Man Utd able to buy Benjamin Sesko NOW without player sales thanks to Marcus Rashford's Barcelona loan transfer
MARCUS RASHFORD has helped give Manchester United the financial wriggle room to land top target Benjamin Sesko - without selling ANYBODY else before the summer window closes. Advertisement 4 Marcus Rashford joined Barcelona on loan Credit: Alamy 4 It could help in Man Utd's pursuit of Benjamin Sesko Credit: Getty Newcastle also made the first move - Contact has continued since and is likely to be stepped up once United return home from the final game of the Premier League Summer Series against Everton in Atlanta in a bid to see off Newcastle's interest. And their determination to land Sesko, 22, has been sharpened by the financial benefits of Rashford's loan move to Barcelona. Advertisement The Catalan club agreed to take on Rashford's £16m annual wage bill, an agreement which made a significant dent in United's debit sheet. United also raised £20.7m from sell-on clauses including Anthony Elanga's move to Newcastle and the £5m paid by Chelsea to pull out of their deal to sign Jadon Sancho. And successful negotiations with Wolves and Brentford respectively as part of the signings of Matheus Cunha and Bryan Mbeumo have also helped. Rather than paying the bulk of the £130m total fees up front, United agreed to pay in multiple instalments, spreading the cost. Advertisement Most read in Football And with Newcastle fearing Sesko, 22, has already decided that United are the club for him, the way seems clear for Ruben Amorim to land his man. 4 CASINO SPECIAL - BEST CASINO BONUSES FROM £10 DEPOSITS That will, though, require ongoing discussions with the Bundesliga club, who are determined to get their asking price. Advertisement Not qualifying for Europe this season means United do not have to stick to Uefa's limit of spending no more than 70 per cent of their annual income on transfers and wages. Amorim refuses to guarantee Hojlund Man Utd future amid Sesko transfer push But while the club does still have PSR issues to juggle with, they have eased slightly after the controversial club cuts programme ordered by Sir Jim Ratcliffe and Ineos. Nevertheless, the huge transfer fees paid over recent seasons have lumbered the club with significant 'amortisation' costs that are still being carried. It means that, if Sesko joins Bryan Mbeumo and Matheus Cunha in a £200m-plus attacking trident, sales will have to be made before the end of the financial year on June 30. Mum who used to work for Citizens Advice Bureau reveals 4 ways struggling Brits can get discounts on their bills
A MUM who used to work for Citizens Advice Bureau has opened up about a number of ways struggling Brits can save some cash. Amy uploaded a video explaining some easy ways you can save money on bills - and it doesn't take too much effort to sort. Advertisement 2 According to Amy, there is an easy way to pay less on your internet Credit: Getty In 1. WATER The first thing you can do is get in contact with your water company to lower your bills. She explained: 'You can fill out a form — a means test form — and they can lower your water rate for you, and as long as you're on a water meter.' 2. INTERNET According to Amy, there is a way to pay less on your internet too. Advertisement More on money-saving She advised: 'If you have internet in your house, you can contact your internet provider and ask them to put you on a low income plan.' The mum advised that this is typically £14.99 and claims they 'have to do it whether you're in contract or not.' She added they might ask you to do a means form, but said if you are on Universal Credit then you 'will be able to get it.' She said: 'I've had the same plan for 4 years, and it's absolutely fine.' Advertisement Most read in Fabulous 3. RENT Amy advised that you can get help on your rent too. She said that if you are on Universal Credit and you receive Housing Element, but it doesn't quite meet what you're actually paying in rent, the local council can assist you. I'm a mum-of-2 on UC & fed up with people calling me a scrounger - yes I've got a £1.5k pram, I can have nice things too Amy said you can get a discretionary fund, which will fill the gap between what Universal Credit will pay and what your actual rent is paid. She added: 'So all of your rent will be paid. You just have to fill in some forms, send it off, and they'll be able to tell you whether you qualify for that.' Advertisement 4. GAS AND ELECTRIC You can also contact your gas and electric company to get a discounted rate, according to Amy. All you need to do is tell them you are on low income, and you may qualify for a reduction, but you also may qualify for a 'heat-in bursary.' She added: 'So that's like before winter and after winter, they put credit on your account — I think it's something like £300 — and that goes on credit on your account, so it lowers the amount you're paying altogether.' 2 Amy, who used to work for Citizens Advice Bureau, opened up about four ways you can save money on bills Credit: TikTok/@amyyourbipolarbestie Advertisement In the caption of her video, she wrote: 'I am speaking on my own experience and what I have done to save money in present and past. Top 3 beauty products every woman should be using Hayley Walker, Beauty Expert at A cleanser, SPF, and hair oil are must-haves within beauty routines. A cleanser is crucial for healthy skin as it removes dirt, oil, and other impurities for flawless skin. This skincare step not only cleanses the face and removes dirt, but also prevents breakouts and premature skin ageing, helping you maintain a healthy, youthful, and blemish-free complexion. The SPF is non-negotiable and should be in everyone's daily skincare routine. Even on cooler, cloudier days, our skin is exposed to the sun's UV rays which can be harmful to unprotected skin and even lead to damage. These damages include sunburn, pigmentation changes, and wrinkles which can impact the skin's texture and appearance. In some cases, prolonged exposure to UV rays can cause skin cancer. Applying SPF daily prevents these damages and protects the skin from harmful rays. I recommend the Hair oil has many benefits and should be regularly used. This treatment can strengthen and protect the hair from external stressors while improving its appearance and shine. Regularly applying hair oil can also reduce breakage and even encourage hair growth for longer, fuller locks. Hair oils also target the scalp, reducing dandruff and improving its health through exfoliation. I recommend using this deeply nourishing treatment a couple of times a week or more depending on the hair's moisture levels. The
