Where you've seen UK's Eurovision entry Remember Monday bandmates before
They're heading to the Eurovision stage to represent the UK but if you think the women of Remember Monday look familiar, you're not imagining things - and also you have a good memory!
The country-pop trio, made up of Lauren Byrne, Holly-Anne Hull and C harlotte Steele, have had quite the journey to the international spotlight, and they're no strangers to a TV appearance. The girls are this year's UK Eurovision hopefuls, performing their harmony-rich track What The Hell Just Happened, and they'll be stepping out on stage in Basel, Switzerland, as part of the glittery grand final.
But it turns out this isn't their first brush with a big singing contest.
The Voice UK
Way before Eurovision came calling, Remember Monday had their first taste of national fame on The Voice UK back in 2019. At the time, all three women were in their early 20s and auditioned together as a group.
Their rendition of Seal's 'Kiss From A Rose' wowed the entire panel so much so that all four judges hit their buzzers. Every judge: Jennifer Hudson, Will.I.Am, Tom Jones and Olly Murs all turned around to try and win them over. They eventually joined Team J-Hud, and made it to the knockouts performing their original song Jailbreaker.
West End
The three-piece, who became friends at sixth form in Farnborough, Hampshire, started writing and rehearsing music on Mondays, hence the name. The group creates a unique mix of modern country, vintage harmonies and pop-rock flair. Think Nashville meets the West End.
Theatre fans of musical stage shows might recognise Lauren and Holly-Anne from London's top productions. Between them, they've starred in Phantom of the Opera and Six: The Musical, adding some West End polish to their country-pop credentials.
Festival appearances
Since their time on The Voice, the group has been steadily making waves in the UK country scene. They've played at Country to Country and The Long Road Festival and even embarked on their own UK headline tour, selling out a London show in the process.
They've also built a loyal online following, boasting 77,000 followers on Instagram and over half a million TikTok fans. And they've caught the attention of a few famous faces along the way.
BBC Radio 2's Scott Mills is already a fan, having played them on his show, and earlier this year the trio made it across the pond to the Jennifer Hudson Show in the US. A clip from the appearance, captioned by the show 'Reunited and it feels so good! @remembermonday_ has come such a long way since @iamjhud coached them on @thevoiceuk', had fans reminiscing about their early days.
One viewer wrote: 'I recently found out about this group and now I've learned that YOU were their coach! This is incredible.' Another chimed in with: 'Going from watching you gals on the West End to now this. Proud as punch!!'
Eurovision shake-up
Their Eurovision entry marks a significant shift in tone from last year's act, when Olly Alexander took to the stage with his synth-pop number Dizzy. That entry unfortunately finished near the bottom, with zero points from the public.
This time around, the UK's Eurovision organisers are clearly betting on a fresh formula. A source told The Sun: 'As ever behind the scenes competition has been fierce to represent the UK. This year, bosses have opted to shake things up and send a female trio, Remember Monday.'
The UK hasn't had a win since 1997, and with Switzerland's glitzy St Jakobshalle hosting the show this May, so the pressure's on. However, if this is the year UK takes the trophy, the song choice of What The Hell Just Happened will be appropriate.

You know, normally, you just like stamp your foot on the floor and the fox will run away? Getcha! So, I stamped me foot, and this fox really like nonchalantly crawled down the wall looking at me, walked towards me. "And I'd obviously had a couple of drinks - I'm thinking, 'Oh, this ain't happening'. Well, it pounced. I've jumped, dropped me wallet, it's got it in its mouth and gone up the road, took my wallet!" After the bizarre incident, Rylan then had to report the theft to his card company. However, they required a crime reference number since he had reported his card as stolen. Yet, in a comical twist, he then had to call the police to report his unusual mugging. When asked why he needed a crime reference number, he explained that he had been "mugged", leading to further questions about the identity of the perpetrator. He responded: "I was like, 'Oh, a fox', and I could just hear them all laughing. They were like, 'Could you describe them?' I was like, 'Bushy, ginger'. Yeah, I still got the crime reference number." Meanwhile, the beloved broadcaster recently branded his mum, Linda, a "walking disaster" during a live show after she revealed how she'd hurt her arms whilst at home. During a telephone chat live on his programme, Linda explained to the audience that she'd been "looking in the ottoman" when the "lid came down", with Rylan noting that she'd cut her arm in the process. "Oh it did hurt", Linda replied, before saying: "If it ain't one thing it's another, isn't it?" In response, Rylan said: "That's why you're like a walking disaster at the moment," to which Linda agreed. However, just weeks earlier, Rylan had disclosed that Linda wouldn't feature on his programme as she'd been rushed to hospital. He informed his followers on Instagram that "Mummy Linda isn't well sadly". He subsequently praised the emergency staff at Princess Alexandra Hospital whilst reassuring supporters that he would provide updates and that his mum is "on the mend" and a "trooper".

Former Love Island winner Amber Davies has hit out at a 'selfish' theatre goer for 'ruining' her West End performance in The Great Gatsby. The theatre actress, 28, took to Instagram in full stage make-up while backstage at the London Coliseum following her latest show. After Saturday evening's performance, Amber issued a warning to those attending the musical after being distracted by someone in the audience. She told Instagram followers: 'This is a PSA. The closer you are to the stage when you're watching a show the more obvious it is when you're filming. 'This is the entire stalls. If you're filming in the stalls we can see you! From someone who's on stage, I just wanna tell you a little bit about what we see. So we see like a dark canvas and outlines of people's heads. 'If you're filming, the reflection from the lights bounce straight back off your ... the back of your iPhone onto us on stage. So it is the one thing we can see.' She then criticised one particular audience member. 'So to the woman filming New Money tonight - you distracted absolutely everybody on that stage. 'And not only that, it takes us out of the Gatsby world because you're filming and you've basically ruined that moment for everybody else who was watching the show tonight.' 'Please don't be selfish. Stop filming shows. If someone is filming during a show know that this is the consequences that it has to the people on stage and tell them to stop because honestly it's annoying. 'Also, I single-handedly will count how many seats back you are and tell our stage manager where you're sitting and what colour hair you've got, and trust me, in the interval they will come and ask you to delete the footage so you've basically done it for nothing. 'Okay, I'm gonna enjoy act two now.' The production, running at the London Coliseum from April 16 to September 7, brings F. Scott Fitzgerald's iconic story to life in dazzling style. In February, the complete casting for the West End production was revealed. Joining the previously announced Jamie Muscato as Jay Gatsby and Frances Mayli McCann as Daisy Buchanan are Corbin Bleu as Nick Carraway, Amber Davies as Jordan Baker, Joel Montague as George Wilson, John Owen-Jones as Meyer Wolfsheim, Jon Robyns as Tom Buchanan and Rachel Tucker as Myrtle Wilson. Adapted from F. Scott Fitzgerald's classic American novel, The Great Gatsby follows the mysterious millionaire Jay Gatsby and his quest to win back the heart of married socialite Daisy Buchanan, his former flame. This musical adaptation arrives in London following its 2024 Broadway premiere, where it won the Tony Award for Best Costume Design. Earlier in January, the star lashed out at trolls who criticised her for her work schedule. The beauty, who won Love Island back in 2017, took to Instagram at the time to share a snap of herself returning to work at the Universal Music Group studios, where she was thought to be recording her podcast Call to Stage. Captioning her mirror selfie, Amber penned: 'First working day of 2025', before adding: 'Time to buckle up.' And while the West End star seemed in good spirits about getting back to the grind, she found herself facing backlash at having only just returned to work 20 days into the new year. A second image on Amber's stories then showed the response she received on her last post, with one person responding: 'Imagine going over half the month without working ' alongside eye roll emojis. Clearly unimpressed with the criticism, Amber then wrote over the screenshot, hitting out at the person as she remarked that she 'needed the break' before urging them to not judge. She wrote: 'Erm I need the break. I lived out of a suitcase on tour for a whole year with no day off in sight, whilst doing 8 shows a week & then worked all the way up to week before Xmas so ... Don't judge my unemployed downtime.' Amber's hard work she referred to was her year-long role as Vivian Ward in the touring production of the Pretty Woman musical. The star then went on to further address the criticism in a video shared to her stories as she opened up about the difficulties of self-employed working and noted that she would have worked 'if the work was there'. Speaking to the camera, Amber said: 'I literally love the internet. Everyone's like "you don't need to justify yourself". And I'm like "justify myself for being self-employed?".' She went on: 'Like, yes, I've had half of the month off, the majority of the month off, because 1) I'm self-employed and 2) I did need a break, but if the work was there, I would have worked.'
