The dev behind TMNT: Shredder's Revenge is making a Scott Pilgrim beat-em-up

Tribute Games, the developer behind the fantastic Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder's Revenge , is back with its take on another comic book IP. Scott Pilgrim EX is a beat-em-up coming to PC and consoles in 2026.
This looks like a real evolution of its work with those pizza-loving turtles. There's a large map to explore with plenty of secrets, seven playable characters and, most importantly for Pilgrim fans, a brand-new story. Vegans, robots and demons have taken over Toronto! This seems only nominally better than ex-boyfriends. To view this content, you'll need to update your privacy settings. The developer promises "countless creative combos" and all kinds of quests "across space and time." The graphics and soundtrack are both absolutely soaked in retro goodness.
If the idea of a sidescrolling Scott Pilgrim beat-em-up seems eerily familiar to you, it's not the Mandela Effect. Scott Pilgrim vs. the World: The Game was first released all the way back in 2010.

Eva Pilgrim to take anchor's chair on 'Inside Edition'

July 7 (UPI) -- Journalist Eva Pilgrim will serve as the next anchor of Inside Edition, replacing outgoing anchor Deborah Norville. Charles Lachman, executive producer of the newsmagazine series, announced Pilgrim will be joining the show as the series' anchor in the fall. Pilgrim most recently served as Senior National Correspondent and co-anchor of GMA3: What You Need to Know for ABC News. "We feel like we won the jackpot to have Eva join our team as the next anchor of Inside Edition," Lachman said. "She has solid news chops from her years as a reporter and anchor in national and local news, plus a warm relatability that resonates with audiences. We look forward to having a journalist of her caliber take Inside Edition into its next chapter." Norville announced in April that she would be stepping down after 30 years in the anchor's chair. "It has been an honor and a privilege to be here at Inside for all these years. A milestone like this is a time for reflection and on reflection I've decided that now is the time for me to move on from Inside Edition," she said on the show.

'Inside Edition' reveals its next anchor after Deborah Norville's departure

Meet the next anchor of "Inside Edition." The long-running newsmagazine show has hired ABC News senior national correspondent Eva Pilgrim to succeed Deborah Norville as anchor. Pilgrim previously served as coanchor of ABC's "GMA3: What You Need to Know." She was tapped for that role in 2023 following the departure of Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes, who were embroiled in an affair scandal. "Anchoring 'Inside Edition' is truly a dream job," Pilgrim said in a statement. "I have been an avid viewer and fan of the show for many years. I'm pinching myself that I get to work with this amazing team. It's truly an honor to join a show with such a long, rich history." Executive producer Charles Lachman also said, "We feel like we won the jackpot to have Eva join our team," adding that she "has solid news chops" and "a warm relatability that resonates with audiences." Pilgrim's hiring comes more than a month after Norville exited "Inside Edition" after a 30-year run. She said in April that producers wanted her to stay but that there were "things I'd like to do, and places I want to do them, that continuing here don't permit." Norville was the third anchor of "Inside Edition" following previous stints by David Frost and Bill O'Reilly. She officially signed off in her final episode on May 21. Swimming in gratitude': Deborah Norville exits 'Inside Edition' after 30 years "I am literally swimming in gratitude," Norville said in a farewell to viewers. "I've stayed this long because you welcomed me and the stories that we tell. I know 'Inside' has been a companion to many of you, and you've told me that you'll miss our daily visits. I'm going to miss them too." Deborah Norville is leaving 'Inside Edition' after 30 years Pilgrim will take over as anchor of "Inside Edition" beginning in the fall for the show's 38th season. ‘GMA3' anchor Eva Pilgrim departs for ‘Inside Edition' with co-host DeMarco Morgan MIA as show faces another shakeup

'GMA3' anchor Eva Pilgrim on Monday ditched ABC News' scandal-scarred third hour of its marquee morning show to take over as host of 'Inside Edition' — and her co-anchor DeMarco Morgan looks to be out of the picture as well. The pair — who took over the 1 p.m. time slot in 2023 following the shocking affair between married 'GMA3' co-anchors TJ Holmes and Amy Robach — have been in the crosshairs of ABC News president Almin Karamehmedovic for months as the Disney-owned network looks to cut costs, The Post previously reported. On Monday, CBS' Media Ventures arm, which syndicates 'Inside Edition,' announced that Pilgrim will take over as host following Deborah Norville's departure. The Status newsletter reported Sunday night that Pilgrim would be jumping ship. Advertisement 5 'GMA3' co-hosts DeMarco Morgan and Eva Pilgrim are rumored to be ousted from the ratings-challenged show. ABC Morgan's future at ABC News also appears to be murky. He hasn't anchored 'GMA3' in weeks, despite the show moving to the network's new headquarters in Hudson Square in Lower Manhattan. He was MIA on Monday. The show was hosted by Rebecca Jarvis, Ginger Zee and Gio Benitez, further raising red flags. Advertisement A rep for ABC News did not return calls regarding Morgan's absence. On Morgan's personal Instagram, the host recently changed his bio from 'GMA3' co-host to listing that he is an alum of both Columbia University and Jackson State University. He also provides a link of but there's no title identifying his role there. Morgan did not immediately respond to requests for comment. Rumors of both Pilgrim's and Morgan's departure began to swirl in the spring. Advertisement A source told The Post that Karamehmedovic spoke with Pilgrim about her future, but at the time, it was not clear where the co-host would land. 5 'GMA' co-hosts Michael Strahan, Robin Roberts, and George Stephanopoulos could possibly be tapped to pick up the slack at 'GMA3.' ABC Word of that conversation jilted Pilgrim — and her co-host — who were on high-alert over their fate at the network. According to the CBS-syndicated show, Pilgrim will become just fourth anchor in the long history of 'Inside Edition' when she takes the reins of the weekly investigative newsmagazine show in the fall. Advertisement 'Anchoring 'Inside Edition' is truly a dream job,' Pilgrim said Monday. 'I have been an avid viewer and fan of the show for many years. I'm pinching myself that I get to work with this amazing team. It's truly an honor to join a show with such a long, rich history.' Last year, ABC News brass expressed alarm over a series of provocative photos of Morgan posing in skin-tight biker shorts, in which the anchor's 'package' was on full display, The Post exclusively reported. The buzzy Instagram pics, unfortunately, have not goosed 'GMA 3's' ratings, which have generally hovered between 1 million and 1.4 million total viewers this year. In the last few months of Robach and Holmes' tenure, ratings were in the 1.7 million-viewer range. 5 Eva Pilgrim is heading to 'Inside Edition.' ABC 5 ABC News president Almin Karamehmedovic shook up 'GMA3' earlier this year. Disney/Nathan Martin ABC News laid off 'GMA3' staff in March and consolidated its production under 'GMA.' At the time, Karamehmedovic — who took over ABC News after Kim Godwin following a slew of high-profile gaffes — assured staffers that the show would remain on the air. Advertisement A source had told The Post that Karamehmedovic could even tap the highly paid trio from the 'GMA' mothership — Robin Roberts, Michael Strahan and George Stephanopoulos — to fill in. 5 Morgan set social media ablaze with his racy biker short photos, but his bosses were not as amused, sources told The Post. DeMarco Morgan/Instagram At the time of The Post's April article, a rep said: 'What we have said from the beginning is that we are unifying all day parts under the 'GMA' umbrella and team and that includes seeing all members of the extended 'GMA' family in the third hour.' 'The third hour is a valued part of the 'GMA' franchise. Robin, George and Michael have been on before and they will continue to be featured,' the spokesperon added.
