What Ozzy Osbourne's Secret Children From 1st Marriage Have Said About His Passing

Ozzy Osbourne's eldest children, who are not well-known, have reacted to his passing. The English Rock n' Roll legend died on July 22 after a lengthy battle with Parkinson's disease. Multiple children and grandchildren survive him. Ozzy was a founding member of the popular rock band Black Sabbath." Shortly before he died, he was able to hold a farewell concert just a few weeks ago. Ozzy Osbourne's Secret Children Paid Touching Tributes A statement from the Osbourne family confirmed Ozzy died at 76 in his luxury mansion in Buckinghamshire, surrounded by his family. The statement, signed by his wife Sharon Osbourne and their three children, Aimee, Kelly, and Jack, also included Ozzy's son from his first marriage, Louis. Although it is unknown if Louis was present at his father's deathbed, he paid his respects with a touching social media tribute. Ozzy's son, a DJ, changed his Facebook profile picture to a blank black photo to signify his grief, according to The Sun. The singer's first wife was Thelma Riley, and they had two children, Louis and Jessica, before getting divorced in 1982. Jessica Osbourne similarly paid her respects by sharing a picture of the iconic singer on her Instagram story, captioned, "RIP Ozzy." She also played one of his popular songs, "Crazy Train," in the post. Ozzy Osbourne Had Six Children From His Two Marriages The "War Pigs" singer and his first wife also shared a third child, Elliot Kingsley, whom Ozzy officially adopted. According to Page Six, Riley had Kingsley with an unidentified man before she met Ozzy. After his divorce, the songwriter married Sharon Osbourne in 1982, and together, they had Aimee, Kelly, and Jack. Ozzy's adopted son and biological children from his first marriage have mostly stayed out of the spotlight, unlike his children from his marriage to Sharon. They are more popular and have made appearances on "The Osbournes" reality show. Jessica and Louis, however, don't have a close bond with the Prince of Darkness, whom they recalled was rarely at home during their childhood. The Music Legend Held a Farewell Show Earlier This Month Before he died, the "Black Sabbath" founder was privileged to hold a farewell show with his former bandmates earlier this month. The show was performed in front of 40,000 fans in Birmingham. His struggles with addiction led to him being kicked out of the band in 1979. However, he was able to reunite with ex-bandmates Geezer Butler, Tony Lommi, and Bill Ward to perform an emotional five-song set. The show was dubbed "The Greatest Heavy Metal Show Ever." During the performance, Ozzy was spotted in happy spirits as he grinned from ear to ear. He also thanked his fans for all they had done for him throughout his six-decade-long career. Ozzy Osbourne Was Rumored to Have Died Just 76 Days Before His Passing Before the heavy metal singer passed away, there were widespread speculations about his deteriorating condition. As reported by The Blast, his daughter, Kelly, had to shut down the rumors. She took to Instagram to deny rumors that her father was dead, criticizing a social media user for saying that she was in denial instead. Kelly called the social media user "rude" and a "nasty c-nt" for being insensitive about her father's plight. She remained firm in her belief that he was not dying and wrote that her father's condition was different from what the user had described. The Osbourne Family Hoped The Singer Would Be Around Much Longer Despite Ozzy's one-year battle with Parkinson's disease, his family had hoped that he would live longer and were shocked to learn of his demise. The Blast reported that his death was "unexpected to be this soon." A source also revealed that the iconic singer's wife, Sharon, had been preparing their family home in Buckinghamshire for him. However, he didn't get to stay there for long before passing away. The source also said, "There was much hope that he would be around for a lot longer than this, but at one point, there were fears they would not get him back from Los Angeles for the concert earlier this month." During Ozzy's final days, his daughters, Kelly and Aimee, spent a lot of time at his house. They also held faith that he would "be able to carry on for a bit longer." Solve the daily Crossword

WWE May Be Bringing Back Fan-Favorite WCW Event

Based on facts, either observed and verified firsthand by the reporter, or reported and verified from knowledgeable sources. Newsweek AI is in beta. Translations may contain inaccuracies—please refer to the original content. WWE has filed a new trademark for a classic event name from its former rival, World Championship Wrestling (WCW). The move has sparked widespread speculation among fans that another iconic pay-per-view from the past could be set for a modern revival. On July 22, WWE officially filed a trademark for the name "SuperBrawl." The filing is for a wide range of entertainment services, including the exhibition of professional wrestling events. A Flagship WCW Pay-Per-View SuperBrawl was one of WCW's flagship annual pay-per-view events from 1991 until the company was purchased by WWE in 2001. For a decade, the event was a cornerstone of WCW's calendar, typically taking place in February as a major stop on the road to their spring events. The event featured many of WCW's most historic matches and moments. These include classic main events like Sting vs. Lex Luger in 1992, Hulk Hogan vs. Vader in 1995, and the highly anticipated rematch between Sting and Hollywood Hogan for the vacant WCW World Heavyweight Championship at SuperBrawl VIII in 1998. WWE's History of Reviving WCW Brands When WWE purchased WCW in 2001, the deal included the company's entire video library and all of its intellectual property, including event names and trademarks. For years, WWE has successfully mined this library for content and branding, often reviving classic WCW event names for their modern premium live events. LAS VEGAS, NEVADA - OCTOBER 11: WWE Executive Vice President of Talent, Live Events and Creative Paul "Triple H" Levesque speaks at a WWE news conference at T-Mobile Arena on October 11, 2019 in Las Vegas, Nevada. It was announced that WWE wrestler Braun Strowman will face heavyweight boxer Tyson Fury and WWE champion Brock Lesnar will take on former UFC heavyweight champion Cain Velasquez at the WWE's Crown Jewel event at Fahd International Stadium in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia on October 31. MoreThis strategy has seen a recent resurgence under the creative leadership of Triple H. The "WarGames" match, a WCW creation, was revived in NXT and has now become the centerpiece of the main roster's annual Survivor Series event. "The Great American Bash" has been successfully reintroduced as a major annual special for the NXT brand, and "Starrcade" has been used for special, non-televised live events. More news: WWE Superstar Announces Retirement Match This track record of successfully bringing back beloved WCW properties is the primary reason the "SuperBrawl" trademark filing has generated so much excitement. It's a strategy that appeals to the nostalgia of older fans while introducing classic event names to a new generation. While it is unknown how or if WWE will use the "SuperBrawl" name, the filing is a clear indication that a revival is under consideration. More WWE News: For more on WWE, head to Newsweek Sports.
