‘Chinki Minki' Surabhi, Samriddhi Roped In For Chhoriyan Chali Gaon
Popular twin entertainers Surabhi and Samriddhi Mehra, aka Chinki Minki, are known for their comic timing, playful banter and twin-themed content on Instagram and YouTube. But now, the duo is gearing up for an exciting new chapter—both professionally and on television. The duo will be seen stepping into the world of reality TV with Zee TV's much-awaited upcoming show Chhoriyan Chali Gaon.
But here's the twist: The two will be competing not as a team, but as individual contestants for the first time. The audience will get to see a never-before-seen version of the iconic duo as they tackle the game separately. Their participation is expected to add a fresh layer of fun and confusion to the show's format.
Ahead of the show's premiere, the two expressed their excitement, saying, 'This is something new for us, and we're super excited and a little nervous to see how we survive without being on the same team. But one thing's for sure, it's going to be double the masti for the audience."
The announcement comes shortly after the sisters announced their decision to part ways professionally. In an emotional note shared via their joint Instagram handle, Chinki and Minki said, 'With a heavy heart, we are now parting our ways as Jodi. We've decided to explore life on our individual journeys from here on."

Chinki and Minki shot to fame in 2019 with their breakout performance on The Kapil Sharma Show. They played the quirky, fun-loving neighbours of the host. But it was their impromptu dance to Piya Piya O Piya that quickly became viral, cementing their place in the industry.
Coming to Chhoriyan Chali Gaon, the show is set in a rustic village backdrop in Madhya Pradesh. The reality series is expected to premiere later this year on Zee TV and will be hosted by Roadies fame Rannvijay Singha. With a compelling cast and a unique rural format, Chhoriyan Chali Gaon promises an entertaining blend of challenges, light-hearted drama and unexpected twists.
Besides Chinki and Minki, the show will also feature a power-packed ensemble including Sana Makbul, Isha Malviya, Aamna Sharif, Nyra Banerjee, Chahat Pandey, Naera Mishra, Aishwarya Khare, Anita Hassanandani, Anjum Fakih and Dolly Javed (sister of internet sensation Uorfi Javed).
