LA Angels fans left furious as embarrassing mistake by staffer leads to entire stadium booing
The Diamondbacks' Eugenio Suarez hit his second home run of the night in the fourth inning to give the visitors a 2-1 lead.
And the solo shot was surprisingly followed by fireworks being let off at Angel Stadium - a celebration usually reserved for home players.
Fans loudly booed the mistake as Suarez rounded the bases, and had a ton of criticism followed online as well.
'Someone's getting fired,' one replied on X to The Athletic's Sam Blum.
'These idiots can't do anything right,' another said.

And a third joked: 'They are scheduling a Eugenio Suarez bobble head night at the moment. It'll sell some tickets.'
Despite the unfortunate moment, the Angels went on to win 10-5 as Mike Trout gave fans a home run to celebrate in the fifth inning.
The future Hall of Famer sent the ball 373 feet out of right-center field and posted four RBIs on the night.
The Angels are 47-48 this season as they seek their first playoff appearance since 2014.
Suarez, meanwhile, now has 31 home runs before the All-Star Break.
He was surprisingly snubbed from the Home Run Derby, though he was selected to represent the National League in the All-Star Game.
The game will take place on Tuesday at Truist Park in Atlanta.

July 17 - Micah Parsons knows how it all ends, this contract negotiation with the Dallas Cowboys stretching into a second year. He still wondered aloud why ownership is taking its time as the market jumps to new heights. "I'm just going to get mine no matter what," Parsons said at his youth football camp. "You know what I mean? Like, the markets change every year. Their salary cap went up, like, another 18 percent this year. So, if you want to know contracts, all the contracts are based off of percentage. Like, each player, a high-paid player, takes a percentage of the salary cap. So, it's not really the number. It goes off by the salary cap." To Parsons' point, the Cowboys have been here before. The waiting game ending with new contracts last summer for CeeDee Lamb and Dak Prescott pushed to the top of the market at both positions. Parsons, a two-time All-Pro pick with 12 sacks or more in each of his first four seasons, committed to being a part of the Cowboys' offseason and summer while waiting for his deal to be finalized. He said a coaching change, from Mike McCarthy to Brian Schottenheimer, and the arrival of new defensive coordinator Matt Eberflus factored into his decision to be around the team. That doesn't mean he'll be on the field when the Cowboys start training camp. But Parsons pointed to owner Jerry Jones as the one with the power to determine just how quickly peace is restored. "We obviously wanted to get done early," Parsons said on the "Six Feet Under" podcast. "We want that relief off our backs. But, obviously, ownership is always gonna make it drag out -- make it more complicated than it has to be. Lack of communication and that standpoint. But, you know, I just always say, God has me this far, he ain't done with me yet, so, you know, I just keep working, keep going, and then when it comes, I'm gonna be ready. But, you know, ain't gonna be no drop off." Both sides know the cost of signing Parsons will not decrease. The Browns gave pass rusher Myles Garrett $40 million per season and more than $123 million guaranteed on a four-year deal in March. The Raiders signed pass rusher Maxx Crosby to a three-year extension worth $35.5 million per season and $91.5 million guaranteed. Parsons isn't afraid to point out the cost of the Cowboys playing the waiting game. "We wanted to do the contract last year," Parsons said. "They were just kind of like, 'We want to do Dak and CeeDee.' Then you go out there and perform again and, you know, you would think, like, alright, we'll get it done early. We know there's some guys that's about to get ready to get repaid, like Myles (Garrett), you know, Maxx (Crosby) is gone. Ex-Dodgers star Julio Urias plans MLB return two years after domestic violence arrest at MLS game in LA
Julio Urias, the disgraced former Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher who pleaded no contest to a domestic battery charge last year, wants to continue his baseball career, agent Scott Boras told the Los Angeles Times. '[Urias] still has every intention to continue his career,' Boras said at Tuesday's All-Star game in Atlanta. 'He's getting in shape. Obviously, he'll have options that are open to him.' The LA Times is reporting several teams have inquired about the 28-year-old southpaw who won a World Series title in 2020 before leading the National League in victories in 2021 and earned-run average (ERA) in 2022. Although Boras did not address the issue specifically, Urias' no-contest plea to a domestic violence charge in 2024 could be used to prevent him from returning to an MLB team due to immigration issues. The incident took place at a 2023 MLS game between Lionel Messi 's Inter Miami and LAFC, where Urias was seen angrily running after his wife and shoving her face into a fence. Along with Harry Windsor, the Duke of Sussex and a British royal, Urias was one of many celebrities in attendance that night. Urias faced five misdemeanor charges after posting $50,000 bail, four of which were dropped. He also pleaded no contest to misdemeanor domestic battery in May of 2024. The native of the Mexican state of Sinaloa was sentenced to 36 months of probation and 30 days of community service. He was also required to complete a 52-week domestic violence counselling course – the second of his tenure in Los Angeles. He was previously arrested for domestic battery in LA back in May of 2019 and was also required to take the domestic violence counselling course. Urias has been a free agent since October after spending the first eight years of his career with the Dodgers, who first signed him as a 16-year-old playing for Mexico's Diablos Rojos. He made his rookie debut in 2016, and although he was suspended in 2019 after his first domestic violence charge, Urias established himself as one of the more dominant left-handed pitchers in baseball. In 2022, for instance, he led the majors in ERA+, which measures a pitchers earned runs allowed while adjusting for ballpark factors and league averages. The statistic helps to compare pitchers across different teams, leagues and eras.
