Flick calls up 18-year-old Barcelona starlet to training ahead of Atletico Madrid clash
The Blaugrana have yet to beat Atletico this season, losing the reverse fixture in La Liga back in December and then being held to a draw in the first leg of their Copa del Rey semi-final clash.
As Barcelona kicked off preparations for the game against Los Rojiblancos, there was a new face in the training session in the form of goalkeeper Max Bonfill, reports Mundo Deportivo.
The 18-year-old shot-stopper is a part of the Juvenil A setup under Juliano Belletti and has featured once in the UEFA Youth League this season.

Bonfill had been part of a training session with the first-team squad earlier this week as well and has now been called up again by manager Hansi Flick on the eve of the game against Atletico Madrid.
Bonfill's presence is mainly because Ander Astralaga and Diego Kochen are with the reserve team, who this afternoon play against Tarazona for their survival in the Primera RFEF.
Meanwhile, Aron Yaakobishvili and Eder Aller are with the Juvenil A team who will play the final of the Copa del Rey Juvenil against Zaragoza on Sunday noon.
Marc-Andre ter Stegen, Andreas Christensen and Marc Bernal are the only absentees due to injuries for Barcelona as they get set to take on Diego Simeone's side.

Barcelona confirms Japanese tour
Barcelona confirms Japanese tour It's now official. FC Barcelona is heading to Japan, marking the first stop of their summer tour in Asia. The Catalan club will take on Vissel Kobe this Sunday, July 27, after reaching a last-minute agreement with the local promoter. The match, which had been suspended two days ago due to a financial dispute, will go ahead thanks to Rakuten's intervention. The former Blaugrana sponsor covered the five million euros that the Japanese group Yasuda, responsible for organizing the event, was unable to advance. Hansi Flick's men will begin their preparations as soon as they arrive, ahead of two more fixtures scheduled in South Korea against FC Seoul (July 31) and Daegu FC (August 4). Ter Stegen, currently injured, will not be making the trip. Pau Víctor and Oriol Romeu, both set to depart, will also remain in Barcelona. Iñaki Peña is expected to take over in goal.

Joan Laporta sends Camp Nou message to Barcelona fans
Barcelona president Joan Laporta has provided an update on the club's ongoing efforts to return to the Spotify Camp Nou. The subject of Barca's return to their beloved home ground has of course taken its place centre stage in the headlines in Catalunya's capital once more over the last week. This comes after word was forthcoming that as much, again, had been delayed. After originally announcing plans to play next month's Joan Gamper Trophy match at the newly-renovated Camp Nou, the Blaugrana were forced to alter their plans, with the fixture now due to be played at Montjuïc. Speaking during an interview with this week, it therefore came as little surprise when the subject of the ongoing Camp Nou construction was put to Joan Laporta once more. And the Spanish patron went on to provide a lengthy response, with the key takeaway as follows: 'We're not considering the option of not returning to Spotify Camp Nou. Another season at Montjuïc wouldn't make sense. We will return to Spotify Camp Nou as soon as possible.' Conor Laird – GSFN

Barcelona will play a preseason game in Japan after contractual dispute with promoter is resolved
BARCELONA, Spain (AP) — Barcelona will play a preseason game in Japan that it had previously said was canceled after resolving a contractual dispute with the promoter, the Spanish champion said Friday. Barcelona said that its team was traveling to Japan where it will play a friendly against Vissel Kobe on Sunday. The club said that it and the promoter have 'resolved all the issues that two days prior obliged Barcelona to cancel its participation' in the game. Barcelona has not named the promoter or given more detail about the dispute. After Japan, Barcelona also plans to visit South Korea to play FC Seoul on July 31 and Daegu FC on Aug. 4. Like other big clubs, Barcelona — which has struggled with large debts in recent years — uses the summer to play exhibition games abroad as a way to earn extra cash. ___ AP soccer:
