Helen Skelton 'rinsing every second' out of relationship

The 41-year-old mum of three regularly updates viewers and readers on how she stays happy and how she juggles home and professional life.
Ahead of entering her 42nd year, Helen reflected on her greatest personal learning.
"You've just got to sit in the moment that you're in," she told Hello!
We've had lots of new arrivals on the farm over the last few days - one of them being this adorable American Miniature Horse, pictured with mum Pearl!

"That's the good thing about being a countryside person and being a sports person. It's the ultimate lesson in that nothing stays the same.
"When you're in a good time, just really lean into it and make the most of it – if your relationship is good or your kids are good, just rinse every second of it but equally, the bad times don't last either. Tough times don't stay tough forever.

Coronation Street's Helen Flanagan shows off painful 'black eye' after surgery

Coronation Street star Helen Flanagan - who played Rosie Webster on the ITV soap - showed off her 'black eye' after undergoing cosmetic surgery Helen Flanagan has shown off her 'black eyes' after undergoing cosmetic surgery. The Coronation Street star - who played Rosie Webster in the ITV soap - was seen sporting some bruising around her eye in a new post on social media. ‌ The Corrie star has been open about the surgery she has undergone, which at times she has been heavily criticised for. She opened up in 2022 about undergoing a breast enhancement and said it really helped her to get her confidence back. ‌ Speaking a few years back, she said of her decision: "I was quite open here on Instagram in January about my recent boob job. This was something I wanted to do for a really long time and by doing so I've really got my confidence back. ‌ "I breastfed in total for three years. Matilda I fed for eight months. Delilah I fed for 13 months. Charlie I fed for 14 months. As soon as I finished my breastfeeding journey with Charlie I wanted to get them done pretty much straight away. I felt like you could tie them in a bow. I had to wait though for six months after feeding and then I went for it in January." She added: "I don't regret one second of my breastfeeding journeys they were precious times. I was a little bit nervous I was worried they were going to be too big for my frame but they are so perfect for me and so in proportion." ‌ As part of her latest treatment, Helen underwent polynucleotide cosmetic facial surgery in her latest procedure. It is a type of cosmetic surgery, which uses DNA fragments to help to rejuvenate and revitalise the skin. It gives a youthful and radiant complexion but can initially cause redness, swelling and bruising where they are injected. In 2019, Helen also decided to have Botox and explained how it has made her feel more confident. ‌ "I felt super tired from having Delilah and I wanted to feel fresher and more confident in myself. I would take pictures on my phone with the kids and would be shocked how much older I looked where in my head I still feel like I'm 20," she said. "I'm so happy with my Botox and if you're like me and still want to look 23, then it's a good idea." Just a few weeks ago, Helen recalled how she was verbally abused by a man on the Tube for standing up for another woman. She explained how the woman had been harassed by the man and when she stood up for the woman, she was verbally abused too. "He was really awful and I actually felt really intimidated, and I felt like I couldn't say much to him because I did feel really intimidated by him. He said to me, it was like the weirdest thing he could have said, 'You've got so much Botox in your forehead', and I was sat there with an iced coffee, and he was like, 'I'm surprised you can even drink through a straw,'" she recalled.

The Legend of Rooney's Ring review – mythical Wayne and Coleen bust-up becomes mythically silly panto

Sometimes fake news can be fun. Take the time word went around Liverpool that a furious Coleen McLoughlin had taken off Wayne Rooney's engagement ring and thrown it into a bush. The city's detectorists came out in force. Things got so out of hand that the National Trust had to ban treasure seekers from the Formby Point nature reserve for fear the search for the £25,000 ring would disturb the squirrels. The evidence of Coleen being in the squirrel sanctuary, let alone discarding the ring, is on the fictional side of flimsy. Screenwriter turned playwright Helen Serafinowicz has the comic instinct to see how funny this is. She also has the imagination to take it one step further. In The Legend of Rooney's Ring, she reframes an urban myth as a genuine myth. It is set in a netherworld halfway between the Brothers Grimm and JRR Tolkien, where a storybook princess known as C'leen (a sparky Emma Grace Arends) falls in love with a warrior by the unlikely name of Wayne (a brutish John May). It looks as though the obstacle to their romance will be C'leen's regal parents, but the threat is much worse: entering with the menace of Darth Vader is an orange-faced Emperor Trump (a bullying Terry Mynott) who casts a spell on Wayne. For as long as the warrior possesses the ring, he will be irresistible to women. His fate, as the play has it, is to be a fanny magnet. Delivered with the kind of pantomime panache for which this theatre is famed, Stephen Fletcher's production is a brassy mix of broad-brushstroke confrontations and lively pop songs (some more pertinent than others). But pantomimes are sustained by archetypal forces of good and evil, without which the silliness becomes tiresome. That is what happens here: the Rooney's relationship is too shallow to care about and Emperor Trump's real-life counterpart is far more a threat than this cartoonish dolt and his desire to make Liverpool great again. After an opening scene in which wild-haired peasants hunt for the ring, Serafinowicz veers off the thing that made this story funny in the first place. Instead, she turns a promising idea into a two-hour Crackerjack sketch. At Royal Court, Liverpool, until 23 August.

EastEnders newcomer has famous family members who have also starred in BBC soap

EastEnders star Max Murray has been revealed as the son of well known soap and TV drama actress Gina Murray who has appeared in the soap alongside his aunt Mazz Murray EastEnders star Max Murray may have just landed a role on the BBC soap alongside legendary actors but it has now been revealed that he comes from a long-line of established actors and singers in his family. The young actor was announced as Joel Marshall back in February this year. ‌ Max is the son of Gina Murray, who has starred in a number of well known programmes including The Bill, Doctors and The Hunt for Raoul Moat. She appeared in the BBC soap in 2014 and played a character called Helen. ‌ Helen arrived in Albert Square as a hair specialist to help Carol Jackson, who was struggling with losing her hair as she fought off cancer. It was Helen's role to help Carol find a wig. ‌ But Max is also linked to Mazz Murray who is a successful TV and theatre actress. Back in 2004, Mazz starred as a waitress called Miranda who had a brawl with Heather Trott and Shirley Carter. When it comes to the stage, Mazz had starred in Sunset Boulevard, Mamma Mia and Chicago to name but a few. In 2017, Mazz returned to Walford but this time was playing a character called Julie. Julie played a divorced woman who hired Keanu Taylor as a male escort for a night of fun and frolics. ‌ Joel Marshall is the step-son of Vicky Fowler, who returned to the square for the funeral of her uncle Martin Fowler. Her new boyfriend Ross is played by Alex Walkinshaw. At the time Max's new role was announced, he told the Mirror: "It's an absolute privilege and honour to be joining such a wonderful production full of a lovely cast and crew." ‌ He added: "I'm really looking forward to introducing Joel to EastEnders viewers and telling his story." Executive Producer Chris Clenshaw went on to say: "We're delighted to have the very talented Alice, Alex and Max with us. Vicky is back under the most tragic of circumstances, representing her distraught mum Michelle, and she's changed a lot since we last saw her. "We're excited to let viewers get reacquainted with Vicky and to introduce Ross and Joel to the Square. It won't be long before Vicky and this new branch of the Fowler family are making waves in Walford."
