Q+A with Dannii
Hello Dannii, the boys are back, tell us about the second series?
It feels like such a long wait since we saw the first ever cast of I Kissed A Boy. Season Two delivers and it is a wild ride so buckle up! There is a new set of boys and I have changed up the pace and chemistry tests so nobody knows what is coming!
You must have learnt so much from the girls last year but what are you hoping to learn from the boys this time around?
Each season is totally fresh. We film what unfolds and the boys were ready to be as open and honest as where we left off from the girls.
The show is known for its mix of drama and heartfelt moments. Without any spoilers can you share your highlights?
These boys are brave and open hearted, and here for love. I love how they all went at their own pace, but made the absolute most out of three sun filled weeks in the stunning surrounds of Puglia in Italy.
How do you approach guiding the boys through the emotional highs and lows of finding love?
I love the chemistry tests. It is like a mirror to the boys, so they can stop and see what they are really feeling, and where they really want to be. I am always full of hope and nerves when we get to the last day and the commitment ceremony happens as nobody knows how it will unfold.
What can you tell us about any memorable behind the scenes moments?
I remember being in my dressing room at the Masseria and watching the live feed of cameras, it is electric when you see something unfold that you know is going to change everything!
Were there any challenges filming the series this time around?
We had some weather issues where we were filming outside and a lightning storm didn't get the memo that we had a Kiss Off - it was very dramatic. We ended up all having to take shelter for a while.
I was also dealing with an annoying issue where I had arrived with three spider bites that happened in Australia before I departed, and then another five spider bites that I got during filming…. they love me! Thank goodness we had pain killers, ice packs and a great medic on site. These huge itchy red bites were definitely not what I had planned to accessorise with my couture!
What would you say is the secret formula to playing cupid?
I want to be there to assist with these boys looking for love. It all starts with the romantic setting of the masseria and lots of sunshine. The escape from phones, texting and swiping on apps really helps encourage deep and real conversation. I just help it all move along and hope for a lasting match.
What has been the most touching or memorable comment you've received about what I Kissed a Boy represents to the LGBTQ+ community?
Friends of mine from the community have told me so many stories over the years of how hard it was to grow up without any role models on TV, and life would have been so different for them when they were the same age if they had something like this on TV. I think it is important we all feel 'seen'.
How do you hope I Kissed a Boy inspires viewers to embrace love in all its forms?
Our show is a celebration of love for the LGBTQIA+ community. I think it is a great example of how people can blossom when they feel safe and supported.
Q+A with Layton
Hello Layton. How excited are you for the second series of I Kissed A Boy?
VERY excited. I feel like people are going to love this second season.
Why do you think the show is so significant for the LGBTQ+ community?
As if we're the first UK dating show for boys who like boys? Seems crazy right? And we're only on our second season. Visibility is SO important. Especially whilst LGBTQIA+ human rights seem to be going backwards all around us all over the world.
What's the best part about narrating the boys love journeys?
The best part is watching the episode the day before I get in the booth, then getting to work and having a big gossip about all the love, drama and who kisses who etc with the producers. Because I don't know anything until I watch it. The fans are in for a treat.
Is your LGBTQ+ icon still Lady Gaga or have you moved on?
Honestly, yeah. She's still mother! Abracadabra and all.
If you could give the boys one piece of dating advice for the show, what would it be?
Just be you. Unapologetically you.
What's your favourite part of the show's celebration of the LGBTQ+ community?
I think it gives boys from all over the UK and beyond hope. That they too will hopefully find love. We grow up with a jaded view of the world before we eventually 'come out'! So, to see a masseria full of out and proud boys is inspiring.

The 10 most annoying things British tourists do on holiday
No nudity, no beers on the street, and please keep the noise down: these are just some of the new laws greeting British visitors to Portofino this summer. Fed up with tourists' rowdy antics, the Italian town has pledged to impose fines of up to €500 (£435) on those who don't behave – and it's not alone. In July, the Spanish city of Malaga announced its own rules, pleading visitors to 'be respectful of heritage', 'be kind to workers', and not 'attract attention' in public. It's all common sense, surely? Not according to those who actually live in Europe's tourism hotspots. We asked them to name tourists ' bad, mad and disgusting behaviours, and the list is lengthy – with many saying that British visitors are the worst offenders. From tiny bugbears to 'culture-killing' actions, read on to discover the capers that earn us our rock-bottom reputation. Getting naked – and randy 'In winter, Malia is a sleepy little town, but as soon as the British arrive, the place is an unholy mess, with girls in thongs strutting down the sidewalk, guys with bare torsos and people vomiting – or even having sex – outside the bars,' says travel writer Heidi Fuller-Love, who has lived in Crete for 15 years. Malia is notorious for its popularity with young British holidaymakers, as immortalised in cringe-tastic comedy The Inbetweeners Movie. '[I wish Britons] understood how offensive this behaviour is to Greeks for whom nudity is a no-no, and whose society is based on the respect of others.' Being the worst type of drunk British tourists' notorious drinking habits are spilling out of the resorts and into the cities, says Paris resident Sara. 'Inebriated young Britons become boisterous, vulgar and often bother women in a really unpleasant way. In Paris, they gravitate to areas like Montmartre, Pigalle or the Latin Quarter, thus annoying not just the locals but also fellow visitors.' There is a small mercy, says Sara: 'because they are in central Paris, at least they won't drink and drive'. Hogging the golf course Not only are Britons usually terrible golfers, but we monopolise the course unashamedly, says Martin Rosenberg, founder of travel booking site and a resident of Belek in Antalya, Turkey, which has several championship courses. 'They act as if they've bought the entire golf course for their week, and their pace of play is so slow. If they're in a group of two or three, they couldn't possibly be paired up with anyone else to make a four-ball – but there's no way they're paying extra to block off the spare places. After 20 years I have less and less to do with Brits on holiday as I find them rude, arrogant and selfish.' Rushing the sights – and forgetting the rest Stop trying to squeeze Venice into just one day, says Italy travel writer Demi Anter – it's destroying the city. 'The magic of Venice is not to be found when rushing through the 'sights' as a daytripper,' she insists. 'Overtourism is killing the city's culture: in 2009 activists staged a funeral for Venice, marking the drop in the island's population from 170,000 in the fifties to under 60,000 that year. It's now around 50,000. Don't avoid visiting, but take a week or more, and spend money locally.' Complaining it's 'not like home' 'You'd never hear a French, Dutch or German tourist say 'Where's the fish and chip shop?', or 'Where can a man get a decent pint around here?' – but these are the most common things a Brit will comment on in Spain,' says TK Smith, a Briton who has lived in the country for more than 20 years. 'That's why places like Fuengirola and Benalmadena look more like Clacton-on-Sea than the Costa del Sol. It appears the most horrifying thing to a British tourist is that a destination has its own history, culture, food and personality.' Embarrassing ourselves on 'beer bikes' Popular with stag and hen groups, 'beer bikes' are basically city tours on a giant pedal-powered vehicle, with an open bar at its heart. 'They clog up Lisbon's cycle paths and come along one after another,' says Christopher Fitch, author of Wild Cities, who has lived in Lisbon for five years. 'It should be the city's responsibility to ban them as they did in Amsterdam. Either way, it's always British accents that I hear as I'm squeezing my bike past…' Ignoring the local language 'It might sound like a small thing, but in Versailles we have a problem with British tourists disrespecting the local bakery shops,' says resident Jean Cooper. 'They barge in demanding the locals speak English, and it's so frustrating for us because going to the bakery is a big part of our daily lives. A word or two in French can make the interaction a lot better! I just wish they were more respectful.' Staying in rental apartments British travellers commonly eschew hotels for rental properties, says Barcelona journalist Pablo Castaño, but doing so only exacerbates the city's infamous overtourism woes. 'Many rental apartments are illegal and those that are legal are a great problem for the city, because they expel residents from their neighbourhoods and increase housing prices.' If hotels are too expensive, consider a hostel instead – and avoid staying in peak season between May and September. Ordering the wrong type of coffee 'You can spot Brits at an Italian coffee bar because they're the ones hanging around in clusters, waiting to order 'large' cappuccinos – but we only have one size,' says Kenny Dunn. A long-term Rome resident and founder of Eating Europe food tours, he's well-versed in Italy's coffee culture, unlike most Britons. 'When in Rome, don't queue for the barista to take your order: stroll in confidently, and order the right coffee for the time of day at the counter, which means no cappuccino after 11am. After dinner, opt for an espresso – and yes, it's espresso not expresso.' Driving too slowly While speeding on road trips is obviously a no-no, slowing to a snail's pace is a guaranteed way to get locals riled up. 'Tourists drive like they've never seen a bend before,' says Lake District-based travel writer Monique Gadella. 'On a road where I drive 50mph, they do 30mph AND break for every bend – even the most shallow ones. It's so frustrating! If people just let go of the accelerator they'll slow down enough to [take the] corner.'

Love Island couple Meg and Dejon's 'game plan' is revealed as they are accused of 'showmance' for the final after blazing rows
Love Island's Megan Moore and Dejon William's 'game plan' has been revealed as they have been accused of only staying together for the final. Dejon, 26, has come under fire for his behaviour towards Meg, 25, after keeping her around but continuously flirting with the other bombshells that enter the villa. The couple appeared to go from strength to strength as they are now officially boyfriend and girlfriend and confessed that they 'love' each other. However, things went awry in recent episodes, with the pair becoming embroiled in a string of blazing rows during what was supposed to be a romantic date night. During Friday's episode, Meg addressed Dejon's confession that he would couple up with Yasmin Pettet if he wasn't coupled up with her. While Dejon looked stony-faced, Meg shared: 'Because every single challenge that has been happening recently, you know how upset I've been. 'You know how bad I felt the last couple of weeks, so for you to put someone's name on the board that actually talks down on you constantly. What the f**k?' After attempting to interrupt her on multiple occasions, he replied: 'Because I put Yas's name on the board, that doesn't mean I want recouple.' Megan then cut him off and explained she 'doesn't want to hear it anymore', to which Dejon concluded that it was 'fine' before they were reduced to sitting in silence. After watching the tense scenes, viewers flocked to X - formerly known as Twitter - to share their theories that the couple are only together to make it to the final. Comments included: 'Narrrr Dejon's game plan has failed him And he's crashing out real bad !! Now he can't even hold it together . He has hated this girl from early'; 'No Megan, Dejon is annoyed because his game plan is failing & his Mrs is 'making him look bad'; 'dejon's game plan is simple. trap her, make her your girlfriend, say i love you, then use all those things against her. master manipulator final boss'; 'Dejon had a game plan entering the villa but he picked the wrong girl and now it's backfiring #loveisland #loveislanduk'; ''You're trying to make me look bad' Dejon is actually in here with a game plan. He wants the 25k and brand deals for real.' Just moments later, the couple narrowly avoided being eliminated as Megan and Conor were instead sent home, despite Dejon and Meg both voicing their concerns that it would be them. It is just latest 'game-playing' accusation Dejon has been hit with as fans of the show have claimed he and Meg 'won't last three months'. During a game of Knowing Me, Knowing You, the islanders were asked who they would couple up with if they were not with their current partners. Dejon confessed that he would couple up with Yas because he has previously explored that connection earlier in the season. The comment shocked Meg as she explained Dejon had never expressed that she would be his number two in the competition before. This unsettled Dejon and he accused Meg of trying to make him look bad in front of the cameras. Speaking at the fire pit, Dejon quipped: 'You're trying to make me look bad. And I don't understand why you are trying to make me look bad.' And this is just latest accusation Dejon has been hit with as fans have claimed he has 'shown his true colours' with the TV show comment and say he and Meg 'won't last three months' In defence, Megan replied: 'I am not trying to make you look bad' which prompted Dejon to say: 'At the time, Billykiss was also in the villa. I said to Yas you are my number one. 'And then after you, it would be if I had to, it would be Yas and Billykiss.' Megan replied 'yeah' to which Dejon remarked, 'so you do remember the conversation?' Smiling, she explained: 'yeah I do remember you say that,' but Dejon cut her off and added: 'I know but I know what I am saying. You just tried to act like I didn't tell you that. That's a big thing.' This conversation sparked outrage among viewers as they claimed he was controlling and was gaslighting her. Taking to X, one penned: 'all my disdain for meg aside the way dejon speaks to her is so off putting and uncomfortable. if he is gaslighting her and speaking to her like that infront of cameras on a national tv show what on earth will he be like behind close doors'; 'the gaslighting from dejon here is CRAZY. meg is literally calm and collected and didn't even say there was an issue, just said how she felt. for someone who didn't care what other people thought of him, dejon seems to care way too much'; 'dejon lowkey scary look at how he looks genuinely annoyed at meg for getting things wrong and belittled her after it… i don't even like her but free her fr'; 'That conversation between Meg and Dejon was a masterclass in emotional abuse. Ladies in real life make sure you never let a man speak to you like that' 'blu tells dejon that meg isn't that popular outside the villa and suddenly dejon is picking fights with her' 'Dejon knows the public hate him and now he's looking to blame Meg for that' 'DEJON DEFLECTING AND BLAMING MEG. HOW DARE YOU SAY BECAUSE THE CAMERAS ARE AROUND YOU ARE TRYING TO MAKE ME LOOK BAD. EWWWWWWWW. TOXIC BEHAVIOR AGAIN.' Love Island fans have already accused Dejon of being a 'game-player' after he declared his love for Meg on Tuesday night. The episode saw the Islanders' families and friends enter the Mallorca villa to deliver their verdicts, with Meg's mother and sister having some choice words for Dejon. In awkward scenes, Meg defended Dejon as her mother Nathalie and sister Paige warned her about 'letting him away with a lot' before branding him a 'player'. After the tense meeting, Dejon was quick to take things to the next level with Meg, pulling her on to the terrace to declare his love for her. 'Like the feeling comes, even when I think about you, like this feeling in my chest, but saying it has been hard for me because it's such a big thing,' he told her. 'But honestly like, I do I love you,' he added, prompting a smiling Meg to say the all-important three words back before they shared a kiss. After a tense meeting with Meg's family, Dejon was quick to take things to the next level with her, pulling her on to the terrace to declare his love for her However, viewers were less than impressed as they took to X - formerly known as Twitter to claim that the declaration was all part of his plan to win the £50,000 prize. They branded the couple as 'fake' as they claimed it seemed like Dejon had 'studied' previous years of Love Island and had planned the timing for his love declaration. Comments included: 'Dejon has studied love island sooo well WOW I wouldn't be surprised if these two win at this point'; 'Dejon and Meg really going for the ''I love you'' in an attempt to win the £50k... fair'; 'The way Dejon has carefully curated the path he's paved with Meg… In the history of Love Island, I don't think we've ever seen anyone as shamelessly calculated and competitive as him. The funniest part? He thinks we don't see it. No good Dej'; 'Dejon and Meg the fakest of them all. In the history of love island Uk, this is the fakest I've ever seen, especially Dejon'; 'Producers of love island stopppp forcing Megan and Dejon on ussss'; 'Dejon really studied the love island game lol'; 'Dejon is never getting past the game player allegations. He's gotta know how this looks - why is he acting like an AI bot who's watched 100 episodes of love island?' 'Like the feeling comes, even when I think about you, like this feeling in my chest, but saying it has been hard for me because it's such a big thing,' he told her However, viewers were less than impressed as they took to X - formerly known as Twitter to claim that the declaration was all part of his plan to win the £50,000 prize And his fellow Islanders also seemed less than convinced as they received quite the mixed reaction upon telling the group their news. Though the other Islanders all clapped and cheered them, the truth later came out during a challenge, where they had to share their true feelings on other couples. The Islanders repeatedly brought up Dejon and Meg's love declaration as they questioned the timing, before they were voted as the 'fakest' couple. Yasmin was very vocal after voting for them in the category, recalling how Dejon had repeatedly been caught out for not being truthful about his flirty chats. She claimed: 'I think there's been a lot of times D where you've been caught out on movie nights or saying certain things and downplaying certain situations with other girls that have been in this villa. 'And I think sometimes it can seem like things have been rushed between you two.' Toni Laites also voted for them as 'fake' because they never told her about her ex Harrison Solomon having sex with Lauren Wood despite using their 'friendship' as an excuse after arguments. Katie Price and Kerry Katona reveal they WANT their teenage daughters to go on Love Island and follow in their reality TV footsteps as they weigh in on 'nepo baby' debate
Katie Price and Kerry Katona have confessed that they want their teenage daughters to go on ITV 's flagship show Love Island. Katie, 47, is a mother to Harvey, 22, with her ex Dwight Yorke, Junior, 19, and Princess 18, with ex-husband Peter Andre, and Jett, 11, and Bunny, 10, with ex-husband Kieran Hayler. Meanwhile, Kerry, 44, shares daughters Molly, 23, and Lilly Sue, 22, with her first husband Brian McFadden; Heidi, 18, and Max, 16, with second husband Mark Croft and her youngest DJ, 10, with late husband George Kay. Now, the famous friends have confessed that they want their respective teenage daughters, Princess and Heidi, to sign up for Love Island and follow in their reality TV footsteps. Katie told The Sun: 'I always say Love Island, Heidi and Princess need to do it together.' To which Kerry added: 'The way I see it is, forget management, forget fame, what an amazing memory, what an amazing adventure.' The pair have confessed to The Sun that they want their two teenage daughters, Princess and Heidi (pictured with her mother Kerry) to be a competitor on the dating reality show Love Island Kerry also hit back at 'nepo baby' accusations as she insisted their children would only be able to thrive in the industry if they had the talent as well. 'Everyone talks about nepotism right, but everyone has a contact for somebody, I can open a door for you, whether you get through that door and you stay through it, that's on your own f*cking merit,' she said. 'You don't see Brooklyn Beckham playing f*cking football, because he's sh*t - this is our family business, this is what we do as a family.' Love Island is a UK dating competition where a group of singles live together in a luxury villa and try to form romantic connections in a bid to win a £50,000 cash prize. It would not be Princess' first foray into reality TV as she has teamed up with ITV to release her fly-on-the-wall series, The Princess Diaries. Princess is also said to already have a net worth of £500,000 and starred on the cover of OK! Magazine for her 18th birthday as she follows in her mum's showbiz footsteps. While this is a substantial amount of money, this is just 10 per cent of what Princess's ratings can secure as she has vowed to become a 'millionaire by the age of 20' For a single sponsorship brand deal video, the blonde beauty can be anywhere between £2,540 to £3,810. Meanwhile, Heidi, who boasts 18,000 followers on Instagram, has reportedly just 'done her first solo shoot', according to her mother Kerry. Heidi is currently a brand ambassador for In Print We Trust, and she offers fans discounts for using her code as she has proven herself to be the budding influencer. And it is not just TV appearances and brand deals that Heidi can capitalise off, as her TikTok and Instagram accounts have amassed over 20,000 followers. With her 18,000 Instagram followers, she is estimated to earn anywhere between £160 to £245 for each sponsorship brand deal video. Heidi has been trying to break onto the showbusiness scene for many years as she appeared on The Voice Kids in 2020. Having confessed previously that 'she knows she will be famous in the future', the brunette beauty has also teased that she has considered going on Love Island when she is older enough. And there is more to come for the star as a source told the Sun last year that she had 'already secured some incredible opportunities, including a casting in for a lead role in a Pinocchio feature film'. Heidi appears to be taking inspiration of success from family friend Princess as the Katona and Price families have been spending more time with one another over recent years.
