Liam Gallagher booed by Oasis fans in Cardiff after cheeky Manchester comment
Liam Gallagher was booed by Oasis fans during his first come-back tour date in Cardiff. The reunion tour kicked off tonight in the Welsh stadium but it seems not all fans were too happy.
Liam asked the crowd "Anybody here from Manchester? Anyone here from Burn-aaage?" which was met by a whole host of booing. However, this didn't stop the frontman from continuing his performance.
He ignored the boos as he shook his tambourine before launching into the band's next song. The tour came after brothers Noel and Liam announced that they would be getting back together to perform last year.
They shared a video to promote the comeback when Liam was heard saying: "When we both come together, you have greatness." Noel then says: "I know my brother better than anybody else. This is it, this is happening."
Cardiff marks the first of 17 shows across the UK, with fans set to flock to London, Manchester and Edinburgh too. Oasis will also play in Dublin before the band takes the show on the road to North America, Mexico, South Korea, Japan, Australia, Chile and Argentina.
It has been estimated that more than 100,000 people travelled to Cardiff yesterday, with some hoping to get a last-minute ticket or just to be there to celebrate in the pubs and bars as they partied late into the night.
Despite the months of preparation for the upcoming gigs, it seems that Noel was in no rush to get in stage. He was spotted enjoying the build-up to the epic Oasis reunion at Cardiff's Principality Stadium.

The guitarist was seen taking in Richard Ashcroft's performance as he warmed up the crowd for the big comeback event. Ashcroft was scheduled to take to the stage at 7pm, with Oasis following behind at 8.15pm.
Cast first played at 6pm as the first of two support acts. Several fans camped outside of the stadium 24 hours before the show began to try and get the best spots.
However, they didn't need to do this, they were then given wristbands to access the front pit in the standing crowd. ITV Lorraine correspondent Nick Dixon revealed that some ticket holders had been waiting outside the Principality Stadium since yesterday in the hopes of getting to the front of the stage.
He explained: "Some of the more passionate fans with tickets have been queuing up at different sections of the stadium since yesterday because they want to get in there as soon as the doors open at 5pm and rush to the stage."
He then finished the segment by explaining they had been upgraded which left the superfans "deliriously happy".

Formula shows which karaoke songs are most likely to boost mood
An Oxford University mathematician has explained the best karaoke song of all time, after devising a unique formula. Dr Tom Crawford has explained which songs are best to sing - and why - as new 'Kathartic Karaoke' booths from Three UK and Samaritans launch at festivals this summer. Dr Tom devised a formula which grades each song with a score out of 100 (K). In the equation, which was developed using data from 2,000 karaoke lovers, V refers to the number of verses, C repetition of chorus, BPM to the song's beats per minute and Y to the year the song was released. Dr Tom used his formula to rank the UK's favourite karaoke songs and identify ten guaranteed to boost moods and help find joy. 1. Livin' On a Prayer – Bon Jovi (91%) 2. This captures the boyband craze, as well as Brit pop with Oasis, and girl power like the Spice Girls, showing there's some serious maths behind a karaoke belter.' The 'Kathartic Karaoke' initiative forms part of Three and Samaritans' commitment to mental health support and wellbeing. Launching this week at Klarna presents Latitude Festival in Suffolk (24 to 27 July), the karaoke booth will then move to The Mound at Edinburgh Fringe (15-16 August). The experience has been designed to help festival goers boost their mood with music and singing. And in partnership with Samaritans, singers can head to Samaritans tent at Latitude if they want to talk or scan a QR code to seek additional support.
