
Mleiha Club forms 'Our Holiday Is Different' committee
During the meeting, the Board approved the formation of the "Sharjah Sports Summer - Our Holiday Is Different" Events Committee, which will run from June 30 to July 31, 2025. The committee will be chaired by Mohammed Awad Al Ketbi, Board Member and Chairman of the Club's Cultural and Community Service Committee.

Mleiha Club continues its distinguished performance as an effective centre for sports, cultural, and community outreach through a series of annual programmes and activities that align with government initiatives and support the local social fabric.
This decision comes within the framework of the club's keenness to prepare early to organise a distinguished edition of the summer events, especially after the club's great success in the previous edition of the programme, when it won first place. This reflects its excellence in providing comprehensive and purposeful programmes that attract all segments of society.

On this occasion, His Excellency Mohammed Sultan Khasouni Al Ketbi, Chairman of the Board of Directors, affirmed that Mleiha Club is always keen to be at the forefront of sports and community institutions that meet the aspirations of community members. He highlighted the club's commitment to providing distinguished summer programmes that combine entertainment and awareness, enhancing its role in serving the community.
Mohammed Awad Al Ketbi expressed his pride in the Board of Directors' confidence in appointing him to chair the committee, emphasising the team's readiness to organie a summer season full of cultural, sports, and recreational activities, in line with the aspirations of youth and families in a safe and attractive environment, inspired by the successes achieved last season.

He added that the programme offers a rich array of sports, cultural, social, and skill-based activities, carefully designed to meet participants' aspirations and contribute to building a generation that is healthy, aware, and responsible. He pointed out that the latest tools and methods have been employed in supervision and organization to ensure the programme's success and deliver maximum benefit to participants. Programme Details and Community Partnerships Highlighted The conference also included a detailed presentation of the programme's schedule, registration procedures, and daily activity plans. Special attention was given to community partnerships that contribute to the sustainability of the program's positive impact. Sharjah Sports Summer launches Monday with a variety of activities
Activities for Youth The program is designed for boys and girls aged 7–12 and 13–17, providing a wide range of activities such as entertainment events, educational workshops, Quran memorisation sessions, e-sports, various sports games, and cultural competitions hosted at the clubs. Additionally, there will be awareness and learning-focused workshops. The evaluation committee will visit the clubs to review how each has executed its planned activities, after which three top sports clubs and three top specialized clubs will be selected and announced based on the assessment results. Aiming for Excellence Bakheet Saeed Al Qars, Director of Sports and Community Events and Chairman of the Sharjah Sports Summer Committee, highlighted that the committee is committed to delivering an exceptional edition, in line with the success of previous years. He explained that Sharjah Sports Summer goes beyond being a seasonal event; it is a meaningful platform where participants gain valuable experiences and uncover their talents in different areas. He affirmed that the program presents a perfect opportunity for participants to enjoy their summer break and make the most of it. Weekly Program Themes He added that the program consists of five themed weeks: "I Am Creative," "Here is Sharjah," "I Am the Community," "I Am an Athlete," and "I Am the Future." He also pointed out that precise criteria set by the evaluation committee will be used to select the winning sports and specialized clubs based on their fulfillment of these standards. Dibba Al Hisn Club is set to launch 'Our Holiday is different'
