Miley Cyrus reveals how she hid her mistakes
The singer-songwriter, 32, took a deep dive into where she was mentally for each of her albums like 'Bangerz and Endless Summer Vacation', in an episode of The Ringer's 'Every Single Album' podcast, reports 'People' magazine.
During their discussion of her 2015 album, 'Miley Cyrus & Her Dead Petz', she revealed where some of her money went without her accountant's knowledge.
"The drugs were the biggest cost, which to hide those from my accountant, we called them vintage clothes', she said. "And so she would get these checks. That happens on touring all the time'.
As per 'People', Miley said over time her accountant would wonder about the "vintage clothes" costs but she always made sure to keep her purchases discreet.
"And every time she saw me, she'd be like, 'Where's that, like, $15,000 original John Lennon T-shirt that you bought?' It's like, 'Oh, it's upstairs', she said. "We just really want to protect it. It's really delicate. The fabric got to take care of it. So I bought a lot of vintage clothes that year'.
Continuing to reflect on 'Miley Cyrus & Her Dead Petz', the 'We Can't Stop' singer admitted she's grateful for how far she's come since that period in her life.
"I'm so glad I survived that time in my life', she said. "I would definitely not encourage anyone else to go this hard, but the fact that I got through it, I'm very glad I got to do it'.
The singer has been open about her sobriety throughout the passing years. In a 2017 interview she said she was "evolving' after giving up substance abuse.

Rihanna on donning multiple hats in Smurfs: 'It was invigorating and exciting'
Singer and actress Rihanna has donned multiple hats in the upcoming movie "The Smurfs". Along with lending her voice to Smurfette, she is also the producer and musical head of the project. Shedding light on playing multiple roles in the drama, Rihanna called it equally thrilling and challenging. Speaking during the global promotions, the 'Battleship' actress talked about her experience of being a part of the movie. "It was invigorating and exciting for me to not only embody a character but also bring my musical life into the mix. We worked with music producers and choreographers whose work I admire. To put those two worlds together was a win-win for everyone. It pushed us all to challenge our artistry", Rihanna added. Rihanna (left) and A$AP Rocky pose for photographers. AP She further revealed that during her childhood in Barbados, "Smurfs" was a part of her routine. The 'Ocean's 8' actress went on to share, "So many mornings, I woke up long before I was supposed to get ready for school just to get that dose of Smurfs." Rihanna added that she has related a lot to the character of Smurfette and what she stands for. "First of all, I have always loved makeup and hair. We all know that. And she's an esthetician. She's also a powerful leader, independent, strong, beautiful, sassy, witty, and very empathetic. I was super-inspired by all of that. I think she loves music too and her favorite genres are hip-hop, reggae, Afrobeats, ballads, and house. That's Smurfette. She needs options," she said. From left: Producer Ryan Harris, Ramsey Naito, Rihanna, Hugo Miller, Laura Miller and director Chris Miller pose for photographers upon arrival at the world premiere of the film "Smurfs" in Brussels on Saturday. AP Rihanna took inspiration for her character from some real-life women, plucking little things from each of them. "They are all so different in personality, tone, and attitude, but I feel like these are the women who are with me daily. Smurfette needed to come from all of us," she concluded. "The Smurfs" will be reaching India on July 18th. The movie will be available in both English and Hindi. Indo-Asian News Service

Charlize shares what her daughters thought about her hairdo for ‘The Old Guard 2'
Hollywood actress Charlize Theron has shared what made her daughters terrified about her. The 49-year-old actress adopted the hairstyle for her part in the new movie 'The Old Guard 2' and it was something that didn't sit well with her daughters. The actress shared that her adopted daughters — Jackson, 12, and August, 9, were far from impressed with the look, reports 'Female First UK'. Charlize told the chat show Late Night with Seth Meyers, 'I have two girls, and they're very, very... they're mostly very girly. And they think of me as a princess. And they want Mom to look like a princess. But they came back from school. I was in my bathroom and I was getting it cut and it had already been coloured. And I just remember looking over and they both came into the room really excited, and then they just both froze. And they just went... and one started crying'. The Oscar-winning star shared, 'One literally started bawling their eyes out. And I had to actually sit down with her and say, 'We all get to be who we want to be. And right now, Mom wants to wear a mullet.' I don't tell you what to do with your hair'. Impersonating one of her children, Charlize added, 'I still don't like it'. As per 'Female First UK', The 'Mad Max: Fury Road' actress revealed last month that her children are unimpressed by her Hollywood career. During an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, Theron quipped, 'My children have zero respect for me. It's just unbelievable, I feel like I'm pretty humble, but every once in a while I'm like, 'There's a Oscar right there'. They are so not impressed with me'. Charlize recalled an incident when her youngest child unflatteringly compared her with Tom Cruise. She explained, 'I was picking up my youngest from dance yesterday and we drove past the new Mission Impossible poster where Tom Cruise is hanging onto some yellow plane, and he just looks really cool'. She further mentioned, 'My kids were with me when I shot 'Old Guard 2' and I worked on this incredibly intricate sequence where we brought in this amazing helicopter pilot, Fred North, and we were gonna choreograph me fighting helicopters and jumping on this real helicopter and hanging off. Shooting 99 per cent of it on a real helicopter as it's trying to shake me off like a rag doll'. 'We took like two weeks to shoot this sequence and I was like, 'Wow, I just did that, that's really amazing'. And my child yesterday just looked at this poster of Tom Cruise and went, 'It's weird, he looks so much cooler than you did when you were hanging off the helicopter'. I was just like, 'I hung off the helicopter, (can I have) some credit?'', she added. Indo-Asian News Service
