Malaika Arora reveals her pre-makeup skincare ritual; Know 6 skin prep steps she swears by
Her secret to a flawless skin is her pre-makeup skincare regime. The diva follows a skincare routine that's smart, simple, and deeply rooted in self-care. Let's take a peek into Malaika's pre-makeup skincare ritual, that includes these 6 pre-makeup steps she swears by.
The initial step is to hydrate your skin using a face mist before applying makeup, and Malaika never skips it. She starts her skincare ritual with a generous spritz of hydrating face mist. This step helps in waking up the skin, boosting moisture levels, and giving your skin a dewy freshness. This hydration ensures that the skin doesn't feel tight or dry and also acts as a prepping base to absorb the makeup products more effectively.
A luxurious step in her skincare ritual is a jade roller massage. Malaika glides the cool roller across her face, which not only helps in reducing puffiness but also boosts blood circulation. The massage helps in contouring and sculpting the face slightly, a great way to de-stress before makeup application.
To deepen the skin-prepping process, she uses a Gua Sha tool for a gentle and firm face massage. This beauty ritual helps tone facial muscles, relieves tension, and enhances skin elasticity. For Malaika, it's a meditative moment to lift and firm the skin before the makeup comes on.
Next, she addresses one of the most delicate areas of the face, the under eyes. Malaika applies under eye patches to reduce puffiness and to add a cooling, soothing effect. These patches help reduce early morning swelling and provide light hydration, making the under-eye area smoother and more receptive to concealer and makeup.
While most focus only on their face, Malaika doesn't skip her neck area. She uses a nourishing moisturiser to hydrate and smoothen the skin around the neck. Since this area is equally visible and prone to dryness, moisturising it ensures even texture and a consistent glow from face to décolletage.
No look is complete without soft, smooth lips. To wrap up her pre-makeup skincare, Malaika applies a hydrating lip balm. This not only prevents chapping but ensures that any lipstick or lip gloss applied later sits beautifully and doesn't crack or flake.
To conclude, Malaika Arora's pre-makeup skincare routine is a beautiful blend of simplicity and self-care. With a focus on hydration, relaxation, and facial massage techniques, it's no wonder her skin looks so naturally radiant.

Ozzy Osbourne Passes Away: Coldplay, Nirvana, Metallica, ACDC and More Musical Legends Remember Star
Black Sabbath's lead performer, Ozzy Osbourne, who has been the face of the band for many years, passed away on July 22 in the peace of his home. A statement shared by his family mentioned how he was 'surrounded by love' and asked for privacy. Now, the music industry has stepped forward to remember the metal legend that he was, led by his own teammates and fellow performers. Coldplay led a Nashville tribute in the form of a cover of his song Changes, and a heartfelt dedication at their show. Chris Martin was seen saying, 'We'd like to dedicate this whole show to the incredible genius, talent, and character called gift to the world who was Ozzy Osbourne. We send our love to his family. Ozzy, we love you, wherever you're going.' Fellow musicians could not believe the loss to the metal world, and each contributed their share of honor to the 76-year-old. Nirvana dropped a tribute on their X account, 'Thank you Ozzy Osbourne for the inspiration. @BlackSabbath is the template for heavy Rock.' Motörhead shared, 'We lost our dear friend today. Ozzy was a pioneer, a guiding force for all in hard rock and metal, and a great guy too.' Talking about the relationship between their band's frontman with that of Black Sabbath, they said, 'Lemmy and Ozzy were brothers in arms who enjoyed many adventures together, and his loss is seismic. RIP Ozzy, we will always love and celebrate you." AC/DC wrote, 'So sad! A great loss to all that loved him.' Aerosmith celebrated the many contributions of the star, "From Black Sabbath to his solo work, Ozzy redefined what it meant to be heavy. He did it all with heart, grit, and that wild spirit only he could bring.' Metallica continued to remember him in not one but two tributes, 'It's impossible to put into words what Ozzy Osbourne has meant to Metallica. Hero, icon, pioneer, inspiration, mentor, and, most of all, friend are a few that come to mind," they wrote on X crediting Ozzy and Sharon for transforming their lives and careers. Fans from around the world, including well-known celebrities remembered the great musician that the Black Sabbath star was. David Beckham expressed sadness with, "to see Ozzy leave us. Thank you for entertaining us. Sending love to Sharon, the kids & the family". Singer-songwriter Rod Stewart shared, "Bye, bye Ozzy. Sleep well, my friend. I'll see you up there - later rather than sooner". "He was a dear friend and a huge trailblazer who secured his place in the pantheon of rock gods - a true legend," Elton John wrote in an Instagram post. "He was also one of the funniest people I've ever met. I will miss him dearly. To Sharon and the family, I send my condolences and love." Anthrax and Yungblud who performed at the group's last concert expressed disbelief with the band saying, 'Like so many around the world, today's news hit us with truly insane shock and sadness. Ozzy, thank you for everything. Simply put, none of us would be us without you,' and the soloist sharing, 'I didn't think you would leave so soon. The last time we met you were so full of life and your laugh filled up the room. I will never forget you - you will be in every single note I sing and with me every single time I walk on stage. Your cross around my neck is the most precious thing I own. You asked me once if there was anything you could do for me and as I said then and as I will say now for all of us the music was enough,' calling him a GOAT.

Tanushree Dutta alleges harassment at home, asks for help
New Delhi, Jul 23 (PTI) Actor Tanushree Dutta, whose complaint against actor Nana Patekar started the #MeToo movement in India, has put out an emotional social media post alleging that she has been harassed in her home for seven years and calling for someone to help her 'before it's too late". In a series of posts on Instagram on Tuesday night, the actor said she has been harassed so much that she has fallen sick. Dutta, who alleged that the harassment has been 'going on since 2018 #metoo", said she had to call the cops and they have asked her to register a 'proper complaint". 'Please someone help me! Do something before it's too late," a crying Dutta captioned her video on her Instagram. 'Guys, I am being harassed in my own home. I am being troubled in my own house. I just called the cops and they have asked me to come to the police station to lodge a proper complaint… I will probably go tomorrow or day after," the distressed actor said. Declaring that she was unwell and been unable to work, Dutta said her house is messy and she can't hire maids. 'I have had terrible experience with maids who come in and steal and do other things. People bang the door of my house. I am being troubled, please help me," Dutta said in the video without naming any one. The actor, 41, known for her role in movies 'Aashiq Banaya Aapne", 'Chocolate" and 'Dhol", said she has dealt with loud noises and 'other very very loud banging noises above her roof and outside her door almost every day at odd hours since 2020!" 'I got tired of complaining to the building management and gave up a few years ago. Now I just live with it and put headphones with Hindu mantras to distract my mind and keep my sanity," the actor said. In 2018, the actor had accused Patekar and three others of harassing and misbehaving with her in 2008 when she was shooting a song on the sets of the film 'Horn Ok Pleasss". After she came out with her allegation, a number of women came forward with their stories of harassment and sexual abuse with many naming and shaming their alleged abusers. Tanushree Dutta Hits Back At Netizens Calling Her Harassment Video A Gimmick: ‘Chor Ki Daadhi Mein...'
Tanushree Dutta slams trolls accusing her of faking a harassment video for limelight, says she didn't name anyone and criticises hateful comments on social media. Tanushree Dutta left social media shocked when she dropped a video yesterday claiming that she has been harassed in her own house. After the video of the actress went viral, while several showed concern for her, many claimed she was doing it to get into the limelight. Now, Tanushree Dutta has slammed netizens for calling her distressed video a gimmick to gain attention. A user, while reacting to the video, shared, 'I am a fan of Tanushree ma'am, but this time, I think she wants to be in the limelight. I may be wrong, but it seems so. Sorry if my words hurt you, ma'am, but this is what I felt after watching your video." While reacting and replying to this user, Tanushree wrote, 'Really?? Checked ur profile. Aaj hi banaya Insta account (You made the profile today itself) to post this comment." Another Instagram user commented, 'Nautanki karna band karo madam… Log jaan gaye hain tumhari asliyat. Ghaadi ghaadi drama karti ho. We all are fed up with your third-class acting. If you're not safe in Mumbai, then go back to the USA. And why are you putting your life in danger if anything is true? Nana [Patekar] is a great human being and one of the best actors in Bollywood. Don't try to defame him, madam… Agar kaam nahi mil raha toh yeh sab karke bhi kuch kaam nahi milega Bollywood mein. Sab jaan gaye hain tumhe (Stop this drama. We all know the truth. You won't get work by doing all this)." Tanushree, while hitting back, said, 'Hmmm. Maine toh iss post mein Nana ka naam bhi nahi liya. Chor ki daadhi mein tinka (I did not even take Nana's name in the post. A guilty conscience needs no accuser)!!" On Tuesday night, Tanushree Dutta took to her Instagram handle and dropped a video in which she claimed that she is being harassed by her family. In the video, Tanushree was seen visibly distressed as she considered taking action against her family members. 'I am being harassed in my own home. I will probably go tomorrow or the day after. I am not well. Mujhe itna pareshaan kiya gaya hai pichle 4 to 5 saalon mein," she said.
