Tom Brady, Sydney Sweeney Get Friendly at Jeff Bezos' Wedding in Venice: Report
Tom Brady, Sydney Sweeney Get Friendly at Jeff Bezos' Wedding in Venice: Report originally appeared on Athlon Sports.
Former superstar NFL quarterback and Las Vegas Raiders minority owner Tom Brady has been single for a while now, and he is apparently enjoying his no-strings-attached relationship status at the celebrity wedding of Amazon founder Jeff Bezos and his new wife Lauren Sanchez in Venice.
TMZ reported on Friday, June 27, that Brady is in attendance and has been "chatting up" Hollywood leading lady Sydney Sweeney -- one of the biggest movie stars in the world who also happens to be 20 years Brady's junior.
We've learned the most hopping place in the Floating City is The Gritti Palace, a landmark waterfront hotel where a collection of Jeff and Lauren's most famous friends are staying -- and it's the place to be for wedding guests looking to party.
Sources who are there tell us Tom [Brady], Leo [DiCaprio], Orlando [Bloom], Sydney [Sweeney], Jerry Seinfeld, Charissa Thompson and the Kardashians are all staying at the Gritti, and [Sweeney] is the 'center of attention' for single guys, including [Brady].
We're told the gang's been hanging at the hotel bar, partying and dancing, and [Brady] is taking center stage as the life of the party -- even spending some time chatting up [Sweeney].
TMZ's report didn't include any further details about the interactions between Brady, 47, and Sweeney, 27, other than to say the following:
"While the Gritti is crawling with hot ladies, we're told this has become more about the guys bonding with each other than trying to hook up with women," TMZ wrote. This story was originally reported by Athlon Sports on Jun 28, 2025, where it first appeared.

Kim Kardashian Defies Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchéz's Black-Tie Wedding Dress Code, in Body-Hugging Bandeau
When you buy through links on our articles, Future and its syndication partners may earn a commission. This summer's most-talked-about wedding has finally arrived. Amazon billionaire Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez are tying the knot this weekend, following a star-studded bachelorette party and a quick jaunt to space. And the A-list attendees have begun to touch down. Kim Kardashian was one of the first celebrity guests to arrive in Venice for the destination wedding, alongside Khloé Kardashian and Kris Jenner. On June 26, Kardashian was spotted at Marco Polo Airport, before boarding a boat to the three-day nuptial event. Fashion enthusiasts assumed Kardashian's wedding looks would lean more Italian (think: SKIMS's collab with Dolce & Gabbana). Instead, she channeled '90s grunge in charcoal gray Balenciaga 'fit. The reality TV star sported a twisted strapless bandeau bra. Paired with a body-hugging maxi skirt, also from the Spanish label, her outfit juxtaposed the ceremony's black-tie dress code dramatically. A matching zip-up hoodie hung loosely around Kardashian's elbows. Kardashian's next surprise came in footwear form, as she slipped on a pair of snakeskin boots from Amina Muaddi—a decidedly anti-summer shoe style. View Deal Khloé followed her older sister's lead, in a skin-tight leopard-print jumpsuit (similar to the style she wore for her Kourtney Kardashian's 2022 Italian wedding). The Good American founder elevated her bustier-style one-piece with matching mules in a metallic bronze shade. Her airport-approved carry-on was Louis Vuitton's customizable Keepall Bandoulière 45 in baby pink with a white monogrammed print. The bag is listed for $2,520, without the personalized details. View Deal Contrary to her daughters, Jenner looked ready for the wedding in a goth-glam gown. Cascading lace tiers covered the long-sleeve number from top-to-bottom, much like the Dolce & Gabbana designs she wore at Kourtney's wedding. Cat-eye sunglasses and a cross necklace completed Jenner's arrival attire. Watch this space. The best looks are certainly to come.

We've also highlighted a few standout picks you won't want to miss, including the third and final season of 'The Summer I Turned Pretty,' a new action-comedy featuring Idris Elba and John Cena, and 'Ballard,' the new 'Bosch' spinoff. Not seeing anything that grabs you? No problem — check out our curated guides to the best movies and shows currently on Prime Video for even more streaming recommendations. Otherwise, scroll down to see everything new coming to Prime Video this July. 'Heads of State' is a new action-comedy featuring an unlikely duo: U.S. President Will Derringer (John Cena) and U.K. Prime Minister Sam Clarke (Idris Elba). After their jet is shot down, the two sworn rivals must band together alongside MI6 agent Noel Bisset (Priyanka Chopra Jonas) to survive a deadly global conspiracy aimed at shaking the foundation of their nations. If you're in the mood for fast-paced global stakes, charismatic star power, and light-hearted action, 'Heads of State' looks to be July's must-watch on Prime Video. Whether Cena and Elba can set their rivalry aside and save the world … well, that's the fun of finding out. Stream "Heads of State" on Prime Video from July 2 Get instant access to breaking news, the hottest reviews, great deals and helpful tips. 'Ballard' is set in the 'Bosch' universe and follows Detective Renée Ballard (Maggie Q). After being introduced in the 'Bosch: Legacy' finale, Ballard now leads an underfunded, all-volunteer LAPD cold case unit. Determined and fiercely empathetic, she juggles complex investigations like the high-profile 'Flower Girl' serial killer case while navigating bureaucratic roadblocks and inner-department corruption. Backed by familiar faces including Harry Bosch (Titus Welliver), Ballard is tasked with reopening unsolved crimes, but the emotional toll and political weight of the job threaten to overwhelm her. Created by 'Bosch' author Michael Connelly, the show leans into grounded storytelling, with a focus on justice, trauma, and the messiness of police work. With all ten episodes premiering at once, 'Ballard' offers fans of the franchise (and detective dramas in general) a darker, more character-driven story. Stream "Ballard" on Prime Video from July 9 Premiering July 16 with a two-episode kick-off and rolling out weekly through September 17, the third and final season of 'The Summer I Turned Pretty' adapts Jenny Han's concluding novel. Set two years after Belly's (Lola Tung) decision to be with Jeremiah (Gavin Casalegno), the story follows her summer after junior year of college. Belly and Jeremiah announce their engagement, only for Conrad (Christopher Briney) to reappear, reopening old wounds and thrusting Belly into a powerful emotional crossroads. With an expanded 11-episode run (the longest yet) the series dives deeper into the central love triangle, Belly's growth into adulthood, and the dynamics between her friends and family. So expect moments of heartbreak, healing, and surprising adventures (including potential new settings like Paris). Mark Hamill Recalls His Idea For Luke Skywalker's Tragic Backstory In ‘Star Wars: The Last Jedi'
More than 30 years after he'd last played the role, Mark Hamill had a much darker idea for Luke Skywalker's life in Star Wars: Episode VIII — The Last Jedi (2017). The Emmy winner recalled his pitch for writer/director Rian Johnson about where Luke's life had taken him in the years since Episode VI — Return of the Jedi (1983) that would make him turn his back on the Force before returning in Episode VII — The Force Awakens (2015). More from Deadline Mark Hamill On Why He Won't Return As Luke Skywalker In 'Star Wars' Franchise: 'I Had My Time' Rian Johnson Defends 'Star Wars: The Last Jedi's 'Slightly Goofy Humor' – Watch Allan Freeman Dies: Marketing Exec Who Worked On Campaigns For 'Star Wars', 'The Shining' & Three Best Picture Oscar Winners Was 88 'I thought, what could make someone give up a devotion to what is basically a religious entity, to give up being a Jedi,' he explained on the Bullseye podcast. 'Well, the love of a woman,' Hamill continued. 'So, he falls in love with a woman. He gives up being a Jedi. They have a child together. At some point the child, as a toddler, picks up an unattended lightsaber, pushes the button, and is killed instantly. The wife is so full of grief, she kills herself.' Hamill's latest interview comes after he shot down any hopes of Luke returning for another installment in the Disney and Lucasfilm franchise, after the character died during a pivotal moment in The Last Jedi, becoming one with the Force. 'I am so grateful to George [Lucas] for letting me be a part of that back in the days, the humble days when George called Star Wars 'the most expensive low-budget movie ever made,'' he told 'We never expected it to become a permanent franchise and a part of pop culture like that. But my view is, I had my time. I'm appreciative of that, but I really think they should focus on the future and all the new characters.' Hamill jokingly added, 'And by the way, when I disappeared in [The Last Jedi], I left my robes behind. And there's no way I'm gonna appear as a naked Force ghost. I'm just letting you know that right now.'
