Special camps in Gumla links hundreds with welfare schemes
Over 46,000 members of tribal groups got benefited on the spot, while applications which need further formalities have been forwarded to the departments.

nder the Ayushman Bharat scheme, 5,109 beneficiaries against 5,632 applications received golden cards. Similarly, 2,132 persons out of 3,095 applicants received caste certificates. A total of 2,838 applications for pension schemes were also processed.
A total of 3,061 applications has been submitted for new Aadhaar cards and correction, of which 2,398 have been disposed.
Under MGNREGA, 5,726 job cards were handed over to beneficiaries by linking them with the job scheme against 7,325 applicants.
To tackle sickle cell anaemia, 13,727 persons were screened for treatment. Under the Poshan Abhiyan, 2,090 persons received nutritional kits.
Gumla DC Prerna Dixit, who attended one such camp at Upar Khatanga in Raidih block on Wednesday, said, "The camps are a forum for service delivery but on a wider scale, it's a strong step towards linking the people with the schemes meant for them, creating awareness about the schemes, and instilling trust in govt machinery." The campaign will end on July15.

Kidney transplant package has also been included in the Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri-Jan Arogya Yojana," he that unhealthy lifestyle and food habits are among the major factors leading to organ failure and hence it is necessary to take preventive measures and lifestyle interventions, he urged people to adopt yoga to promote overall well-being."Ayurveda and yoga offer simple practices to strengthen our organs and boost immunity. We must adopt yoga to promote overall well-being," Nadda said. He added that Prime Minister has time and again encouraged everyone to take proactive steps towards better health. "One such powerful message is his call to reduce the consumption of oil by 10 per cent, a simple yet impactful step towards building a healthier disease-free future," Nadda said.
