Harrison Ford Talked Miley Cyrus Out of Filming ‘Something Beautiful' in a Forest
Cyrus explained that the pair of stars (who have known each other by 'just growing up in Disney and [being] in the same circles') were catching up on their respective projects when Cyrus decided to show him a PDF about her vision.

'I show him my idea of Somewhere Beautiful, which is performing in all the forests and at the pyramids and all these things. He goes, 'You really want to go and set up in a forest and do what?' He's like, 'You going to bring a crew? You got to…' He's like, 'Looks expensive,'' Cyrus told Lowe of the conversation.
The pop star shared that the conversation led her to make changes to the music film, which she hopes will be a replacement for touring Something Beautiful.
'I came back to the trailer, I was like, 'Guys, we're not performing in the forest anymore. Harrison Ford made a lot of sense,'' Cyrus said. 'That's why I want to create this film, the film is my way of touring.'
She added: 'That's why I'm putting it into theaters, because it's something you can watch night after night after night and you get to discover and you get to feel like you're a part of a performance but I don't have to tax myself in that way.'
During the interview, Cyrus explained that she was laying off touring due to the strain it puts on her body and vocal cords, especially after being diagnosed with Reinke's Edema, a condition caused by vocal cord overuse. She added that she would not undergo surgery, as 'the chance of waking up from a surgery and not sounding like myself is a probability.'
'I have this very large polyp on my vocal cord, which has given me a lot of the tone and the texture that has made me who I am, but it's extremely difficult to perform with because it's like running a marathon with ankle weights on,' Cyrus said. 'So even when I'm talking sometimes, at the end of the day I'll call my mom and she'll go, 'Oh, you sound like you're talking through a radio.' And that's how you know I'm really tired because it creates that ultimate vocal fry.'
Cyrus unveiled the track list for her album Something Beautiful earlier this week. It'll feature 12 songs, including collaborations with Naomi Campbell and rock star Brittany Howard. Cyrus is set to release the LP on May 30, followed by its short film premiering on June 6 at the Tribeca Film Festival before it hits theaters nationwide on June 12. A synopsis of the project describes it as 'a unique visual experience… including 13 original songs from the upcoming album. A one-of-a-kind pop opera from the mind of Miley Cyrus.'

Generate Key Takeaways Actor Jeff Daniels has again lashed out at President Donald Trump's supporters, this time with a seven-word message. The 70-year-old Emmy-winning actor, who on numerous occasions has criticized Trump and the GOP, spoke to MSNBC's Nicolle Wallace on the latest episode of her The Best People podcast about the current political climate under the Trump administration, including tariffs and the state of the Republican party. 'When Mitch [McConnell] started stacking the courts 25 years ago, I said it on your show once, they can see it coming,' Daniels told the host. 'And Mitch and company could see it coming. They were going to be the minority, so they just started and then here we are, and now you got it.' Issuing a pointed seven-word message to Trump supporters 'who thought this would be ok,' Daniels said: 'I hope you're losing tons of money.' Wallace responded in agreement. 'I mean, the tariffs are going to hurt your neighbors.' Jeff Daniels (left) said he hopes Trump supporters are 'losing tons of money' (Getty) Daniels further concurred, saying: 'Which I think, at the end of the day, that's what's going to do it. 'Wait a minute, the grocery bill is what? $180 more? I can't get that car that we have to have unless I pay another $8,000. What? Who do I blame for that? Who do I see about that?' One person.' When approached for comment, White House Spokesman Kush Desai told The Independent: 'Wow, another washed up, out-of-touch left-wing Hollywood clown is wishing harm on everyday Americans because they disagree with his opinions. Unfortunately for Jeff and fortunately for the American people, under President Trump bond and stock markets are rallying, Joe Biden's inflation crisis is over, and real wages are rising.' Elsewhere in the episode, Wallace opined that America has experienced a 'loss' in decency over the desire for more affordable goods. 'Well, I think at the end of the day it would be about just the price of eggs, did it go up or down, because that's what he told me he was going to lower the price of eggs or my grocery bill,' The Newsroom alum replied, branding the president a 'snake oil salesman.' Daniels also lamented Kamala Harris's loss in the 2024 presidential election, admitting he still thinks about her and how 'she would have been a good choice. I don't care what they say, because she would have done what [Abraham] Lincoln did.' Explaining how exactly he thought the former Vice President would have governed like Lincoln, Daniels said Lincoln 'surrounded himself with the people who would disagree with him, not the people who would, you know, take a knee and go, 'Yeah, more tariffs, sir, more.'' Daniels shot to fame for his leading role in 1994's cult classic comedy, Dumb and Dumber, and its 2014 sequel, Dumb and Dumber To. He's additionally featured in the beloved family comedy Because of Winn-Dixie (2005), George Clooney's 2005 political drama, Good Night, and Good Luck, and 2016's Allegiant, the final film in the Divergent dystopian trilogy. Besides film, he's also starred in numerous TV shows, including HBO's The Newsroom, The Looming Tower, and Godless. His work in all three earned him a total of five Emmy nominations, of which he won two. He received his first Emmy for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series in 2013 for The Newsroom, and his second in 2018 for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Limited Series or TV Movie for Godless.

Paulo Costa shares alleged Khamzat Chimaev DMs that inflamed rivalry: 'I want to take everything he has'
Paulo Costa hasn't changed his ultimate goal after his return to the win column at UFC 318. Costa battled it out for three rounds this past Saturday night in New Orleans to defeat Roman Kopylov in a much-needed unanimous decision. The win snapped the Brazilian's two-fight skid, giving the one-time UFC middleweight title challenger just his second win of his past six appearances. Advertisement Costa, 34, made it clear before the fight he still hopes to eventually get his hands on his old rival Khamzat Chimaev, whom he was supposed to fight in October 2023. Speaking on Monday's edition of "The Ariel Helwani Show," Costa revealed the private back-and-forth his longtime girlfriend, Tamara, had with Chimaev ahead of their canceled bout. "He said, 'Your man is not a man enough. He likes men,'" Costa claimed. "He sent her a picture of [Israel] Adesanya and me, he said, 'Look, he lost to Adesanya. He likes Black men. You should look for a better man than him.' Something like that, with no sense. "Of course, she sends some message back, 'Don't involve my family in this business. It's not about us because you never involve family in this. It's between you and Paulo. This is disrespectful. This is not the kind of thing that a man should do. If you want to talk to Paulo, this is not about me. It's not my business. This is only business. Take care of your problems with Paulo.' She said something like that. "I hate this motherf***er. I hate this guy. I want to fight him. I want to take everything he has." Unfortunately for Costa, a nasty staph infection on his elbow became dire enough to require surgery two weeks before his originally scheduled fight with Chimaev. As a result, former welterweight champion Kamaru Usman stepped into the bout on short notice and ultimately lost a majority decision against the undefeated middleweight contender. Advertisement In Chimaev's next fight, he'll challenge for the middleweight title against champion Dricus du Plessis at UFC 319 on Aug. 16. Costa said he will be in attendance in Chicago on that night, and he predicts Chimaev will come up short against "DDP" after gassing out as the fight progresses. That same strategy is also how he sees himself beating Chimaev, should the two ever book another fight. "I truly believe I'm one of the worst opponents for him, because I'm strong," Costa said. "I never go back[ward]. I have strong hips, strong legs. I can defend takedowns very well. And I'm going to make a hell of a fight for him. "I think me and Dricus is a kind of perfect fighter to beat him. I think Dricus has a kind of same style [as me], same body shape that are going to compromise his work. Chimaev is still very immature. He fights like an immature guy. Nobody rushes for a title fight, or five rounds against a very strong man like Dricus or me. He's going to do that because he's immature. He cannot compose himself and keep his base because he's emotional. He acts like a kid. I don't know what's his problem." Advertisement Regarding his own confidence levels, Costa admits he's still finding his way back to his best self after the Kopylov win. Before his title loss against Adesanya in 2020, Costa had finished all but one of his 13 opponents. Despite the great performance against Kopylov, Costa expects he'll only get better with more fights from here on out. "I'm still getting this confidence back," Costa said. "I need more fights. I need one more, two more, to get 100% of my confidence back, because I could finish this fight against Kopylov. That first [knockdown], when he fell and got up on his feet, I was — I don't know if I [went hard enough for the finish]. I will keep at the pace, [I was thinking] maybe it's not the right moment to go. Advertisement "But there was a good moment to go because he was rocked, still groggy, figuring out what happened. It was a clean shot. Clean straight in his mouth. He felt that. He was in kind of survival mode. I didn't take too many advantages of that. I could, but my confidence was not so good to do that."

AVATAR: FIRE AND ASH Trailer Reaction/Description and New Poster Art — GeekTyrant
Disney recently screened the first trailer Avatar: Fire and Ash at a provate press event, and it offered a first look at James Cameron's highly anticipated third entry in the franchise. The footage teases new Na'vi tribes, massive conflicts, and the return of familiar faces from The Way of Water. The first trailer will debut exclusively in theaters with screenings of The Fantastic Four: First Steps starting July 24. Directed by James Cameron, the film is set to hit theaters on December 19, 2025. The trailer itself was a little lackluster and felt more like a sizzle reel than a trailer. It's not that it didn't look visually great, it did! There was just a lack of substance and didn't really give us much. Regardless, as a fan of the franchise, I'm still excited to dive back into Pandora's world. The footage began with sweeping aerial shots before plunging into the water. Jake Sully's son kicks things off with a bold declaration: 'The strength of the ancestors is here.' We then see Spider embracing Jake, only for Jake's son to later shove him away. Jake tells Neytiri, 'You cannot live like this, baby, in hate.' One of the biggest reveals is the introduction of the Ash People, a fiery new Na'vi clan. A character approaches their volcanic territory with hands raised in what looks like surrender. The Ash People stand out with gray skin, black markings, and, most strikingly, the ability to wield fire. Colonel Miles Quaritch also appears as a Na'vi wearing Ash People war paint, signaling a dangerous alliance. The trailer continues with intense moments with Jake being arrested and led away by humans, a Na'vi woman on a hospital bed pleading for 'the children,' and Spider gasping for oxygen. Meanwhile, the Water Tribe joins Jake's family in an all-out battle against the Ash People, who have turned their backs on the old Na'vi ways. The Ash People's leader, Varang, delivers a chilling line: 'Your goddess has no dominion here.' The footage ramps up with scenes of Wind Traders soaring on contraptions and Fire People riding flying beasts. We even catch a glimpse of a Na'vi taking a flaming arrow mid-battle. Spider slides across floating rocks as fire explodes behind him, with Jake desperately reaching out to save him. The trailer makes it clear that Fire and Ash is setting up a massive war, not just between Na'vi clans like the Metkayina and the Ash People, but also against the humans. The story picks up from the events of Avatar: The Way of Water, where the RDA vowed to target Jake's family. This third installment brings back Sam Worthington, Zoe Saldaña, Sigourney Weaver, and Stephen Lang as the saga returns to Pandora. This time, the story will introduce the Ash People, a new Na'vi faction tied to the planet's volcanic regions. It looks like a darker, more intense chapter in the Avatar universe. Cameron previously said: 'You'll see a lot more Pandora that you never saw before. It's an insane adventure and a feast for the eyes, but it's also got very high emotional stakes, more than ever before. We're going into really challenging territory for all the characters you know and love.' Cameron previously shared: 'I've shown it to a few selected people and the feedback has been it's definitely the most emotional and maybe the best of the three so far.' I also have a new poster for you to check out below. It features the character Varang.
