"Wolfenstein" TV Series in Works
A TV series adaptation of the 'Wolfenstein' video games is in development at Amazon MGM Studios.
While the exact plot details are being kept under wraps, the official logline of the series simply states, 'The story of killing Nazis is evergreen.'
Patrick Somerville is attached to serve as the creator, writer, executive producer, and showrunner on the project under his chaoticgood.tv production banner. Jonah Nolan, Lisa Joy, and Athena Wickham will executive produce via Kilter Films. James Altman of Keyframe Films and Jerk Gustafsson of 'Wolfenstein' developer MachineGames will also executive produce.
The 'Wolfenstein' franchise helped popularize first-person shooter video games. It have largely centered on U.S. World War II solider William 'B.J.' Blazkowicz.
In the games, Blazkowicz goes behind enemy lines to fight the Nazis, only to discover they are engaging in bizarre experiments and the occult in an attempt to tip the scales of the war in their favor.
The first game in the franchise, 'Castle Wolfenstein,' was released in 1981. It and the 1984 sequel, 'Beyond Castle Wolfenstein,' were top-down perspective games. Starting with 'Wolfenstein 3D' in 1992, the games shifted to first-person shooters.
There are 14 games in the 'Wolfenstein' series in total, with the most recent being the VR game 'Wolfenstein: Cyberpilot.'
The games are currently developed by MachineGames and published by Bethesda Softworks.
It was previously announced that a film version of the games was in the works back in 2012, but it never moved forward.
Should this project move forward, it would be the latest video game TV series at Amazon for Kilter Films.
The company currently produces the hit Prime Video series 'Fallout,' which is currently prepping to release its second season in December and has already been renewed for a third.
In addition, Kilter has partnered with Michael B. Jordan's Outlier Society to produce the TV adaptation of Rebecca Yarros' adult fantasy novel 'Fourth Wing' for Amazon.
The company is also known for producing 'The Peripheral' starring Chloe Grace Moretz for Amazon as well as for the hit series 'Westworld' at HBO and 'Person of Interest' at CBS.
Amazon has multiple other projects in development based on games. Those include a 'Mass Effect' TV series, a 'God of War' series (which originally got greenlit in 2022), and a series based on the tabletop wargame 'Warhammer 40,000' starring Henry Cavill.

Iran Confirms Nahid-2 Satellite is Operational in Orbit
Yara Sameh The Iranian Space Agency (ISA) has confirmed successful communication with the newly launched Nahid-2 satellite, having received its initial telemetry signals. This is reported by the Mehr News Agency , a partner of TV BRICS. According to ISA chief Hossein Salariyeh, these signals indicate that the satellite is stable and functioning as intended in its designated orbit following its launch from Russia's Vostochny Cosmodrome on 25 July. Nahid-2 is a telecommunications satellite that utilises the Ku-band, commonly used for broadband connectivity across the globe. Salariyeh stated that post-launch efforts are now focused on systematically testing each subsystem to ensure optimal performance. The satellite, entirely designed and built domestically, is equipped with a range of features including secure data transmission, onboard storage, and direct communication with ground stations. Madonna Drops Album "Veronica Electronica": Stream It Now
Yara Sameh "Veronica Electronica" has finally entered the zone. After 27 years, Madonna's long-rumored "Ray of Light" remix album became a reality on Friday. The project features rare and unreleased edits of songs from her 1998 masterpiece. Remixers on the project include "Ray of Light" co-creator William Orbit and clubs kings Peter Rauhofer, Sasha, BT and Victor Calderone. It also includes the original demo of 'Gone, Gone, Gone,' a previously unreleased recording co-produced by Madonna and Rick Nowels, who co-wrote several Ray of Light tracks alongside her in the late '90s. The rest of the tracklist includes 'Drowned World/Substitute For Love,' 'Ray Of Light,' 'Skin,' 'Nothing Really Matters,' 'Sky Fits Heaven,' 'Frozen,' and 'The Power Of Good-Bye.' Released in February of 1998, "Ray of Light" remained 78 weeks on the Billboard 200, peaking at No. 2. (The Titanic soundtrack hindered it from achieving the top spot.) The record generated four Hot 100 hits with the title track, 'Frozen,' 'The Power of Goodbye' and 'Nothing Really Matters' and won four Grammy awards, including the trophy for best pop album, in 1999. "Ray of Light" was a major moment for electronic music's mainstream crossover, with Madonna being the first major pop artist to do an entirely electronic album and thus helping push '90s club culture onto radio and into pop culture. While "Veronica Electronica" was originally intended to be a remix companion to "Ray of Light," it was shelved due to the success of the album, which ultimately sold more than 16 million copies. Hussain Al Jassmi to Present First-Ever Concert in North Coast on August 8
Yara Sameh Emirati superstar Hussain Al Jassmi will perform live at the Seashore Stage in North Coast, Egypt, on Friday, August 8. He is set to present several of his popular and latest songs. The concert marks Al Jassmi's first-ever concert in the North Coast. Al Jassmi, born in Khorfakkan on August 25, 1979, is one of the most prominent singers in the Arab World. He released his first single 'Bawadaak', followed by 'Wallah Mayiswa', and 'Bassbour Al Fourgakom'.
