The tournament kicks off with Group A, which includes hosts Switzerland, who will be determined to impress in front of a home crowd.
In the earlier kick off, Iceland will take on Finland at the Stockhorn Arena in Thon.
Then, all eyes will be on Basel as the Swiss begin their campaign with a tricky test against Norway.

This is set to be a huge tournament for Switzerland captain Lia Wälti, who has endured a challenging couple of years with injuries.
She is, without a doubt, her country's best player and her experience at the highest level will go a long way in helping the team have a good tournament.

Despite competing in the last two European Championships, Switzerland have never progressed out of the group stage, which places immense pressure on the home nation and their figurehead.

To say this is a make-or-break tournament for Norway would be something of an understatement, given their significant underperformance on the international stage in recent years.
Despite boasting some of the game's biggest talents - such as 2018 Ballon d'Or winner Ada Hegerberg, Barcelona's Caroline Graham Hansen, experienced defender Ingrid Engen, Arsenal's Frida Maanum, Chelsea's Guro Reiten, and Manchester United duo Celin Bizet and Elisabeth Terland - Norway's displays at major tournaments over the last nine years have fallen short of the standards expected from a nation that has reached two World Cup finals and six European finals.

The last Euros, in 2022, ended in disappointment as they failed to progress from a group featuring England and Austria, and included an 8-0 thrashing by the eventual champions.
At the 2023 World Cup, they did reach the knockout stage but exited at the first hurdle, falling to Japan in the round of 16.
For Norway and new manager Gemma Grainger, this marks something of a fresh chapter and a chance to exorcise some of the shadows of past failures.
Their opening game against Switzerland, however, will offer an early litmus test for how this tournament might unfold.

If this video from the Switzerland national team isn't enough to make you excited for what's to come this summer then nothing will!
Fun facts 📊
This summer will be Norway's 13th Women's European Championship, with Italy the only other nation to have appeared in as many editions of the tournament.
Iceland have won just one of their 13 previous matches at a Women's European Championship (D4, L8)
This will be Switzerland's third time hosting a major tournament across the men's and women's game, having staged the men's editions of the 1954 World Cup and the UEFA Euro 2008
Our predictions 🔮
Iceland 2-0 Finland
Switzerland 2-3 Norway

Crespo turns 50. Happy birthday to Hernan Crespo!

Refined technique, ice coolness in the area and a simply unparalleled flair for goal. Today, Hernán Crespo turns 50: he has played a huge part in Inter's history books and even today he remains in the heart of every Nerazzurri fan. Born on 5 July 1975 in Florida, near Buenos Aires, Crespo was nickname "Valdanito" for his technical and physical resemblance to Jorge Valdano. And just like Valdano, Hernán was an elegant forward, powerful in the box and incredibly good at finding the net at the right time. The Argentinian star lit up European football, and he had two important stages of his career with Inter. Advertisement He first spell in black and blue was back in 2002/03: he got 16 goals in 30 appearances and had a great Champions League campaign, throughout which he scored nine goals, leading Inter to the semi-final. A huge impact, and a season that left its trace. After going to Chelsea, Hernán came back to wear the Nerazzurri shirt in the summer of 2006. Three seasons, 87 games, 30 goals, back-to-back Scudettos and two Italian Supercups. It was an adventure full of success and unforgettable moments. His overall record for Inter speaks volumes: 117 appearances and 46 goals. The numbers of a great goal-scorer. And if you look at the modern Champions League, Crespo has a special place in Nerazzurri history: with 11 goals he is one of Inter's top scorers in the competition. The image of Crespo celebrating in front of the crowds with his arms up is still part of many fans' memories. Hernán was not just a great forward, but an important part of Inter history and all of the Nerazzurri family wish him all the very best!
