quinn now to listen to the first two eps. Don't binge them too quickly, though, as the final episode of the three-part series won't land until next week (31 July). Talk about teasing! And good news: if you join our new Club Cosmo membership, you can get a whole month's subscription for free. The best bit? Club Cosmo is also totally free to join. So there's really no excuse. Plus, if celeb audio porn is what you're after, then Quinn is the place to go. Blyth follows in the footsteps of the app's previous big-name narrators, including Andrew Scott, Emily in Paris' Lucien Laviscount, You's Victoria Pedretti, and many more. To mark the premiere of The Muse, Quinn has shared an exclusive excerpt with us, so you, Aurelia, can try before you buy. Read on for some Regency-era erotica. (And FYI, as William is talking to you, listener/reader, the below is all from his POV.) I feel as if I've been shot out of a cannon and thrust into a beautiful new world. Has London always been this lovely? It feels as if the entire course of my life has been redirected in just a matter of days. First, an unexpected offer of employment from a generous patron, and now… how to even quantify this magnitude of feeling? This outburst of passion for Aurelia… it's all-consuming. Excuse me, good sir! I shall watch my step. What beauty lays before me in this pleasure garden. I don't recall ever stepping foot in this sanctuary. For how long have I been stumbling around London like a blind fool? I suppose I have been ignorant to the casual beauty of everyday life, but now all is transformed, all thanks to Aurelia. William, you are in trouble… Of course, I must preserve my employment with Lord Haddington, if only to be near Aurelia, but whenever I am with her, I lose all sense of myself. I am at the mercy of her hunger, passion, and wit. And her physical form… it's all a potent, all-consuming intoxication. I've never met a woman like her. But her predilection for being discovered could be my… nay, our downfall. Her father could end me, and I do not wish to tarnish her reputation. Please excuse me ladies, do have a lovely afternoon. To think that I would have categorised Aurelia as a dilettante not a few days ago if I were to have passed her in this very garden. I was prepared to sit on my hands, bite clear through my tongue, and tame my racing thoughts… but my passion for her is matched by her passion for… dare I say it… for me. Aurelia is leading me to that sensual life — that life of artistry — I've always craved.

These 8 Expensive Perfumes Are Worth Every Penny

Every item on this page was chosen by an ELLE editor. We may earn commission on some of the items you choose to buy. Buying a perfume is like buying a chic gift for your best friend: It doesn't need to be expensive, but sometimes spending a few extra bucks makes the whole experience super special. Perfumes for women come in all shapes and sizes, from vanilla-scented yummy fragrances to woodsier colognes that make anyone feel extra edgy and cool. My kryptonite is an expensive perfume that makes me feel like I'm carrying a luxurious secret with me all day. But let's be honest: Sometimes the hefty price tags on fragrances might feel confusing. What makes one perfume more expensive than another? There can be several reasons, ranging from how laborious it is to harvest ingredients, to designer labels, to the cost involved in the beautiful bottle you're paying for. Here, we've sniffed around and discovered the best expensive perfumes that are actually worth the price. From luxurious scents in hand-blown glass bottles to fan favorites worldwide, find your new signature fragrance that says, 'I smell expensive.' Apparently, the folks over at Frédéric Malle found a way to bottle cool girl energy. It's definitely a woodsier scent, but it also contains hints of rose, raspberry and cinnamon for that sweeter edge. Nordstrom rating: 4.2/5 stars A Nordstrom reviewer says: 'Love it, love it, loooooove it! This is a very nice rose fragrance. Leaves a sweet taste in my mouth after I smell it. So glad that I purchased the large bottle. This is my favorite fragrance right now. It's very unique.' I recently invited friends over to root through my perfume inventory, and no joke; people fought over this one. My male friends begged me to give it to their girlfriends, but in the end I kept it, because any perfume that almost starts a riot is one I need to own. Nordstrom rating: 4.3/5 stars A Nordstrom reviewer says: 'You just know from the first spray that it's the one. And after a few minutes, it's even better. It's light and fresh with a sweetness, feminine and sophisticated. Just cannot stop smelling it. I'm in love!' When I received this perfume, I immediately posted it on my Instagram to brag about my connections. No fewer than four so-called 'friends' asked if they could have it. As if. That being said, if you don't know what to buy for someone, I have yet to meet a human being who doesn't like Santal 33. A Nordstrom reviewer says: 'I'd take a bath in this scent if I could afford it. I hope I'm buried with a bottle when I die.' As a bride-to-be, this perfume feels like it was made for me–literally. Its inspiration is a bouquet you walk down the aisle with, complete with floral notes from violets, tuberoses, ylang-ylang flowers, and irises. Not to mention, it looks like something a Bridgerton character would put on their rating: 3.8/5 starsA Nordstrom reviewer says: 'Clearly the most beautiful fragrance on the planet. Subtle and complex.' Take it from me; the bottle alone justifies the hefty price tag for this perfume. Anyone who enters my apartment is instantly enthralled with the star shape, but the truth is that the scent inside is even better. Inspired by New York City, the fragrance is the perfect mesh of sweet, fruity, and deep. Saks rating: 5/5 stars A Saks reviewer says: 'This smells wonderful! I love love love it! I love the longevity of this. It's an excellent scent for fall/winter months.' This is a superb gender-neutral scent or at least that's what I've been led to believe since my brother constantly attempts to steal the bottle from my apartment. If you're considering a trip to Italy this year, save yourself a few bucks and buy this perfume instead. Nordstrom rating: 4.5/5 stars A Nordstrom reviewer says: 'I ordered this on a whim without smelling it first. It was a gamble that paid off. I don't think I will ever be without this perfume. It is so different, without being overpowering. It last a decent length of time on my skin. I'd highly recommend this.' Truthfully, designer fragrances (perfumes created by fashion houses) can be really hit or miss. Gucci transcends that stereotype with a range of exceptional fragrances that increase the eye-candy factor of any vanity. Nordstrom rating: 4/5 stars A Nordstrom reviewer says: 'The notes are crisp and fresh. Such a delightful fragrance.' Also known as everybody's favorite perfume, this scent pays for itself in the abundance of compliments you'll accrue. It's also a favorite of A-listers like Olivia Rodrigo, which is an endorsement that makes me click 'Add to cart.' Believe the hype—there's a reason why you smell it everywhere. A Nordstrom reviewer says: 'I am constantly stopped on the street, in stores, elevators, in meetings, EVERYWHERE and told 'You smell INCREDIBLE, what are you wearing?!?''
