‘10 days of pain before murder by father': Tennis player Radhika Yadav's friend reveals disturbing details
In the second part of the video, Himaanshika Singh Rajput alleged that Radhika Yadav had been suffering for the last 10 days before her murder and had told her father she was willing to do whatever he says.
Calling the murder premeditated, Himaanshika said Radhika Yadav's father was planning to kill her for three days.
Preliminary probe has suggested that Radhika Yadav's 49-year-old father, Deepak Yadav, was unhappy with her success as a tennis player and growing popularity in social media as well.
'I have been with her, I knew her well. She was a very decent girl but in the last 10 days, her life had become miserable. She had told her father she's willing to do whatever he says and will live on his terms. But her father was so out of his mind that he had no expression on his face,' Himaanshika said in the video.
More revelations by Radhika Yadav's friend
Himaanshika Singh Rajput, in the first part of the video posted on Instagram, alleged that Radhika Yadav's parents were extremely controlling and were sensitive to societal pressure.
Himaanshika said she and Radhika were close for the last eight to ten years, alleged that she was suffering and felt suffocated at home as she needed to explain every activity to her parents.
'She loved getting clicked photos and recording videos but left all those hobbies due to parental pressure as they thought what society would think of them. They were extremely orthodox,' she alleged in the two and half minutes long video on her Instagram handle captioning it as 'Part-I' which has garnered more than two million views and about 3000 comments in less than 24 hours.
Himaanshika also has uploaded another video which she has especially created remembering her deceased friend Radhika.
Meanwhile, a neighbour in the native village of the Yadav family in Wazirabad, once made famous by controversial influencer Elvish Yadav, alleged Deepak was unhappy with Radhika's choice of a partner.
'Radhika wanted to marry someone outside her caste but her father wanted the marriage in the same caste. He was old school and conservative.' an earlier Hindustan Times report quoted as saying the 47-year-old neighbour, who requested anonymity.
Radhika Yadav was shot in the back four times with a licensed revolver by her father in their residence at Sector 57 Gurugram on Thursday.

Operation Kalanemi: Uttarakhand police nab 82 ‘fake' babas, sadhus in Dehradun
The Uttarakhand government recently launched an operation to nab fake saints and sadhus in the state who allegedly cheated people, resulting in the arrest of 82 fake babas. Operation Kalanemi after CM Pushkar Singh Dhami instructed officials to identify impersonators who disguise themselves as saints and mislead people in the name of religion." (ANI Video Grab) 'Operation Kalanemi' was launched on Thursday after chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami's directives to take strict action against those who exploited people's beliefs, said Dehradun Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Ajay Singh. After launching the campaign, CM Dhami had said, "Just as the 'asur' (demon) Kalanemi tried to mislead people by appearing as a saint, there are many such 'Kalanemis' in today's society who are committing crimes in the name of religion." "Multiple teams have been formed, and action is being taken at locations where inputs are received about such impostors playing with people's sentiments," Singh said. He said that among the 34 arrested on Sunday, 23 were natives of other states. Singh further noted that in the last three days, 82 such fake babas have been arrested from different parts of the hill state, and legal action is being taken under relevant sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita. A Bangladeshi national, Rukn Rakam alias Shah Alam, was also among those held on Friday from Dehradun's Sahaspur area. SSP Singh further said that 'Operation Kalanemi' will continue to function, especially considering the ongoing Char Dham Yatra and Kanwar Yatra, as these are famously attractive spots for babas, spiritual leaders, etc. Hindu religious groups reportedly welcomed the Uttarakhand government's move to target fake seers. 'Only original saints must be there' Earlier, the President of Akhil Bharatiya Parishad, Ravindra Puri, had welcomed this decision and asserted that strict action should be taken against anyone who cheats Kanwariyas. "Kanwar is being conducted in Haridwar and we welcome this decision by the Chief Minister and thank him as well... The fake saints ask for money from and cheat Kanwariya and abuse those who refuse to give money; these people should be subjected to strict action," Puri had told news agency ANI. Akhand Parshuram Akhada chief also condemned such fake babas act and said that the Aadhaar cards of these 'imposters' should be verified, and action against those caught must be taken. While India is about to become Vishwaguru, only original saints must be there... There are some seers (fake ones) who have committed a crime, and action must be taken on such people," he said. Uttarakhand BJP chief Mahendra Bhatt also said that some people try to disturb society, pressing on the need for strict action against them. "Some criminal elements try to ruin social environment. Everyone must follow the laws made by the government... There are numerous people who try to disturb society, and they will be subjected to strict action," Bhatt said.

Tej Pratap slams Bihar's deteriorating law and order, says Nitish Kumar's governance
Patna (Bihar) [India], July 13 (ANI): Bihar's politics is heating up ahead of the 2025 assembly elections, with former minister Tej Pratap Yadav launching a scathing attack on the state's law and order situation. Yadav, expelled from the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD), claimed that the Nitish Kumar-led government has lost control, allowing criminals to run amok in Patna and across Bihar. He alleged that the government and administration are complicit in the chaos, predicting that the government will collapse soon after the elections. He stated, 'The law and order situation in Bihar has completely collapsed. Even Nitish Kumar ji seems to be in a coma, with the government barely functioning, allowing criminals in Patna and across Bihar to run rampant. The government and administration are fully complicit, and this unbridled government is on the verge of collapse.' The law and order situation is worsening daily, as another murder occurred in broad daylight recently. The opposition has been vocal about the deteriorating law and order situation in Bihar. RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav has also criticised the government, citing alarming statistics, including 60,000 murders and 25,000 rapes during Kumar's tenure. Earlier today, the unidentified assailants gunned down a lawyer in Patna's Sultanganj area on Sunday, police said. The victim, identified as Jitendra Mahato, aged around 58, succumbed to his injuries during treatment at Patna Medical College and Hospital (PMCH). This killing comes close on the heels of the recent murders of prominent businessman and BJP leader Gopal Khemka and another individual in Patna's Ram Krishna Nagar area, intensifying opposition criticism against the Nitish Kumar-led government over rising crime in the state. Meanwhile, responding to a question about the Election Commission's directive to revise electoral rolls, which faced opposition from one faction of the grand alliance, and the BJP's claims of identifying intruders, Tej Pratap Yadav fired back, accusing the BJP of deflecting scrutiny from their own actions. He questioned the timing of the BJP's claims, suggesting that they only raise the issue of intruders during elections to suit their agenda. Tej Pratap said, 'Many within the BJP are themselves intruders. They point fingers at others to deflect scrutiny from their own actions. During elections, the RSS and BJP create this narrative because they know their position is weak. They label others as intruders to suit their agenda.' He further questioned the timing of the BJP's claims, stating, 'They now claim that people from Myanmar, Bangladesh, and neighbouring countries have been identified by BLOs. Why wasn't this visible earlier? It's only now, during elections, that they suddenly notice people from other states or countries like Myanmar. Why is this issue only raised when elections are held?' "Fort that Chhangur Baba built in India was funded by Pakistan": BJP MP Brij Lal
Lucknow (Uttar Pradesh) [India], July 13 (ANI): Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Rajya Sabha MP Brij Lal on Sunday alleged that Chhangur Baba, running a massive religious conversion racket, was funded by Pakistan and other Islamic countries to make India an Islamic country. Speaking in Lucknow, Lal claimed that the India-Nepal border has been a sensitive area, with madrasas near the border serving as refugee camps. 'The India Nepal border has been a very sensitive area. These madrasas near the border are refugee camps. The fort that Chhangur Baba built in India was funded by Pakistan and other Islamic countries. They have only one goal: to make India an Islamic country,' Lal told ANI. Chhangur Baba, whose real name is Jalaluddin, was arrested by the Uttar Pradesh Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) for allegedly running a conversion racket that targeted Hindu women, particularly those who are poor, widowed, or socially vulnerable. Baba's associate Neetu alias Nasreen was also arrested and is currently in ATS custody. The ATS investigation revealed that Baba's network received nearly Rs 500 crore in foreign funding over three years, with Rs 300 crore allegedly funneled through illegal hawala channels via Nepal. 'They cannot win in a war... Our ATS has exposed this so-called Baba and his network... Funding is coming from abroad. Terrorists have been funded for a long time. Chhangur Baba used to sell rings on a bicycle, now owns 400-500 crores... All of this has been exposed in Modi and Yogi's rule, and it will be uprooted...,' added Lal. A resident of Madpur village in Uttar Pradesh's Balrampur district, Chhangur Baba, Neetu alias Nasreen, and others are accused of being involved in a large-scale conspiracy involving unlawful religious conversions, utilisation of foreign funding, and activities posing a potential threat to national security and communal harmony. The UP Police's Anti-Terrorism Squad had arrested Chhangur Baba and his aide in Lucknow on July 5. Meanwhile, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Saturday said that illegal religious conversions are part of a deep-rooted conspiracy against the nation and society, and declared that such acts will not be tolerated under any circumstances. He highlighted the recent action taken in Balrampur, where a large-scale conversion racket was busted. He said that the state government has exposed a network involved in forced religious conversions, funded by foreign sources. CM Yogi Adityanath said, 'We have proceeded with a huge investigation in Balrampur. You must have seen he (Jalaluddin alias Chhingur Baba) had fixed rates (for conversion). He was receiving foreign funding. Transactions of more than Rs 100 crores were found in his 40 bank accounts.' Describing these developments as a threat to both social and financial security, the Chief Minister asserted that converting Scheduled Caste individuals by luring or intimidating them is unconstitutional and violates the spirit of social harmony. 'Such acts aim to break society and harm communal amity,' Yogi said, adding that strict action is being taken against those involved. (ANI)
