Olivia Munn shades Jeff Bezos, Lauren Sánchez with pointed comment after over-the-top $76m wedding
The actress — who made headlines in April for blasting Lauren Sánchez's Blue Origin space flight — appeared to shade the bride and husband Jeff Bezos over their $76 million wedding.
One day after Friday's star-studded nuptials in Venice, Italy, Munn reacted to Mia Farrow's Instagram post praising the Amazon founder's ex-wife, Mackenzie Scott, reports Page Six.
The former couple, notably, were married from 1993 to 2019 and welcomed four children during their time together.
'How awesome is MacKenzie Scott! (Jeff Bezos first wife & mother of his 4 children),' Saturday's social media upload read. 'As of mid-December 2024, she had given a total of $19.3 billion to over 1600 charitable organisations.'
Munn, 44, commented, 'Truly incredible.'
The Your Friends & Neighbors star wasn't the only celeb to gush over Scott, 55, in the wake of Bezos' extravagant ceremony.
Actress Rosanna Arquette labelled the novelist 'a force of humanity and good,' while Sarah Jessica Parker, Katie Holmes and Mandy Moore 'liked' the post.
Charlize Theron ripped into the newlyweds outright over the weekend, quipping that 'they suck.'
Reps for Munn, Bezos and Sánchez did not immediately respond to Page Six 's requests for comment.
Munn previously made headlines in April when she referred to Sánchez's historic, all-female trip to space as 'gluttonous' during a US Today show appearance.
'There are so many other things that are so important in the world right now,' the Newsroom alum said.
'It's so much money to go to space, and there's a lot of people who can't even afford eggs,' she added.
At the time, Munn was joined by Olivia Wilde, Amy Schumer and Emily Ratajkowski in shading the former journalist.
Wilde, 41, told her followers that at least the 'billionaires bought some good memes,' while Schumer, 44, joked about the items the women brought to space.
Ratajkowski, for her part, said that she was 'disgusted' by the flight, which was 'built and paid for by a company that is single-handedly destroying the planet.'
When Munn got married in July 2024 to comedian John Mulaney, with whom she shares two children, the ceremony was a private affair at a friend's home in New York.
The low-key event was attended by son Malcolm, a witness and officiant Sam Waterston.
Bezos and Sánchez's wedding, meanwhile, was swarmed with A-listers from Leonardo DiCaprio and Tom Brady to Sydney Sweeney and Kim Kardashian.

Rosie O'Donnell blasts 'gross excess' of Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez's wedding
Rosie O'Donnell has hit out at the "gross excess" of Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez's wedding. The Amazon billionaire and his partner tied the knot in Venice last week in a lavish ceremony attended by A-listers including Kim Kardashian, Oprah Winfrey and Orlando Bloom but the 63-year-old comedian was far from impressed with the couple's celebrations. Rosie wrote in her newsletter on Substack: "It turned my stomach. Seeing all those billionaires. Gathering in the gross excess of it all. The show of it. "Is Oprah friends with Jeff Bezos? Really - how is that possible? He treats his employees with disdain. By any metric he is not a nice man. "And his fake fem bot wife. Who looks like that? Why would he choose her? After the salt of the earth MacKenzie (Scott, Bezos' first wife)." O'Donnell claims that Bezos has "sold his soul" with the "performative nonsense" of the nuptials, which spanned three days and is said to have cost more than $50 million. The former talk show host said: "Bezos was raised by a single mother. He knows exactly what he does. So do all of his guests. Posing for photos forgetting themselves. In their designer outfits. Ready for a Vogue cover. A spot on ET. More worthless performative nonsense." Rosie questioned how US people will fight back against the administration of President Donald Trump when they have "become numb to gross excess". She said: "Celebrity worship. Devoid of humanity... As we worship the ones hurting us. Numbly asking for nothing. In an American stupor. Of (our) own making." Rosie revealed earlier this year that she and her youngest child Clay, 12, had left the US for Ireland after Trump was re-elected as president for their "safety and sanity". The star - who has traded verbal barbs with the White House chief in the past - told Us Weekly magazine: "I know myself enough to know that this was something I needed to do for the safety and sanity of myself and my non-binary child... "There's a great, great school there. And Clay has done very well. And they were really welcoming. "And I love the little town, the little village. It's in the heart of Dublin, but it's still a village where you know the name of the grocer and you know the name of the cashiers. People are unbearably kind in a way that shocks me every single day."

Johnny Depp lifts lid on life after Amber Heard legal drama
Johnny Depp has opened up about struggling with empty-nest syndrome, revealing the only place he has ever felt at 'home' was the French property where he and ex-partner Vanessa Paradis raised their two children. In an interview with the Sunday Times, Depp, 62, shed some light on what his life has been like since his highly publicised defamation lawsuit against his former wife, Amber Heard, came to a dramatic end in 2022. The 'Pirates of the Caribbean' star took his ex to court in Virginia over accusations she made in a 2018 Washington Post op-ed, Realtor reports. The 'Aquaman' actress claimed that Depp had been physically abusive to her during their relationship — allegations that he vehemently denied. His courtroom victory against Heard was widely seen as the spark of a career 'comeback' for Depp, who many believed had been intentionally sidelined from projects after Heard's claims were brought to light. However, he insists that wasn't the case. He told the Times he 'didn't go anywhere', adding that — had he left the industry — he would 'never' have come back to it. While Depp is eager to look ahead in his career, he admitted to feeling somewhat nostalgic about his personal life — specifically the time he spent living in the South of France with Paradis and their kids, Lily-Rose and Jack. Describing himself as being 'of the empty-nest syndrome' now that his children have grown up and found homes of their own, Depp recalled a portrait he began painting of his daughter when she was just 10. 'I never finished it. She was 10 then and 25 now. Years get away from us, don't they? I'm of the empty-nest syndrome,' he confessed. Depp said he missed having his children at home with him, revealing they referred to him as 'Papa' when they were being raised in France. 'Oh man, my kids growing up in the South of France in their youth? I was 'Papa.' I cannot tell you how much I loved being Papa,' he said. However, he revealed things changed when the family packed up and relocated to Los Angeles. 'Then, suddenly, 'Papa' was out the window. I was 'Dad.' But 'Papa' was awesome and I'm getting old enough for 'Papa' to possibly come back,' he added. Although their move helped Depp's career blossom, the Hollywood heavyweight confessed Europe is the only place he has ever considered 'home.' 'Truly, the first time I felt I had a home was the place in the South of France where Vanessa and I raised the kiddies,' he confessed. 'That's the only place that ever felt like home'. He noted he doesn't spend much time in the US, before revealing he usually lives out his days in his 'Bahamas joint'. It is a far cry from his childhood — which began in Owensboro, Kentucky — where Depp was born. However, Depp and his family — mum Betty Sue, father John, brother Daniel, and sisters Debbie and Christi — moved around plenty before putting down roots in Florida. He admits his childhood was not always easy, particularly because of family tensions. 'My brother had his problems with the parents. There were many episodes of conflict — he and my father would duke it out — and Debbie had her problems with them, too. 'Then Danny got married. Soon Debbie got married, too, so it was only me and Christi,' Depp recalled. 'Then Christi got married, so it was only me. And dynamics changed. 'It was almost as if I was used to conflict. It was not abnormal. I did my best to just step in and out.' He noted his vision for his own children is much different from what people had of him when he was growing up. Lily-Rose is following in her father's footsteps by showcasing her acting chops on 'The Idol' and 'Nosferatu'. However, Depp confessed he didn't want her to head down the same path as him. 'Sometimes kids say to me, 'I want to be an actor, what's your advice?'' Depp revealed. 'And I say, 'Don't be!' 'I know what's coming for them. I was chucked on that road, and the only advice that I can give is, 'Don't allow anyone to make you something you are not.' 'They'll want you to be a poster boy, and it's tempting — a lot of money. 'And if that's the direction you want? Go for it. But don't let anybody choose for you.' Depp holds the keys to a number of opulent pads across the globe, including an 850-acre estate in England, which he snapped up for $US17.5 million ($A26.8 million) in 2014. It comes with 12 bedrooms and eight bathrooms, and it is believed to be his primary residence. He also owns a cluster of properties in the Hollywood Hills, including a Sweetzer Castle and a Gothic Revival mansion, which he purchased in 1995 for $US2.15 million ($A3.29 million). In France, Depp owns a chic village near St. Tropez, and it holds multiple cottages, a chapel, and a restaurant. Although he attempted to offload the residence in the past, he still owns it. Lastly, the actor owns a home in the Bahamas, which he snapped up for $US3.6 million ($A5.5 million) in 2004.

Photos prove $450m couple is living the dream
Power couple Serena Williams and tech giant husband Alexis Ohanian are winning at life. The pair, with a net worth valued at around $450 million, were last week spotted enjoying a summer escape while the eye of the tennis world turns towards Wimbledon. The couple's fearless flashes of flesh during a day out on a luxurious, private yacht off the coast of Sardinia are making headlines for all the right reasons. The couple, who are proud parents of daughters Olympia, seven, and baby Adira, looked completely at ease as they soaked in the sun and fun off the picturesque Italian island. Tennis icon Williams looked exactly the sort of mum her fans believed she would be when she retired from the sport in 2022. As reported by Backgrid, the 43-year-old was seen covering up in a chic green halterneck over her swimwear. After drying off, the family switched things up with a playful dress-up session, donning whimsical period style costumes with little Olympia stealing the show in a puff sleeved gown. Between the sun, sea, and laughter, the Williams-Ohanian clan looked to be making the most of their Sardinian summer escape. Ohanian has particularly caused a stir with photos of his proud dad bod spreading across cyberspace. The luxury getaway is the stuff most families can only dream of. The 39-year-old has had plenty to celebrate recently. The Reddit co-founder earlier this year confirmed he scored a $50 million windfall from an early bet on cryptocurrencies. The American tech entrepreneur married Williams, who finished her career with 23 grand slam singles titles to her name, in 2017. The couple celebrated the arrival of their second daughter Adira River in August, 2023. The Olympian shocked fans with her pregnancy in May by showing up to the Met Gala with her baby bump on display. While she was never able to complete her final tennis dream of equalling Aussie tennis legend Margaret Court's record of 24 grand slam titles, Williams and her husband are clearly winning in retirement.
