Lashkar-e-Taiba Commander Rizwan Hanif beaten with shoes, chased away in..., he was trying to...
New Delhi: There has been a rebellion against Lashkar-e-Taiba in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK). According to the report, people's anger has erupted against the terrorists in Kuiyan village of PoK and many terrorists who tried to make children terrorists have been beaten with shoes and chased away by the people. Who is Rizwan Hanif and why was he beaten up and chased away? Local people have beaten up terrorist commander Rizwan Hanif associated with Lashkar-e-Taiba, and he was forced to run away from there to save his life. Rizwan Hanif is a notorious terrorist of Lashkar, and his job was to brainwash the local people and bring them to the training center of terrorists. Rizwan Hanif is the self-styled commander of Jammu and Kashmir United Mujahideen (JKUM), which acts as an affiliate branch of Lashkar-e-Taiba. According to sources, he plays an active role in recruiting youth in PoK, smuggling weapons and anti-India activities. According to local sources, when Hanif came to the village with his armed companions, the villagers first questioned him and then started beating him. What led to outburst among PoK residents against Lashkar-e-Taiba? According to the report, Lashkar terrorists were trying to take the youth to radicalise them which made the villagers furious. The villagers surrounded him and after a heated argument, forced him to leave the village. A leader of PoK has released a video saying that people beat Hanif with shoes and chased him away. He has revealed that the elders and youth of the village have now planned to call a public 'Jirga' (panchayat), in which those supporting the terrorists will be condemned and a decision will be taken to impose a collective ban on any kind of terrorist activity in the village. What has happened since India launched Operation Sindoor? Ever since India launched Operation Sindoor against Lashkar-e-Taiba in PoK and mainland Pakistan in response to the Pahalgam terrorist attack, the locals there have become cautious and vigilant about the activities of the terrorist groups operating from Pakistan and PoK. They fear that their children will be brainwashed to take up arms to carry out terror activities. India has now made it clear that terrorists are not safe anywhere in Pakistan. Also, in recent months, people have started raising their voices against terrorist activities in other parts of PoK as well and are asking their government to provide basic facilities like education, health, infrastructure, and electricity among other amenities.
