Libbok, along with tighthead prop Brok Harris and scrumhalves Herschel Jantjies and Paul de Wet, played a pivotal role in the Stormers' 2021-22 URC win. Harris has retired, while Jantjies and De Wet join Bayonne and the Vodacom Bulls, respectively.
Veteran Clayton Blommetjies is also exiting, as hooker Joseph Dweba heads to Exeter Chiefs and Englishman Ben Loader returns home to link up with Gloucester. Winger Angelo Davids has signed with the Lions.

Picture: Top youngster spotted with Kaizer Chiefs first team!
Kaizer Chiefs are finalising their preparations on home soil before boarding to the Netherlands on Thursday for pre-season. Chiefs players have been at their training village for about a week and will now step up their preps abroad. Upon the player's return towards the end of June, they have been doing their routine testing. This week, pictures have surfaced showing them stepping it up a notch by doing some gym work. In the pictures released by the club, two of the three players Chiefs announced as new signings on Tuesday were spotted. On Tuesday Chiefs confirmed the three acquisitions of Nkanyiso Shinga, Flavio Silva and Ethan Chislett . All three players being formerly overseas-based players prior to joining Amakhosi. The latter on the list, an attacking midfielder had quite a few options to stay abroad, including English League One side Wigan and Scottish Premier League side Motherwell. Now the two of the three signings that were spotted putting in the hard yards in the gym were Silva and Chislett. It remains to be seen if Shinga was also part of the session but was just not captured and uploaded. Another interesting face that was visible in the gym was young striker Naledi Hlongwane. The teenager formed part of the Chiefs DDC last season and finished as runner up in the golden boot race. In 2024 he rose to prominence after scoring two goals for the Carling All-Stars team against Magesi FC. Later in the season it was rumoured that he had been promoted to the Chiefs first team. Although he did train and travel with the team a few times, Hlongwane never made a match day squad. With Hlongwane spotted in the gym with the first team, it looks likely that he will travel with the Chiefs. Amakhosi fans, are you happy with the latest developments?
