Prince William Scraps Ties With Sponsor Accused of Offering ‘Access' To Royals
Minerva Mondejar Steiner's gallery was reportedly assigned as the official sponsor for Prince William's Royal Charity Polo Cup match.
A wealthy gallery owner was reportedly selling 'full private" meetings with the Prince of Wales without his knowledge. As per the latest reports, Prince William has severed his ties with the individual as she was trying to sell private access to him in exchange for £20,000 (more than $27,000). Identified as Minerva Mondejar Steiner, the Filipina-Swiss millionaire art gallery curator was reportedly planning to offer private meetings with both William and Princess Kate at the upcoming Royal Charity Polo Cup match, scheduled for next month in Windsor.
The 45-year-old's gallery is said to be an official sponsor of the annual charitable polo event. On the other hand, the Kensington Palace was unaware of the sponsor's alleged activities until alerted by The Sunday Times report. She offered 'VVIP tickets and access to royalty" to advertisers willing to shell out money for a feature in her magazine, which was to be handed out at the event.
As per the emails seen by the outlet, Steiner had extended confidential invitations through the luxury concierge, A Small World, informing the guests that they could attend the polo match, enjoy lunch and champagne, view the art exhibition, and even meet the Prince and Princess of Wales, all in exchange for 'patron contributions."
'Patron contributions: £6,000 — admission for one patron. £20,000 — includes full access plus a private audience with Prince William and Princess Catherine. The attached invitation is for your eyes only and not to be shared publicly or on social media," a part of the email read.
As a result, William has terminated her sponsorship for the charity polo event. His brother Prince Harry has also severed ties with Steiner. Meanwhile, the Kensington Palace is now carrying out checks on the sponsors of the cup.
The Royal Charity Polo Cup is an exclusive, invitation-only event that will take place next month in Windsor. Over the past 15 years, the event has raised money for charitable causes supported by the Prince, who regularly takes part in it. Those in attendance get the chance to watch the Prince of Wales playing polo and also make donations to the causes.

Kate Middleton's secret edge: She always beats Prince William at THIS sport
Prince William might be competitive by nature, but when it comes to tennis, he knows better than to challenge his wife. Turns out, Kate Middleton almost always wins when the Prince and Princess of Wales square off on the court. And this isn't just royal gossip - it comes straight from tennis legend Rod Laver, who shared the tidbit a few years ago after chatting with the couple in the Royal Box at Wimbledon. 'I'd met William and Kate a few times, and in the Royal Box you get a chance to chat with them a little bit. They play tennis against each other. William told me he couldn't beat her,' Laver told the Daily Mail in 2020. It's really not surprising that Kate's the better player. She also hands out the trophies at Wimbledon- a job she clearly enjoys. The Princess of Wales is also not just a spectator. Kate has rallied with big names like Roger Federer and Emma Raducanu, the latter once praised her 'incredible forehand.' So when William jokes about never beating her, it's probably not just modesty - she's got real skills. Kate and William, both 43, have always loved a bit of friendly competition. Over the years, they've taken each other on in all sorts of challenges - from sailing races and running tracks to spin bikes and even ping pong - often during their public appearances. Their competitive streak isn't limited to sports either. Whether it's rolling out dough balls at a bakery or mixing cocktails behind the bar, they seem to enjoy testing each other - and keeping the energy light, reports People. Even on podcasts, their dynamic has come up. During a 2023 episode of The Good, The Bad & The Rugby, hosted by Mike Tindall (who's married to William's cousin Zara), Kate's drive to win became the punchline. 'I'm not going to say you're uber competitive,' Mike joked. 'I'm not competitive at all,' Kate replied with a smile. 'I've seen her play beer pong!' Mike added, as everyone laughed. Kate might deliver her lines with charm, but those who know her best say the competitiveness is real. And William? He's learned to pick his battles, at least when tennis rackets are involved. Whatever the sport, it's clear these two know how to keep things fun - and just a little bit fiery - both on and off the court. A. Tennis legend Rod Laver shared the story after speaking to the couple at Wimbledon. A. They have competed in running, sailing, spin biking, ping pong, and more during royal engagements. A. World's most expensive perfume costs INR 10 crore, you can buy it in this city!
Here's all about the world's most expensive perfume, priced at a staggering $1.3 million. Created by Asghar Adam Ali, it took three years and 494 trials to perfect this essence of this magical city. The perfume comes in a Murano glass bottle adorned with thousands of diamonds, gold, silver, pearls, and topaz. Dubai is back at it again, showing the world how it does luxury like no one else. The city just dropped what's being called the world's most expensive perfume, Shumukh and it's priced at a jaw-dropping $1.3 million (yes, that's around ₹10.8 crore!). Crafted by perfumer Asghar Adam Ali, the founder of Nabeel Perfumes, Shumukh took three years and 494 trials to perfect, all in an effort to bottle up the essence of Dubai itself. But this isn't your usual spritz-and-go kind of scent. Shumukh comes in a massive 3-liter Murano glass bottle, perched inside a 1.97-meter tall display case that's dripping in bling, 3,571 diamonds, 2.5 kilograms of 18-karat gold, 5.9 kilograms of pure silver, plus pearls and Swiss topaz for that extra glam factor. It's basically perfume-meets-royal-artifact. The name 'Shumukh' translates to 'deserving the highest,' which makes total sense once you see the over-the-top design. The bottle features intricate motifs that pay homage to Dubai's culture - think falcons, Arabian horses, roses, pearl diving, and even nods to its futuristic cityscape. The scent itself is a rich, gender-neutral blend of traditional Middle Eastern fragrances like sandalwood, musk, frankincense, agarwood, and amber, mixed with floral touches like Turkish rose and ylang-ylang. It's not just about the scent though, it's also the first perfume in the world to set not one but two Guinness World Records: one for the most diamonds on a perfume bottle and the other for being the tallest remote-controlled perfume spray system. Yes, it's so extra, it even sprays itself. Perfume isn't just about smelling good in the Middle East, it's cultural. From ancient traditions to Islamic teachings that value personal fragrance, scent is deeply woven into everyday life. The Middle East and Africa's fragrance market was worth $6.1 billion back in 2017 and is only climbing. With that kind of demand, it's no wonder the UAE is leading the race in ultra-luxury fragrances. Shumukh has officially outshined previous record-holders like Clive Christian's No.1 Imperial Majesty and DKNY's Million Dollar Bottle, not just in price but in spectacle. Though no buyer has been announced yet, Shumukh is currently on display at Dubai Mall, and the makers say they've already received a few 'serious' inquiries. Whether someone actually buys it or not, one thing's clear, when Dubai decides to make a statement, it doesn't whisper. It perfumes the entire room.
