Two minor siblings found dead under mysterious circumstances in Dewas
Their mother, Priya Yadav, found them motionless when she tried to wake them up for school.
They were rushed to Sanskar Hospital, where doctors pronounced them dead.
Industrial Area police station in charge Shashikant Chaurasia said that a team was dispatched to the scene to begin an investigation. "The case is suspicious and the exact cause of death will only be known after we receive postmortem examination report," he said.
Priya Yadav informed police that she had a love marriage with Vishnu Katara. But they separated two years ago due to disputes.
She moved to Dewas for work after sometime. She recalled that on Friday night, she and her three-year-old daughter Nisha and seven-year-old son Hemant attended a neighbour's birthday party where they ate cake and dal-bati. The children played with others before they all returned home and went to bed.
Around 2 am, she noticed that her son, Hemant fell off the bed and she picked him up and placed him back on the bed. When she woke up in the morning to get both the children ready for school, she found them unresponsive, she mentioned.

Priya's neighbour, Reena and her husband Rakesh, told police that Priya woke them up around 7am saying her children, who slept beside her, were not waking up.
Chaurasia said that they were looking into all possible angles to uncover the truth behind this tragic incident.
On July 17, the children were enrolled in a private school. They attended the school only for a few days and remained absent thereafter. The mother also submitted incomplete documentation for their admission, the police said.

From Parliament To Prison: This Is What Prajwal Revanna Will Eat And Earn In Jail
Last Updated: According to prison regulations, Revanna is allowed two phone calls of 10 minutes each every week, along with one face-to-face visit from family members or friends Hassan's former Lok Sabha member Prajwal Revanna, who once actively participated in parliamentary debates, now finds himself adapting to a starkly different life behind bars. Revanna, now known as Prisoner No. 15528, occupies a cell in the convicts' section of Parappana Agrahara Central Prison, Bengaluru, and is expected to live on a monthly wage of no more than Rs 540—a far cry from his basic salary of Rs 1.2 lakh a month plus various allowances and the standard pay given to convicts who work six days a week in eight-hour shifts. According to the Times of India, Revanna, who was convicted in a high-profile rape case, has not been assigned any work yet and has time until Monday to decide how he will spend his time behind bars. A senior prison official quoted in the report said new convicts usually start with basic unskilled labour such as assisting in the bakery or stitching clothes. According to prison regulations, Revanna is allowed two phone calls of 10 minutes each every week, along with one face-to-face visit from family members or friends. LIFE BEHIND BARS Chapatis, ragi balls, sambhar, white rice, and buttermilk are part of both lunch and dinner. Non-vegetarian options are limited—egg on Tuesdays, mutton on the first and third Friday of every month, and chicken on the second and fourth Saturday. All inmates are expected to return to their barracks by 6.30pm. The suspended Janata Dal (Secular) leader was awarded life imprisonment in one of the four sexual abuse and rape cases registered against him by a Special Court for People's Representatives in Bengaluru. Revanna, the grandson of former prime minister HD Deve Gowda, sought leniency as the punishment was announced, claiming he did nothing wrong and his only mistake was his 'fast growth" in politics. The case pertains to a 48-year-old woman who was working as a domestic help at the family's Gannikada farmhouse in Hassan district's Holenarasipura. She was allegedly raped twice in 2021 and the act recorded by the accused on his mobile phone. He is the prime accused in four criminal cases filed last year, after over 2,000 obscene video clips, allegedly depicting the sexual abuse of multiple women, surfaced on social media. As the allegations were revealed, the survivor was allegedly abducted at the behest of Revanna's parents to prevent her from testifying against their son. Later, she was rescued from a farmhouse as the Special Investigation Team (SIT) swung into action to probe the case. As he faced criticism, Revanna fled to Germany soon after the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. However, he was arrested when he returned to India on May 31, 2024. He has been in jail since.
