According to data by trade analyst Sacnilk, 'Kuberaa' minted Rs 3.35 crore on its seventh day, Thursday, contributing to a solid overall first-week total of Rs 69 crore. The breakdown of the week shows a robust opening weekend followed by a gradual fall, typical of many big releases.
Day-wise performance
On day 1, Friday, it collected Rs 14.75 crore, day 2 was up by 11.86% seeing a business of Rs 16.5 crore, and on day 3, it collected Rs 17.35 crore.
On weekdays, the numbers dropped to Rs 6.8 crore on Monday, Rs 5.85 crore on Tuesday, and Rs 4.4 crore on Wednesday.
While the weekend contributed to nearly half of the week's earnings, the film is managing to hold on decently, especially in the Telugu market.
Theatre occupancy
On Thursday, Kuberaa recorded an overall Telugu occupancy of 18.40%, with audience numbers gradually increasing through the day. Morning shows stood at 12.62%, while the night shows peaked at 22.47%.
The Tamil version saw a steady turnout, with an overall occupancy averaging 12%. Morning shows recorded 12.35%, afternoon 13.03%, evening 11.79%, and night shows closed at 12.81%.
The Hindi version, while contributing a smaller share, showed decent traction towards the evening, with an overall occupancy of 7.80%. Morning shows were at 3.31%, afternoon 7.58%, evening 7.05%, and night shows rose to 13.27%.
