'It's About Him!' Cowboys Icon Deion Ripped By Coach As Shedeur Preps for Browns Camp

'It's About Him!' Cowboys Icon Deion Ripped By Coach As Shedeur Preps for Browns Camp originally appeared on Athlon Sports. FRISCO - From a Dallas Cowboys perspective? Deion Sanders, even after all these years - and even after his rightful ascent into the Hall of Fame - remains a polarizing figure. Advertisement And in our 30-plus seasons of covering him? We've always thought "Prime Time'' turned "Coach Prime'' rather liked it that way. Now that the dust has settled on the NFL Draft, and his QB son Shedeur Sanders is very much in the NFL spotlight, the Cleveland Browns are focused on dealing with a next-gen version of Sanders polarization. And one expert thinks it all goes back to Deion. Many have criticized Shedeur's Hall of Fame father, Deion, and his involvement in the pre-draft process with regard to Shedeur. Now, Deshaun Watson's personal quarterback coach Quincy Avery is getting in on the opinion game as he appeared on the Maggie and Perloff show recently to put Deion on blast. Advertisement 'The reason I have such a difficult time with Deion is because so many of the things he does, it's about him rather than other people,' Avery said, referring to Sanders' work as the coach at Colorado. 'I think that a lot of people miss that. So we get to see who he is as a person when he has to take on this team without his sons involved.' Avery obviously thinks Deion's work at CU is about self-promotion and the "Sanders brand.'' 'My forecast is that at some point this year, it's going to get really, really difficult and Deion Sanders is going to have to make a real decision,' Avery said. 'Was he doing this the whole time to prop his son up and help him become this top-tier quarterback — which he did help him do? Or does he want to do this because he really cares about the kids?' Avery is a widely-touted personal QB coach notable here because he's sort of "stepping out of line'' in criticizing Deion. So ... it's one thing for, say, FS1's Colin Cowherd to take his shots, as he recently did in likening Deion to a "Pageant Mom." Advertisement 'Spend too much time in the sun and get burned,' Cowherd said. 'Deion was in the sun. Deion spent too much time on television, talking. ... But I have said this over and over, and I will repeat it. Dads, stop talking. Nobody cares. Quarterback Dad has become Pageant Mom. "Your heart is in the right place, you have good intent; you are hurting your sons." Shedeur, of course, fell to Round 5 in the recent NFL Draft despite his dad and others touting him as a first-round prospect. Now he's in Cleveland - a teammate of Avery's star pupil Watson ... and buried on the depth chart. Maybe the polarizing Shedeur will emerge. But for sure, the polarizing Deion is not going away. Chrissy Teigen's Cute New Photos of Her Kids on Vacation Had Mom-Shamers Quick to Dial In

As Chrissy Teigen enjoys a family vacation with her four kids, who she shares with husband John Legend, she can't escape the mom-shamers. The Cravings author shared the cutest new photos and videos with her little ones — and they garnered a ton of rude and invasive comments from people. 'Kiss sandwich 🥪,' Teigen captioned the post, referring to the first video in the carousel. In it, Teigen and Legend sit on a couch with Wren in the middle. They kiss both of Wren's cheeks, squishing them and making the almost 2-year-old smile. Wren sits on his mom's lap, who is dressed casually in a black sports bra and matching leggings, and everyone was quick to remark on her body and fuel pregnancy speculation. More from SheKnows Bindi Irwin's Daughter Grace Stole Her Mom's Phone for the Sweetest Reason & the Resulting Photo Is Perfect '🧐Do we have another bun in the oven 🧐🧐,' one person wrote. Another person rudely said, 'Don't tell me your prego again, you have a drinking problem remember?' Where do people get the audacity to be this mean on the internet?! Others just commented a version of 'Is she pregnant?' because god forbid a woman eat a hamburger and gets bloated. Luckily, people with a bit of human decency defended Teigen. Like one person, who said, 'We would be so pissed if a man made this comment about her appearance/weight. BUT we're totally ok when a woman does it?! When in doubt, don't comment. A woman's weight can go up and down as hormones fluctuate.' Someone else said, 'in the year of our Lord 2025, WHYYYYY are we still asking people this question?' 'wild of you to ask someone you DONT know if they are pregnant 😂' another person addressed the haters. 'she could literally be 39weeks and six days pregnant….. It's not our business.' Exactly! It's a mother's right to announce a pregnancy when and if she decides to. You don't win a prize for guessing if she was pregnant before everyone else! Best case, you ruin someone's moment, worst case, you trigger a wave of grief and/or complicated feelings about a woman's body and family planning. It's just not worth it. Teigen herself addressed the rumors, and for the record, she is not pregnant. 'I wish,' she wrote back. 'Just eating awesome food.' Period! Last year, the Chrissy & Dave Dine Out star was asked on the red carpet if she wanted another baby now that Wren was walking (another question you just shouldn't ask), and Legend piped up from behind her shouting, 'No!' Later, Legend said having four kids is 'just so much love in the house,' and Teigen replied, 'And that's what it would be like if we have a fifth!' Teigen and Legend, who are parents to Wren, Esti, 2, Miles, 7, and Luna, 9, experienced a loss with their baby Jack at 20 weeks pregnant in 2020. In 2021, she told PEOPLE about the heartbreaking experience: 'I've learned how strong physically and mentally a body can be. I've learned how strong I am,' she said. 'This year has been a roller coaster for everybody in the world, including our little family.' How Olivia Munn's Career Was Almost Ruined by The Newsroom Director

Olivia Munn has opened up about a frustrating behind-the-scenes experience from her time on The Newsroom. During a recent interview, she revealed how creative clashes with one of the show's directors nearly ruined her career. Olivia Munn recently opened up about her time on HBO's The Newsroom. She revealed that her behind-the-scenes clashes with one of the show's directors nearly cost her future career opportunities. Speaking candidly on the June 30 episode of Armchair Expert, Munn described how tensions began after her character, Sloan Sabbith, became romantically involved with Don Keefer, played by Thomas Sadoski. Although Munn cherished her role and the audience's positive response to Sloan, she explained that one director insisted on steering her character in a direction she disagreed with. The said director consistently tried to shift her performance to focus more on flirtation and romance, even in scenes where she felt it was out of character. When Munn resisted those changes, she said it created friction. She said, 'I just fought back so much.' Their creative disagreements reached a point where the director accused her of being 'too strong' and 'forceful.' Munn refused to compromise, even when a producer acknowledged the increasing tension. But the issues didn't end there. After The Newsroom, Munn claimed the same director attempted to sabotage a major film opportunity for her. Just before landing a role, her team was informed that the director from The Newsroom had warned the filmmakers that Munn was 'combative' and often late to set. Munn said the accusation was entirely false, adding that she lived only seven minutes from the studio and was always on time. Talking about the director, she said, 'He just was trying to bash me.' Although she ultimately got the role, she said the experience left her frustrated. She added, 'And then I still got the role. But I will always remember that, just because of our conflicts of how we approached a role, he wanted to ruin my chances of getting anything else.'
