The Dallas Wings still have a long way to go. However, the Friday night game gave them a chance to surpass the Sun in the standings. It is now Paige Bueckers and the Dallas Wings on the road to CareFirst Arena to face the Washington Mystics (5-8) on Sunday. While the Wings are hardly in a playoff hunt, back-to-back wins have encouraged the fans. With Bueckers trending upward, the Dallas squad could well rewrite the script for their season shortly.

Jonathan Kuminga's contract deadlock fuels Sacramento Kings' interest as trade rumors intensify this offseason

Jonathan Kuminga might join the Sacramento Kings (Image via Instagram / @jonathan_kuminga) Negotiations for Jonathan Kuminga's contract with the Golden State Warriors have recently stalled. On the other hand, the NBA player has connected with the Sacramento Kings' staff, indicating his openness to a possible move. The team is also reportedly interested in him as uncertainty looms. Meanwhile, NBA insider Allen Stiles discussed a "handshake agreement" between the Sacramento Kings and DeMar DeRozan in a new video posted by NBACentral on X. According to reports, the agreement said that if they were to acquire Jonathan Kuminga, they would move DeMar DeRozan. Sacramento Kings emerge as surprise suitors amid Jonathan Kuminga contract uncertainty Given the continuous trade rumors, DeMar DeRozan might reportedly leave the Sacramento Kings after just one season. According to reports, he and the Sacramento Kings may have an unofficial agreement about his possible departure, particularly if they are successful in acquiring free agent Jonathan Kuminga. According to NBA expert Allen Stiles, Jonathan Kuminga 's presence might spur swift action to enable the NBA player to be traded to a different team. In the X video, Allen Stiles said: 'I believe that there is a handshake agreement between DeMar DeRozan and the Sacramento Kings. That is my belief. If Jonathan Kuminga is acquired by the Sacramento Kings, the Sacramento Kings will get their b**ts in gear as far as getting DeMar DeRozan into another team…' He continued: 'What I mean by that is, there are people in this space... They never want to lose a trade or the perception of losing a trade. And I know that we've brought up before the situation with the Miami Heat, right? And do you just take Terry Rozier two seconds, and it's essentially a salary dump?' The clip concluded: 'Obviously, you're not getting a player back that says as good as DeMar DeRozan, but DeMar DeRozan gets to go to a contender. You're going to get money that's eventually going to come off the books if Terry Rozier even plays…' Jonathan Kuminga is now a free agent (Image via Instagram / @jonathan_kuminga) Meanwhile, to strengthen their roster, the Sacramento Kings have been active this offseason. They are trying to start a fresh chapter after losing De'Aaron Fox in a trade. They are most interested in Jonathan Kuminga. They haven't had much success in discussions, though. The Golden State Warriors won't play ball with them over the NBA player. However, the Sacramento Kings may still have a chance as Jonathan Kuminga and the Golden State Warriors continue to talk about his uncertain future. IND vs ENG: Deja vu at Old Trafford! Sai Sudharsan's golden duck evokes old Gautam Gambhir moment

Sai Sudharsan and Gautam Gambhir (AP/Screengrab) Sai Sudharsan, who had stood tall for India in the first innings with a gritty 61, endured a nightmare moment on Day 4 of the fourth Test at Old Trafford as he fell for a golden duck in India's second innings. His dismissal, eerily similar to one from a decade ago, brought back memories of Gautam Gambhir's first-ball exit in 2014 at The Oval. Go Beyond The Boundary with our YouTube channel. SUBSCRIBE NOW! England, having piled up a daunting 669 in response to India's 358, secured a commanding 311-run lead. Chasing the deficit, India suffered a catastrophic start. Yashasvi Jaiswal was the first to go, falling for a duck on the fourth ball of the innings to Chris Woakes . In stepped Sudharsan, who was expected to anchor the innings alongside KL Rahul. However, hopes of a rebuild were dashed almost instantly. Facing Woakes, Sudharsan shouldered arms to a delivery that reared up just enough to take the bottom edge of his bat. The ball flew to second slip where Harry Brook completed a sharp catch, leaving India reeling at 0 for 2. The mode of dismissal and its timing in a high-pressure series bore a striking resemblance to an episode from India's tour of England in 2014. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Clearance Sale: Exclusive handcrafted handbags - now 70% off Handmakers Report Read Now Undo Back then, in the fifth Test at The Oval, senior opener Gautam Gambhir was dismissed on the very first ball he faced, attempting to leave a James Anderson delivery that clipped the edge and was caught behind by Jos Buttler.
