WNBA Legend Lisa Leslie Interacts With Angel Reese After Chicago Sky Game
Angel Reese has been elevating her game lately for the Chicago Sky. Entering Sunday's game against the Los Angeles Sparks, she was riding a streak of three straight double-doubles—and her shooting efficiency was starting to trend upward.

Against the Sparks, Reese delivered again with 24 points on 10-of-19 shots and also pulled down 16 rebounds while adding seven assists and two blocks. Behind her performance, the Sky posted a 92-85 win—their second victory in the last three games.
Reese became just the fourth player to have at least 15 points and 15 rebounds in three consecutive games, joining A'ja Wilson, Jonquel Jones and WNBA legend Lisa Leslie.
Leslie was excited about Reese's accomplishment in the latter's post on Instagram.

'My voice is jacked up,' Leslie said. 'You already know. Double-double queen, what?'
Reese, the No. 7 pick in last year's WNBA draft, was the runner-up in the 2024 Rookie of the Year behind Caitlin Clark of the Indiana Fever. While she has had trouble shooting a respectable percentage so far in her pro career, she has been a rebounding machine and a good defender.

Coming into Sunday, she had a career average of 12.9 rebounds a game.

The Sky improved to 5-11, taking baby steps toward becoming competitive again. They won the championship in 2021, but they have finished under. 500 in each of the previous two seasons.
Chicago will have six full days off before it visits the Minnesota Lynx next Sunday, July 6. It will then face the Washington Mystics on the road before returning home to host Paige Bueckers and the Dallas Wings.

Brayden Jacobs is so big he makes 6-foot-4 ex-NFL RB dad fun sized
Brandon Jacobs was an absolute nightmare for NFL defenses to tackle. At a listed 6-foot-4 and 264 pounds, he was built like an edge rusher but ran like the New York Giants once hoped Ron Dayne would. He totaled more than 5,000 rushing yards in eight seasons with New York, including a pair of 1,000-yard campaigns and two Super Bowl wins over the New England Patriots. This is all to say it's very difficult to make him look small. So if the soon-to-be 43-year-old running back is worried about that, maybe he should stop working out with his son, Brayden. Brayden Jacobs is a 6-foot-7 offensive tackle who committed to Clemson University as a high four-star recruit last January. And maybe the perspective or dad Brandon's weighted jumping form is playing tricks on me, but he certainly looks like he may have grown since his last official weigh-in. So let's see if that's just a camera tr-- Hmmm. Nope. That's just a big dude. The Jacobs genes produce tiny mountains who absolutely should never fly coach. Well, good luck getting around that, ACC pass rushers. This article originally appeared on For The Win: Brayden Jacobs is so big he makes 6-foot-4 ex-NFL RB dad fun sized

Keys open to rare double but Sabalenka lies in wait
Madison Keys' Australian Open victory in January was hailed as a breakthrough success for a player who had long been touted for a grand slam triumph but never realised it. At 30, the American is young enough to build on that win, but not so young that she can take her time, and she wasted little in beating Olga Danilovic 6-4 6-2 to reach the Wimbledon third round on day three of the championships. The 37th-ranked Danilovic battled hard, saving five break points in one game in Wednesday's second set, but Keys always looked in control. After declaring the record-breaking opening day heat "quite toasty" the Florida resident said of the cooler conditions: "I definitely felt a little more comfortable today, it's the cloudy, rainy England we know and love so I felt a little more normal." The third round awaits 💪Madison Keys defeats Olga Danilovic 6-4, 6-2 to continue a confident start on return to #Wimbledon — Wimbledon (@Wimbledon) July 2, 2025 Keys is seeking to emulate her teenage inspiration, Serena Williams, in achieving the relatively rare AO-Wimbledon double. Williams did this four times, but only three other players have won both events in the same calendar year since the Australian Open moved from grass to hard courts in 1988. Of those only Amelie Mauresmo, in 2006, has done so in the 21st century. Steffi Graf (1988 & 1989) and Martina Hingis (1997) are the others while most recently Ash Barty held both titles but won Wimbledon in 2021 and the Australian Open in 2022. With three of the top five seeds eliminated on Tuesday Keys is a serious contender, though Aryna Sabalenka, the woman she defeated at Melbourne Park, lies on the horizon. The pair are slated to meet in the quarter-finals after the No.1 seed beat Marie Bouzkova 7-6 (7-4) 6-4 on Centre Court. Sabalenka looked at risk of a shock herself after her 48th-ranked French opponent broke her to serve for the first set at 6-5. But Sabalenka broke back, took the tiebreak, and was never threatened again. Two more seeds were evicted, Paris Olympic silver medallist Donna Vekic and former US Open finalist Leylah Fernandez. Vekic, seeded 22 and a semi-finalist here last year, went down 6-1 6-3 to Spain's Cristina Busca while Canadian 29th-seed Fernandez was beaten by German Laura Siegemund 6-2 6-3. Elsewhere rising Brit Sonay Kartal beat Bulgarian Viktoriya Tomova 6-2 6-2,
