Katie Price's boyfriend JJ Slater 'gives her ultimatum' amid split rumours
Katie Price has been given an "ultimatum" by her boyfriend JJ Slater, according to a source. The former glamour model, 47, confessed last week that she was on the verge of homelessness.
The news comes as she needs to vacate her rented property due to the landlord selling it and is finding it difficult to secure a new home. The source suggested as reported by the Mirror, that between Katie's financial woes and her drama-filled lifestyle, MAFS star JJ, 33, is insisting she takes things more seriously.
"JJ has had enough of all the drama," they revealed to New. " Katie isn't responsible with money and has been struggling with the moving situation, which JJ feels she sometimes takes out on him. He has given Katie an ultimatum, explaining that she needs to start taking accountability for her finances and get her ducks in a row – if they're to have a real chance together."
Recently, speculation was mounting when JJ was missing from Katie's Instagram page for over a month. Meanwhile, Katie hasn't featured on his social media since April and neither of the pair has publicly discussed their relationship in weeks.
This led fans to speculate whether there is trouble in paradise. Katie and JJ have previously enjoyed multiple romantic holidays, happily posting affectionate photos together on social media.
However, seemingly quashing any rumours of a break-up, Katie posted a photo on Instagram during a photoshoot last week which showed JJ sitting in the foreground.
Discussing her unstable housing situation, the mum-of-five revealed on an episode of her podcast, The Katie Price Show, that she was unable to rent a new home due to difficulties in finding a guarantor.
"It p****s me off," Katie expressed. "Some houses I look at, I can't get a guarantor. Some people don't earn enough to be one for me. One house I do want, the landlord wants six months' rent up front and a guarantor – even though I've got the best reference ever [from her former landlord]."
Since being legally evicted from her Mucky Mansion property in May last year, following a bankruptcy declaration in March 2024, Katie has been renting a £5,000-a-month new build. She had owned the home since 2014 and it was sold last December.
It's believed that JJ has been staying at the property with her in recent months, but last week reports emerged that the reality star had moved out and they had parted ways.
However, a source speaking to the Mirror denied this, stating that the couple are still very much together, but they did admit the pair have issues they need to address.
"Katie and JJ are on the rocks," the source alleged to the publication. "He is half living with her and half not – it's a tricky situation at the moment. He feels like, when they are living together, he becomes a chopping board for her to take stress out on, so that's something that needs to change."
The pair first connected after JJ gained fame during his appearance on Married At First Sight U in 2023. Katie then reached out to him on Instagram, and they started their romance at the beginning of 2024, making their relationship official in February.
The duo appeared to progress their relationship very quickly, with Katie revealing last December her eagerness to tie the knot with JJ, declaring, "I'd love to get married again."
Should the pair eventually tie the knot, it would mark Katie's fourth trip down the aisle, following her previous unsuccessful marriages to Peter Andre, Alex Reid and Kieran Hayler.
Most recently, she was engaged to Carl Woods, however the pair parted ways at the end of 2023 following a rocky romance. Katie, who is mum to Harvey, 23, Junior, 20, Princess, 18, Jett, 11, and Bunny, 10, has been open about her longing to expand her family further and even considered IVF treatment with Carl.
Seemingly confirming this remains an ambition she hopes to fulfil with JJ, who has no children of his own, Katie revealed in November, "I'm at that stage and I do want more kids. And I don't want to be told by a doctor or something that I can't have more. I know I'm not done. If I could have two more kids, I would."
Whether those family aspirations will materialise with JJ remains to be seen. The source claimed the love is certainly there, things just need to change between them.
"JJ does love Katie and he knows they can be really happy," said the source. "It's just a case of her not getting so involved in drama all of the time and taking things more seriously. That's all JJ wants."

Comedian Mo Gilligan confirms 'secret child' in shock social media post
To view this video please enable JavaScript, and consider upgrading to a web browser that supports HTML5 video Comic Mo Gilligan has seemingly addressed claims that he has a secret child with a model in a new story on Instagram. The 37-year-old TV personality reportedly secretly fathered a child following a short-term relationship with model Selina Christoforou and was said to be expecting another baby with wellness influencer Taia Tulher, his current partner. After days of fierce speculation, Gilligan finally broke his silence on social media by sharing a video on his Instagram story of him playing with a toddler with a heart emoji over the child's face. The short black-and-white video was paired with the song Emotionless by Drake, specifically the lyrics: 'I wasn't hidin' my kid from the world / I was hidin' the world from my kid, 'From empty souls, who just wake up and look to debate / Until you starin' at your seed, you can never relate, 'Breakin' news in my life, I don't run to the blogs / The only ones I wanna tell are the ones I can call, 'They always ask, why let the story run if it's false? /You know, a wise man once said nothin' at all.' More Trending There is no further explanation or comment on the post from Gilligan providing details on exactly who the child is. It comes after The Sun reported that the Masked Singer judge had a brief romance with Christoforou in 2023, after the pair connected via social media. Their son, named Rudi, was born in January 2024. Insiders suggested that he sees the child 'semi-regularly'. Got a story? Vick Hope and Calvin Harris at The Brit Awards 2024 (Ian West/PA) The comments section was flooded with congratulations from fans around the world as well as fellow musicians including Jade Thirlwall and Craig David. Among the supporters was singer Becky Hill who posted in the comments: 'Love to see the placenta!! Amazing we grow a whole new organ to provide life! Good job not wasting it either, that's some goddess magic right there!' Celebrities who have reportedly eaten their own placenta include reality star and businesswoman Kim Kardashian, American singer and actress Mandy Moore, and Mad Men star January Jones. Hope, 35, is best known for presenting the BBC Radio 1 drivetime show Going Home. She reportedly married the Dumfries-born DJ in 2023. Celebrity SAS star Adam Collard blamed himself for partner Laura Woods' miscarriage
Celebrity SAS star Adam Collard blamed himself for partner Laura Woods' miscarriage The former Love Island star is currently competing on the gruelling Channel 4 programme Laura Woods and Adam Collard (Image: INSTAGRAM) Reality TV star Adam Collard has spoken publicly for the first time about the heartbreak he and his fiancée Laura Woods endured after suffering a miscarriage. Collard revealed the couple lost their baby when Laura was 11 weeks pregnant, just weeks before she conceived again. In January 2025, the couple welcomed a baby boy, Leo. The 29-year-old, who rose to fame on Love Island and has since appeared on Celebs Go Dating, is currently taking on brutal physical and mental challenges in the upcoming series of Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins, which began on Sunday. In a deeply personal moment on the show, Collard reflects on the tragedy and admits he blamed himself at the time, believing it to be retribution for his behaviour on reality TV. 'I know it's a terrible way to look at it, but I felt like it was bad karma for me being on dating shows and upsetting too many people,' he says. 'I felt like that was some higher power's way of being like, 'Well, there you go, that's what you have to carry.'' Article continues below He added: 'I was just a cocky little p***k, being a love rat, jumping from girl to girl. I want to show I'm not that man any more.' Collard became known for his controversial stints on Love Island in both 2018 and 2022, where he was at the centre of several short-lived romances. His time on the show earned him a reputation for womanising — coupling up with four different contestants during his first appearance. He later dated Strictly Come Dancing star Zara McDermott for seven months and, more recently, Welsh contestant Paige Thorne during his 2022 return to the villa. That relationship also ended quickly after the show, with Collard later admitting he 'used' Paige to prolong his stay in the competition. He also had a brief relationship with model Lottie Moss after they met on Celebs Go Dating, though that ended shortly after he was accused of cheating. Collard says meeting presenter Laura marked a turning point in his life. The pair began dating in October 2023 and quickly built a strong relationship, announcing they were expecting a child the following year. He described Laura as 'the one' and credited her support, alongside his experience on Celebrity SAS, as having a lasting impact on his mental health. Article continues below 'On a personal level, I wanted to test myself mentally,' he said. 'I had a lot of stuff going on before I went on Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins, and I've got to be honest — but credit to the show — I actually think it had the most positive impact on my mental health.'
