Harry Redknapp sees 50ft racing boat CRASH into garden of new £12m Sandbanks mansion
They paid £7million for a house in the Millionaire's Row area where they have previously owned two houses, only to demolish it and build a grand villa, which experts estimate cost £12m.
One of the reasons they went to such lengths to move from the Branksome Park area of Bournemouth back to Sandbanks was their love of the sea.
But their view of Poole Harbour was ruined on Monday when a 50ft trimaran came crashing into their private jetty. The three-hulled £25,000 boat, called Three Cheers, was blown off-course and ended up getting stuck underneath the Redknapps' jetty.
The Sun reports that Redknapp was 'left stunned' by the sailing accident. A spokesperson for Poole Lifeboat said: "A 50ft trimaran was passing through Poole Harbour on passage.
"With no engine at the time, it got into difficulty and ended up aground and wedged under a jetty near North Haven Point. The lifeboat volunteers were swiftly on scene and found that the casualties were all ashore, safe and well and did not require assistance."
The Redknapps' Italianate villa has been built on the narrow plot of land and features Palladian-style columns plus four separate balconies with wrought iron railings.
It is situated on the north west corner of Millionaire's Row and looks out towards Poole Harbour. While it is a dream home for the ex-football manager and his wife, it caused a stir among locals.
The house is inside the Sandbanks conservation area and the Sandbanks Neighbourhood Forum had objected to the villa. The group claimed it would have a 'detrimental effect' on the area.
Next-door neighbour Alison Wheeler believed the new villa would be too "overpowering" and "oppressive". She also feared it would have a "major impact on our privacy".
The objections forced the architect to go back to the drawing board and make the designs narrower, so as not to impact on the properties either side, while glazed privacy glass was insisted upon by planning officers.
The new villa has a grand entrance hall, an open-plan living/kitchen/dining room, two reception rooms, a study, boot room and five en-suite bedrooms. It also features a double garage with room for a gym, while there is a boat house at the bottom of the garden by the jetty, which has access to Poole Harbour.
Redknapp, 78, has not managed a club since Birmingham City in 2017 and won I'm a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here in 2018.

Mrs Browns Boys returning to the BBC after controversy
The fifth series of the comedy programme is now only weeks away and is returning despite the creator apologising for a racial slur. Teasing the new show, the corporation said: "Agnes Brown and the gang from Finglas are back! "Everyone's favourite Irish Mammy returns for a brand new fifth series featuring all your favourite characters, so get ready for more slapstick shenanigans this spring!" According to The Sun, the BBC's head of comedy, Jon Petrie, added: "Brendan has created an iconic comedy character in Agnes Brown. "Mrs. Brown's Boys is a BAFTA-winning comedy show and one of the BBC's most-watched comedies ever. I'm proud to have it in the BBC Comedy stable." Mrs Brown's Boys will return to UK telly on Friday, August 1 at 9:30pm on BBC One. BBC viewers dub Mrs Brown's Boys 'utter garbage' and 'worst thing' they have ever seen Despite this popularity, many are not so keen on the show, with one person penning: "The worst show I've ever seen. It's ghastly, and thankfully, no one I know likes it, because if they did, then I'd disown them. UTTER GARBAGE." Another said: "Quite possibly the worst thing I've ever watched in my life. "For something that is labelled as a comedy, it is incredibly unfunny. "The entire premise of this show is woefully outdated, predictable, cringe inducing, with an annoyingly overactive audience. "Of all genres, comedy is probably the most diverse in terms of its audience reception, but if 1920s-style slapstick is your jam, this will probably tick a box for you." However, with a rating of 7.1/10 on IMDb, most enjoy the programme. Recommended Reading: One person wrote: "Some of the funniest slapstick I have seen in years. The live audience and the accidentals (on-stage flubs) only serve to make what is already hilariously funny, even funnier." Another added: "Love this series. I can't stop watching it. Terrific cast, fantastic humour. I never want the show to end. So much craziness in the world today, so much to worry about, but this show takes you away from it. Brilliant, Mr. O'Carroll." A third fan said: "So glad I stumbled upon this show through a friend. It has to be the funniest show I've ever seen!"

Two I'm A Celebrity legends 'set to return' for epic All Stars series
The I'm A Celebrity… South Africa all stars series is officially returning to ITV later in 2025—and not one but two legendary jungle stars are in talks to come back. Starting in 2024, I'm A Celebrity… South Africa reunites old campmates from the ITV game show. This time, however, they're trading the Australian jungle for the desert. Last series saw the likes of Shaun Ryder, Gillian McKeith, Helen Flanagan, Phil Tufnell, and Jordan Banjo giving up luxuries for a gruelling challenge once more. The competition was ultimately won by Myleene Klass, who had originally finished second during the show's sixth series almost 20 years ago… but now, two more famous faces are coming for her crown. According to reports, beloved King of the Jungle Harry Redknapp is close to signing on the dotted line with ITV bosses. Wake up to find news on your TV shows in your inbox every morning with Metro's TV Newsletter. Sign up to our newsletter and then select your show in the link we'll send you so we can get TV news tailored to you. As per The Sun, Harry, 78, who became the oldest-ever winner in 2018 and was paid £500,000 for his stint, will fly back out for round two in autumn before the series airs in the New Year. 'It's going to be a real coup,' a source told the paper. 'Harry is TV gold and was first on the list of wannabe celebrity contestants.' The football icon's win in the main series was watched by 11million people, with the nation reduced to tears as he was reunited with his wife, Sandra, on the bridge after, having frequently declared his love for her while in camp. Harry's first run for Jungle champ made him one of the programme's high earners, but the likes of Coleen Rooney and Nigel Farage still come out on top, having received a mega £1.5million for their signings. And Harry's people are remaining tight-lipped on his career plans currently, as a spokesperson for the sports star said in response to the rumours: 'This is speculation.' Meanwhile, there's another huge name already attached to the upcoming South Africa series… and it's Gemma Collins. The Towie star and TV personality, 44, is one of the most treasured personalities on British TV, and ITV is apparently hoping she'll boost viewing figures again this time around. Gemma infamously only managed three days in the Jungle when she was last on the show and made no secret of how much she hated every second. 'People who murder get treated better than this,' she famously said before quitting. 'That's the truth. Even a murderer gets fed three times a day.' Gemma's tears and tantrums gave social media a meme collection that still gets used today, so it's no surprise she's wanted back. A source told The Sun previously: 'She hated it first time round, but knows it would be TV gold for her fans if she gave it another go. 'The discussions could go either way, but signing her would be a huge win for execs.' For Gemma fans hoping she'll give I'm A Celebrity a second try, the recent rumours line up very nicely with comments the Dancing On Ice star made in 2019. Speaking on The Jonathan Ross Show, she said: 'I will never forget getting the call. Looking back, I don't feel I was ready for that show. I was new to TV; I was the underdog on Towie. 'I wasn't the best-looking girl, I didn't have a model figure, I was this car girl from Romford selling cars. I was being put in the Jungle, and in hindsight, I wasn't ready for it.' She continued: I felt hugely out of my depth—I was petrified. If I was to go back now, I've got more experience. I've got a tougher skin now, and I think that's where the GC came into play. If they asked me back, yes, I'd go back.' Things didn't get off to a good start when Gemma went into the jungle in 2014, firstly refusing to parachute into camp with the rest of her teammates. She then withdrew due to panic attacks and later said that her ex-boyfriend, Alexander Moss, had 'severely beaten' her the night before she joined. The reality star said that ITV advised against her entering at first, but Gemma insisted she didn't want to waste the opportunity of a lifetime. Alexander, now 44, was eventually jailed for 21 months in 2019. More Trending Gemma told the Everything I Know About Me podcast: '[There was] all the embarrassment of like, you know what the TV programmes were saying, 'Gemma Collins left the Jungle, she was hungry, she was this.' And it wasn't my fault. 'I can remember lying in my flat where I lived and just thinking, I just want to die. I haven't done anything wrong. I've left the Jungle because of something that happened to me.' ITV has been contacted for comment. I'm a Celebrity… South Africa will return to ITV1 and ITVX early next year. Got a story? Credit: BackGrid Back on the outside, Harrison has made a stylish appearance at Wembley Arena tonight to watch the highly anticipated Usyk vs Dubois boxing match. The Love Island bombshell rocked a bold streetwear look as he arrived with Celebrity Aesthetic Doctor and his close friend Dr Rosh. Dr Rosh had given the reality star his pre-villa glow up before he entered the villa. Elaborating on the treatment, the Dr told The Sun: "We focused on his tear troughs - a common area where genetics can cause under-eye hollowness, no matter how much sleep or skincare you get. "A subtle amount of tear trough filler helped smooth and brighten the area, making him look fresher and more awake without changing his natural features." Dr Roshan Ravindran — known as Dr Rosh - has a huge client base of celebrity names, and often treats Love Island stars. However, during his stint in the villa, fans were shocked when Harris was seen making a plea to re-couple with cabana server Toni, despite bedding Lauren the night before. But Harrison, from Burton upon Trent, but now based in Miami, said he has no regrets about taking things to the next level on TV. Asked how he felt about his mum and dad knowing what he had done, he said: 'I hope they didn't see. But listen, it was a natural thing. 'I don't think I intended to have sex in the villa, but in there all the Islanders could tell we were so attracted to each other. Naturally, it was going to happen. Fans slam Love Island's Lauren for 'embarrassing' move after she's axed from the villa 'The spark between us was crazy. I probably wasn't thinking about my parents and them watching it, but it naturally happened and I don't regret it.' Lauren, 26, was booted out of the villa after new bombshell Angel picked Ty to couple up with. The brunette begged Harrison to come with her but he insisted he wanted to sleep on it. Lauren broke down in tears but said she would wait for him on the outside and insisted: "I only want you." She begged Harrison to follow and, 24 hours later, he made the choice to go. Speaking about Lauren, Harrison said: 'We will make the distance work. It will be no issue. 'We left on good terms, but the two days prior to leaving, we weren't talking properly. 'So it would be good to have a conversation, get everything out in the open and hopefully we move forward from there. 'I feel very strongly about the girl. 'I wouldn't have left if I didn't. 'I have no doubt in my mind that she'll be my girlfriend one day. I'm buzzing to see her and reunite. She's such a great girl.' 7 Harrison was attending the Usyk vs Dubois boxing match 7 Harrison arrived with Celebrity Aesthetic Doctor and his close friend Dr Rosh Credit: BackGrid 7 Harrison revealed that he thought Lauren was a great girl Credit: BackGrid
