RIYADH — The Public Investment Fund (PIF) announced the launch of Tasama Business Services Company, a fully owned subsidiary designed to strengthen Saudi Arabia's integrated business solutions ecosystem and support growth across both public and private sectors.
Tasama is the result of a merger between BIAC, a former subsidiary of Saudi Technology Development and Investment Company (TAQNIA), and PIF's Shared Services Center.
The new entity aims to serve as a national provider of comprehensive business services, streamlining operations and enabling efficiency.
The company will offer a full suite of services, including accounting support, HR and procurement services, digital solutions, incubator operations, and workspace solutions. These services are tailored to empower startups and support global companies operating in Saudi Arabia.
Tasama CEO Eng. Mohammed Al-Jasser said the company is committed to elevating the business services sector, positioning it as a strategic pillar of the national economy.He highlighted Tasami's role in fostering innovation, developing Saudi talent, and building on BIAC's legacy of success across the public and private sectors.Al-Jasser added that Tasama will be a driving force in shaping the future of business services in the Kingdom, contributing to the expansion of Saudi Arabia's tech ecosystem and enabling a dynamic business environment.As part of its national growth strategy, Tasama plans to expand its footprint across the Kingdom to become the leading provider of business services, aligning with PIF's broader objectives of economic diversification and private sector enablement under Vision 2030.

One key initiative is the integrated logistics zone at Jeddah Islamic Port, directly linked to the main seaport, customs warehouses, and air cargo noted that the zone will soon be connected by rail to King Abdulaziz International Airport through the upcoming land bridge unified national digital logistics platform, which links customs, ports, airlines, and freight forwarders, has already cut customs clearance times by more than 30%, streamlining cargo flow across the in mid-2021, the National Transport and Logistics Strategy is a cornerstone of Saudi Vision 2030. RIYADH: Diriyah Gov. Prince Fahd bin Saad bin Abdullah has praised the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture for developing the date production sector in the Kingdom and enhancing the quality of dates as a national product. He highlighted the ministry's support programs for farmers and initiatives that add value to dates, aligning with Vision 2030 goals, the Saudi Press Agency reported. His remarks came during the inauguration of the Diriyah Dates Season and accompanying exhibition, which runs until July 24. The event, organized by the National Center for Palms and Dates, aims to boost the sale of Saudi dates locally and globally, and provide an insight into Diriyah's heritage through cultural and social activities. The exhibition features booths for date vendors, processed date products, palm by-products and items from family-run cottage industries. It also has restaurants, cafes, food trucks, workshops for adults and children, a date auction zone and a horse parade. The Ministry of Culture is also represented with a booth showcasing artisans specializing in palm-based crafts as part of the Year of Handicrafts. The Kingdom's palm and date sector is growing rapidly. According to figures from the General Authority for Statistics production surpassed 1.9 million tonnes in 2024, with SR1.7 billion ($453 million) worth of dates exported to 133 countries, up significantly from the previous year. This growth reflects the Kingdom's strong production capacity and government efforts to improve quality, expand global outreach and develop supply chains.
